Thank you NetGalley for the e-book copy of this book!

This story is about Lissa who is immersed in a fantasy land under the sea after trying to learn how to paint a sunset while her father searches for her up in the shore.
I thought the plot was very creative and interesting but i wish we could explored the world and the characters more. The book felt a little too short to me and i felt if we got more, as the reader, i would be able to connect more with the characters and the world. But I did enjoy reading this book and it had some great quotes! And I did really enjoy how creative the plot was and where it went!

Who knew sunsets could be so beautiful and so devastating at the same time?
In this book we follow Lissa as she finds herself stuck in a mysterious, fairytale like world, while her father remains searching for her at the shore.
I found the story of Lissa very creative and I wasn't expecting it to be so original! There is a lot of world building happening in very few pages and I think the book definitely could've been longer to explore that world a lot more! I would certainly love to read a longer version.

To me the topics of grief and the beauty of nature are very interesting and I feel like the book goes over them way too quickly. I would've loved if the topics were explored in more depth, for example the story of the father is now only a couple of pages long. In conclusion, the premise of the book is really interesting and creative and I think the book could've explored these topics better.

Thank you to NetGalley for the e-book!
