Cute story, I really enjoyed reading a story where the lead character was not early 20s. I also enjoyed it was a reverse age gap story in which the female was older than the male.
I loved the passion between Margot and Vaughn and to me, they were perfect for each other!! She was all business and he was all rock and roll, so they balanced each other out and brought different things to their relationship. What woman hasn’t dreamt of dating a sexy and mysterious rock star? Vaughn is sinfully handsome, a master behind the drum kit, but he was also charming, fun-loving and full of surprises. Their meet-cute at the airport was just the beginning to their whirlwind friendship that turned into so much more. Their weekend away at the cabin was filled with romance, quiet times by the fire, and heartfelt conversations as they shared their hopes and dreams for the future. Neither of them expected to have such a deep connection so soon, but love has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it. Vaughn was a hard man to resist and Margot was happy to have him in her life. Vaughn was crazy about Margot and he could see them being together forever, but what about Margot? Could she take time off from work by delegating to her employees so she could experience life on the road with Vaughn? I wouldn’t pass up that opportunity for anything!! Let’s hope Margot picks love as the answer!!
It is an interesting story about a woman running her own business and raising her daughter. They have a good relationship and her daughter wants her mother who is in her forties to start dating. Margot is not thinking about that but meets a man when she is on a trip looking for a location for a movie in Atlanta. He turns out to be younger and a drummer for a rock band. They have great phone conversations and on FaceTime, but he would like to get together again. She decides to go and spend a weekend with him and see one of his concerts, which is good but afterward, she becomes stronger in herself. Really what I got out of this is that she found her inner strength and knew it was not determined by a man but by her, a very good book.
