The author systematically takes each person's story from the Bible and highlights the different doubts they had as they walked through their journey of faith. For what it is, it is great. It gives space for questions, treating them kindly and gently acknowledging a wide range. There's not simple or dismissive answers. It can feel a little short sometimes and sometimes feel like things are wrapped up too quickly but the chapters are easy to read and good to think about.

First of all, Thank You, Netgalley for the ARC granted to me once again. As a christian myself, I could tell how a blessing it is to read this book, for it resonates within one of our day by day most difficult life challenges: doubst and unbelief. And the narrative stakes a reminder for all of Us about the truth that needs to be in our heart and also into our minds when We face these moments of doubts and questions tha seems to have no answers. The author has made good points and reflective lessons We can take to ourselves. I truly recommend this book.

In the journey of a Christian, sometimes we undermine our doubtness and just think that we should have a bold faith in Jesus. As a pastor, Ryken with his warm hearts shows us there are a lot of people in the Bible who struggle with his doubt, too, and get hope from the Lord. We can get strengthened by knowing this fact to surrender in God's hand.

A compassionate, friendly, and pastoral reflection on honesty doubts and how they can either drive us towards a deeper commitment to Christ and a more assured understanding of trust in God, or how they can lead us towards disobedience. Highly recommended!
