This was such a fun read! The author really excels at keeping dialogue going without making what is suppose to be a good back and forth exhausting.

I love how Trixie(average witch) has a normal job, though not a common job it just makes her so much more relatable and gives her an instant edge. Dominic is how you would expect a vampire to be if that makes sense but the pace in which the plot moves along is good for the word count and it doesn’t seem too forced as things are rationalized along the way. The duo point of view is done well and you don’t easily lose track or feel like you’re being interrupted when switching views.

Super cute and funny banter, Grandma Betty was also my fav character she is a perfect addition to the cast.

I was in the mood for a light book, so I thought this title would fit. And, boy, did it! This book is such a delight, and to be honest, this particular genre isn’t my go-to, so it was a surprise to me just how much it did. Trixie is a tortured soul, but we don’t know how much until a little way into the book. Dominic is a wonderful foil for her, and they battle each other until they don’t. I don’t want to spoil it too much, but this is a wonderful, light-hearted, romance that really gets you right in the ticker. This is a great book for those who love paranormal romance with a dash of the paranormal. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

I enjoyed this book, it was an easy read. Trixie Gardens is a witch who is suppressing her powers. You find out through the story why she has issues with them.

She meets Dom, a rich, good looking vampire who falls head over heels almost immediately. They aren't really enemies or rivals because she is annoyed with him but it doesn't seem to have real anger behind it.

Trixie was a little annoying at times, she kept complaining that he was selling her building and she couldn't afford to live anywhere else. However, when he mentioned money she got angry that he didn't understand it wasn't just about the money. Even though that's all she kept complaining about, over and over.

It was a light hearted and enjoyable read.

This book is a perfect palette cleanser for if you are in a book slump. Its funny, witty and good enemies to lovers tension.

Trixie is a witch who’s trying to love normally and she has constant conflict with the owner of her building, dominic who’s a vampire. Dominic is selling the building and Trixie is quite upset and chooses a hex as a way to teach him a lesson, to say this backfires is understated. There’s also a dangerous situation in Dominic’s life that shakes things up and puts a lot on the line for him and everyone close to him.

Cute and short paranormal romance. I thought it would be a little dark, but it was actually more light-hearted and fun to read. Basically no spice (just kissing), and plot went by pretty fast. Dom is more of a grump, but he fell first and harder for Trixie, who was initially annoyed with Dom's demeanor/behavior. The rivals-to-lovers trope implied in the synopsis is actually short-lived - their romance is more of a growing romance between 2 different magical species. It was cool to imagine a world where different magical beings live together (presumably with humans) in New York City. Not a lot of surprises in this book/pretty predictable in my opinion, and everything is wrapped up nicely in the end.

I adore wholesome paranormal romance, especially when it comes with a good dose of humor, and Hate Hex delivered on both fronts. I connected with Trixie far more than I anticipated; her backstory truly resonated with me. Dom, being a rich vampire, was initially harder to relate to, but his growing love for Trixie throughout the story became palpable and endearing. Without giving away any spoilers, I’ll just say the ending left me hopeful for a sequel—I can’t wait to see more of their journey.

This was cute supernatural book a bit too slow burn for my tastes and not spicy at all but enjoyed it anyways especially Dom I loved him so much! It made me LOL a few times too and I was intrigued by the magical politics I'd never read or seen a setup like this. I mean you had me at vampire x witch hex to romance. It def wasn't enemies to lovers though more insta connection with her being rightfully annoyed with him and then not at all lol.
