What an emotional read! I was not expecting how this would develop but found that the sensitive issue of grief and how everyone reacts differently was well written. There were some parts where I found that some of the characters were a bit too intrusive but other parts where I found some of them extremely supportive. Evan surprises Holly with a romantic weekend away but while there events change the course of their lives for ever. This covers romance, friendship, family and grief. I would highly recommend reading the previous books in this series to gain an understanding of how everyone is connected but this can be read as a standalone. Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

This book will break your heart over and over. I think I cried for the entire read.
Very well written story about love and loss, not a particularly fun festive read the romance is there but there’s no happy ending.
Holly is learning how to live through loss and spends time with her partners family as part of her grieving process.
You will need a lot of tissues and will then spend a lot of time hugging loved ones after!

Hannah Lynn is a brilliant writer. this book is an emotional rollercoaster that I lived through with all the characters, the main one being Holly who's life is changed forever in one afternoon.
Romance, grief and friendship are all in this wonderfully written book, I couldn't put it down.
A perfect read for a horrible day with a cup of tea and a comforting bar of chocolate!

Snowflakes Over the Second Chances Sweet Shop, by Hannah Lynn, is not at all what I expected. This was a sad one. It's still a good story, but just realize it is not a happy holiday romance! Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with the ARC ebook I read and reviewed. All opinions are my own.

A good but sad follow up in the sweet shop series. Holly loses a loved one and the book follows her through her grief. I would say that the title doesn’t say anything about what happens in the book, as it’s not Christmassy nor festive but just very sad. I have a feeling we will see more of Holly in the future, she has to get her happy ending with daughter Hope and I’m sure that may include Giles.

I received a free copy of, Snowflakes Over the Second Chances Sweet Sop, by Hannah Lynn, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book seven of seven in The Holly Berry Sweet Shop series. Holly Berry and her daughter Hope, are starting over after the loss of her beloved partner, so she decides to spend the Christmas holidays in the US. I found this book to be good, but very sad.

Liked the story, but felt the end was too abrupt and I felt the “friends” seemed more like nosey neighbors…..a little far fetched to think one would just show up after crossing an ocean…even best friends would call or text first. Loved the interaction between Holly and Evan’s family;.main character was written very well!

I was not ready for this book, I wanted a happy ever after for them. It was so sad and I’m angry for them that this happened. I wanted louts of little babies and a gorgeous life for Holly and Hope. That being said it was well written and the friendships and the way the family was all woken in was great. Thank you NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Then tragedy strikes and her world is turned upside down. She goes to America to spend time with Evan’s family not realising she needs to be with her friends and family at this time but they don’t forget her.

Snowflakes Over the Second Chances Sweet Shop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Don’t let this cover fool you. This is not the happy, light hearted tale it appears to be. This is a story of love and loss. When I tell you I absolutely SOBBED. I never cry. This book destroyed me. Automatic five stars.
I would recommend checking content warnings before reading if you are sensitive to any particular topics.

Thank you netgalley and Boldwood books for my ARC copy.
I really enjoyed this book, I liked the way it dealt with a wide range of ways people deal with grieve. It was a very quick read that has a lovely found family aspect, with shared greive and heart ache.

This book 2 in a series and I haven’t read book one yet.
I enjoyed reading it. Even decided to surprise his girlfriend Holly, and she didnt know it but he was going to propose to her.
When they arrived they walk down th e beach and there was child out on thin ice.Even went out to save him and didn’t make it.
Holley cancels Christmas and goes to America where Even lived, and his family was there.
This could be a standalone book because it start with the people that are there and tells their journey from there.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC

If you’re feeling a little low when reading it your going to need tissues. At the start I struggled with too many character names at once but it didn’t help that I have read no other titles in the series. It’s probably me but I couldn’t connect the storyline with the title of the book.

This is such a bittersweet tale.
Filled with family and an abundance of love.
This is a story that begins with heartbreak but ends with such hope and a feeling of peace.
It felt as though it could be real.
The support from friends and family when tragedy strikes was truly heartwarming.
Best character award goes to Hope, an adorable toddler that bought everyone together in their time of need.
Hannah Lynn has written a book that delivers true emotion in such a gentle way. This novel was a real pleasure to read.

This is the 7th book is the Sweet Shop series. I have enjoyed them all but for fans of the series this one is a bit of a shock.
It's a sad story with not really any light intervals. I did enjoy reading the book but I'm hoping the next one will be a bit lighter.
There really only was one story in the book with was following Holly's life although brief appearances by Ben and Giles were welcome. We didn't get to hear how the lives of the other characters were progressing which I missed.
I dont know if I read this quickly or the book was shorter than usual but I read it in a few hours.
I do love Hannah's books and will be looking forward to the next one.

Having loved the first book I didn’t even read the description, I just dove right in……….. well I bloody loved it, altho wasn’t expecting the turn of events and I will admit reading it was hard as went through similar my self not so long ago. It was a page turner, fastest I have read a book in a long time, and Sophie didn’t disappoint, this is only the second book I have read by her the first being second chance sweet shop. I will definitely e reading more

This was a little sad to read but it was so beautifully written with such sweet messages. The grieving process is different for everyone yet I believe everyone who has lost someone can relate to these characters so well.

Man, this one caught me by surprise! I didn't see the plot coming, but it was a beautiful reunion with old friends. As all of thenother stories in this series, I loved it. Beautiful prose, beautiful characters, and a beautiful message. I can't wait for the final book at the sweet shop!!

This book is amazing!! I cried more or less the entire way through this book and felt so so sorry for Holly. I loved the way Hannah brings these characters to life but also make them so relatable.
