A common tale set in the winter. Woodland creatures working together to fend off hunger. Common trope for kids, but the story lacked the oomph or uniqueness that other titles of this variety carry.

In the Winter Woods follows four hungry critters in the middle of Winter. With themes of friendship and sharing, this book is perfect for children. The illustrations were very well done.

Oh this sweet story was beautiful!! I loved the illustrations, and the sweet story in the winter woods. My four kids cherished this book and asked to read it over and over again! Wonderful kids book, highly recommend!
