Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for my gifted audiobook copy.

This grumpy/sunshine trope is sure to hit with fans of the Lovelight series. This one did take me some time to get into, which I am not sure why because I have loved the other books in the series. It is not my favorite in the series but it held its own and I was invested in the story.

I liked that there was not a miscommunication trope because those just bug me to no end. The main characters communicated completely and were on the same page. This one felt real and I could feel the chemistry between the two characters. Spicy, lighthearted with deeper, underlining issues that many readers will connect with.

I’m incredibly thankful for the advanced copy of the audiobook from NetGalley.

I LOVED Lovelight but this book was not plot driven enough for me. I did find the characters endearing and I do enjoy character driven stories normally but here I needed more chemistry and likability, It was many, many hours of no progression or resolution, circles. I know a lot of people did love this so I am happy for them :) I do love BK’s books so much and I cannot wait to read more! First time caller was a huge fav.

B. K. Borison can do no wrong. I loved the ending of the Lovelight series so much. I’ve been rooting for these characters for so many books and reading their love story was a pure delight. Charlie and Nova forever.

I fell in love with BK Borison's writing with Lovelight Farms and that has stayed true all the way to now with Charlie and Nova.

I don't know what it is about the world she has created but I immediately feel comfy, cozy, and immersed with all of these amazing characters and locations.

Charlie is just the greatest, he deserves everything and anything. Nova is also the greatest, but in the opposite but best way (if that makes sense). Their dynamic is just so fun - grumpy/sunshine friends with benefits to lovers make the entire ride just so addictive and entertaining

Honestly, I am struggling to find the words to convey just how sweet and amazing this love story really is. I'm so incredibly sad to say goodbye to Lovelight Farms (unless we get those holiday novellas Becs keeps teasing us about) but I cannot think of a better way to end such a heartfelt series than with Charlie and Nova

If you like sexual tension, drama, witty banter, angst in a lovably imperfect and real story then this is a book you need to pick up ASAP.

I LOVED THIS. Every book in the Lovelight Farms series is better than the last and I have no idea how B.K. Borison does it. If you haven't read this one yet, please do so ASAP.

This is my third read from this series and is the fourth book. Usually I hate to read out of order in a series but it’s really doable with this series. This book follows two main characters you’ll already know if you have read the rest of the series - Charlie and Nova.

Nova is setting up her tattoo business in town and with Charlie in town visiting his sister he is lending Nova a hand. But Nova quickly realises they could do much more for each other. What ensues is a chemistry filled secret affair!

The third act fall out really gets to me sometimes when it comes down to basic communications I quite liked the way Nova and Charlie communicated with each other in this one.

Across this series there is strong neurodivergent representation which carried on into this book. If you liked this series you could try anything by Talia Hibbert or Sarah Adams. If you liked the tattoo artist aspect you could also check out Echoes of Scotland Street.

I ADORED Nova and Charlie’s story! Charlie’s a city boy who lives for his trips to Lovelight Farms. Nova is the local tattoo artist of the small town. I love an opposites attract romance, and a good “surely a one night stand will get this out of our system” hits every time.

This was a really beautiful end to a series I loved, and I would encourage others to read them in order to get the full impact!

4 stars.

"Business Casual" by B.K. Borison is the final installment in her Lovelight Farms series. I liked reading Nova and Charlie's story. I don't feel like I got as invested in it as I did with the other couples (Stella and Luka, Beckett and Evie, and Layla and Caleb), but this is still a solid book. I enjoyed their chemistry with one another, especially their flirty banter and their ever-changing feelings as they went from friends to lovers. Charlie has massive golden retriever energy. He was so adorable! The way he helps her through her migraine towards the middle-end of the book made me swoon. I loved Nova's journey as a tattoo artist opening her own studio. She constantly second-guesses herself, so watching her confidence grow was a blast. I loved getting looks at the other couples throughout the story, as well as getting to hear the meddlings of the townspeople we have come to enjoy throughout the series (phone tree for life!). This was a great end to the series which, as a whole, was massively successful in my opinion. Finally, Pippa Jayne and Benjamin D. Walker bring the characters of Nova and Charlie to life in an authentic, perfect way. Wonderful voiceover work for these characters. They really helped keep my attention on this story!

Thank you to NetGalley, B.K. Borison, and Dreamscape Media for the complimentary ALC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

Love this series! Nova and her tattoos is no match for Charlie and his suits. The chemistry between them does not stand a chance of finding relief if they think they can get it to resolve with a one-night stand. That just creates all sorts of goodness. Hahahahahaha. What a way to wrap up this series!

Wasn't aware that this was the fourth book in a series. Writing style was fine, but wasn't engaging enough to keep me interested in the story or connect with the characters.

This book brought me so much joy. I love this series so much! I'm sad to see it end, but this was the perfect way to end it. Charlie and Nova's story was amazing.

I'm SO HAPPY that Dreamscape approved me for this ALC when Berkley didn't. I'm Becs' biggest fan! I know the books are seasonal, but I always want to return to Inglewild in the wintertime. I had been looking forward to Nova and Charlie for so long, and I'm heartbroken that the series has come to an end.

I loved these two wildly independent characters, not looking for love, and how they found joy in each other.

Pippa Jayne and Benjamin D. Walker nailed this narration. Both narrators were a great fit for their respective characters, and the production was perfect. I'm not aware of any of their previous work, but I'll certainly be watching out for them in the future.

Business Casual lived up to all expectations! I don't reread books often, so it's a testament to the series that this is one I'll return to time and again.

BUSINESS CASUAL

this was a perfect end to the series. I was eagerly waiting for Charlie s book and it didn't disappoint. Charlie was everything one can wish for and am glad he got the support he needed from Nova.
I wish this series would never end.

Just a delightful story. I loved the tension and the plot. Charlie was everything you would want in a book boyfriend. I seriously couldn’t get through this fast enough, and then was sad it was over. It was also fun to see all of the fun characters from previous books!

Business Casual is a sweet and satisfying end to the Lovelight series.

This opposites attract story beautifully unpacks the experiences of Charlie and Nova as they navigate their relationship. I loved their chemistry, Charlie’s golden retriever personality, Nova’s tough exterior. As always the family provides more than their fair share of comedy, meddling and love, making this an engaging and warm read. The other couples from the Lovelight series also got their fair share of airtime, making this a perfect send off.

The narration was engaging and vibrant, and really did a wonderful job of portraying Nova and Charlie’s banter, personalities, and emotional experience.

Thank you Dreamscape Media for an early copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.

Definitely saved the best for last. I have absolutely loved this series. Every book had made me smile from ear to ear. Charlie and Nova's story took me on a rollercoater that I didn't want to get off of. I couldnt put it down. The audio narration has taken me some getting used to over the series but I have definitely warmed to the narrator and I think she did a great job with Charlie and Nova. I'm sad to be leaving Lovelight Farm but I can't wait to see what is to come from this author.

I love everything with Lovelight Farms and the surrounding town! This whole crazy and lovable community is their own individual group of people but they are all connected in such an intertwined way. I love these characters and the cozy small town vibes. This was a fantastic conclusion to the series! It gave a taste of all the couples and “where are they now” but dove into the insecurities and inner workings of Nova and Charlie’s brains. At first I thought it was opposites attract, but they definitely seemed more similar as the story unfolded. I was excited to get access to the audiobook through Dreamscape Media and Dreamscape Publishing right before publication date, but didn’t actually start it until the end of October, which really helped me feel the fall vibes.
