I am a super-smeller and was very interested in this non-fiction book about scents throughout history. Reinarz obviously did a lot of research to make sure this volume included so much pertinent information about human olfactory senses. The writing does become a bit dry, but the details included were worth it.

I love this topic and this book handles it deftly. It's engaging and well researched.

I'm still slugging through it--it's interesting but a bit scattered, which is hard for me to latch into it for more than a few minutes at a time.
