Returning to the town of Inglewild and for the conclusion of the Lovelight Farms series was an absolute dream. This series is so special! I had feared that the ending may not live up to the hype or expectation, but it was even better than I could have imagined.

Charlie and Nova touched my heart so deeply. I loved their chemistry and friendship and rooted for them every step of the way as their story developed. The character depth is incredible on so many levels. It was a joy to revisit our favorite couples from the previous books and the townsfolk we have come to know and love within this small fictional town.

Thank you to Dreamscape Media for the ALC as the dual narration for Charlie and Nova really brought these characters to life. They nailed the humor and the heart in this story. I loved every minute of it! In fact, I have found myself relistening to chapters even though I have finished the book.

AUDIOBOOK eARC received from net galley.
I did not know when I received it that it was just three days before the archive but I tried listening to it the first time and it was too slow of a progress for me maybe because of the writing? I liked the little nuances on the voice of the FMC the MMC not so much, but for the story, I don't think this is it for me. I just realized too that I had dnf=ed book two prior a year ago or so. SO maybe the hype did not bode well with me. But I adore how the MMC found out he's in love with her. The tortured thinking that he's gonna mess it up and the adoration and affection of the FMC regardless of how her character is. Well Also THAT PROPOSAL! YESS to WOMEN TATTOO ARTIST ♥

"You're so wet. Is all this for me?"
"I was thinking of John Stamos."

"You said one night; you didn't say one time."

"...You'll talk to me tomorrow. You won't hide from me. I refuse to be a regret, Nova."

"I never felt like I was missing anyone before."

I laughed, I swooned and I shed a tear saying goodbye to the Lovelight Farms romcom series, with the fourth and final audiobook, Business Casual by the amazingly talented author B.K. Borison.

In this final installment of the steamy laugh out loud small town romantic comedy series we have opposites attract Beckett's tattooed, casual in life sister, Nova and Stella's straight lace all business golden retriever brother, Charlie, finally admitting their attraction to each other. But Stella's opening her tattoo shop and just wants one night to get Charlie out of her system and Charlie, well he's going to change her mind, because one night with Nova will never be enough.

Voice actress Pippa Jayne.was such sarcastic fun fooling no one about her real feelings for Charlie. Voice actor Benjamin D. Walker not only wins Nova's heart with his swoony tone, he won mine too.

The writer brought the laughs, the steam, the romance and the Inglewood townsfolk together for one last adorable couple. It's a standalone but, seriously, why deprive yourself?! Experience all 4 books. There's nothing casual about this town's business of fun and love. This is a ready made TV series @netflix.

Book 1 - Lovelight Farms
Book 2 - In The Weeds
Book 3 - Mixed Signals
Book 4- Business Casual (series completed)

I received a free copy of this audiobook from Dreamscape Media via #NetGalley for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

A fun series with great banter and this book only takes that up a notch! The starts at Lovelight Farm and then ventures into the surrounding town to bring in the townspeople, families of the core Lovelight Farm characters and more. This book follows Nova, Beckett's youngest sister, and Charlie, Stella's brother as they navigate friendship, casual lovers and finally maybe more....if they don't sabotage themselves and screw it all up. The book is a sweet small-town romance with bits and bites of spice to heat things up! The banter is hilarious, the shenanigans full out loud laugh worthy and the spice is swoon worthy. The underlying theme of communication and reaching for what you want is well written throughout the book and helps bring a bit of hope to the story that we all need today! I can't recommend this series and in particular this book enough. The narration is outstanding with dual narration to help bring the Nova and Charlie more fully to life. If you like a good Hallmark movie, but with a touch more spice to it, then this is absolutely the book or rather the series for you!

This is the fourth and final book in the Lovelight series! I’ve really enjoyed this series. It’s both sweet and spicy. They can be read as a stand-alone, but I definitely recommend starting with the first book.

Business Casual was a fun conclusion to the series. I loved coming back to Inglewild and the comical “phone tree.” Who wouldn’t love a romance between Stella’s brother Charlie, and Bennett’s sister Nova! Charlie had me swooning every time he called Nova, Nova Girl! I just loved it! There was a lot of miscommunication between these two, but in the end it didn’t detract from my love of the story.

The epilogue and conclusion to the series was perfect! I will miss Lovelight Farms and all the sweet characters I have come to love over the years!

Short synopsis: After sending his sister on a dream honeymoon, Charlie takes over her tree farm for the fall festival. Running into his best friends sister Nova, they decide to have a one stand to get it out of their system.

My thoughts: We are back in Inglewild, with the meddling phone tree which has grown new branches. I’ve really loved this series, and how each character from the previous books make a cameo.

I absolutely love Artsy Nova and how passionate she is and I loved the chemistry between her and broken Charlie. This was sizzling from the get-go, so expect quite a bit of spice.

I’m sad to see this series come to and end, but I’m excited to see what the author comes out with next!

I was so excited to also get an early copy of the audio on this! The dual narration was so well done, they really complemented each other. I especially loved the chapters with the text messages.

Read if you love:
- Best friends sister
- Just one night
- Found family
- Sunshine arty girl and Business savvy guy
- Cameos from interconnected series
- Tattoos and Flowers

4 Stars

This was such a good romance book. I loved their love story and the small town vibe. I haven't read the others in the series but now I must! This is a book about a close knit family and found family which is one of my favorite tropes. It is for sure worth the read or listen. I loved the narrators and how they told the story. They were so good.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook.

Oh Lovelight Farms! What a wonderfully adorable small town filled with chaos and adorable characters! I LOVED both Nova and Charlie, with a sweet and spicy relationship dynamic as well as their own amazing character details as individuals. This was such a great end to a wonderful series, and I loved how much we got of the prior three couples in this book as well! Overall, a great book and a series I may just have to go back and reread!

I read it sometime back as I receive md the DRC, I am absolutely in love with Charlie and Nova.
Now for the audiobook, my review still stands, even if it's the second time, I fell in love all over again. But I am not obsessed with the narration, I think some sentences sounded better in my head. The narrators have done a wonderful job for the most part, but it could have been better. Also if the male and female voices have been used in the other PoV as well instead of female narrator modulating the voice I think it would have been better.
So for the book it is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Audiobook ⭐⭐⭐⭐

.
My review of the book, this still stands, I loved it so much.
I loved it, I loved Charlie 💗💗
.
I regret putting off reading the author's books, but maybe this was fate. Maybe I was supposed to know Nova and Charlie first. Now I can go and see all their interactions in the previous books knowing how adorable they are together. Charlie is a sweetheart, perfect cinnamon roll MMC, I love him.😍
.
I don't know how I came to read two similar books, Just for the summer and this one, but it did and I loved it. 💗🥲
.
Nova and Charlie were not supposed to catch feelings when they entered a casual relationship but the universe has other plans and I wholeheartedly approve 🫰🎆🎉🎊They are perfect together.
.
“Take the cupcake. The cupcake is here for you. You asked for the cupcake before, remember? But the cupcake was being stupid and didn’t say the right things.”
.
I mean how can I not laugh! Charlie is such a sweet guy, I was laughing and giggling at multiple places. He takes care of everybody and recommends historical romances - I rest my case, he is THE BEST!!
.
I am not forgetting Nova, she is someone who understands Charlie, an independent, tattooed FMC who can stay shoulder to shoulder with Charlie in banter.
.
💗 Small town romance
💗 Cinnamon roll MMC who thinks he doesn't deserve love, but deserves all the love in the world.
💗 Tattooed, independent FMC
💗 Casual relationship turns to true love
💗 Banter and LOL moments
💗 I want to be part of the phone tree
💗 Taking care of sick FMC
💗 Spice 3🌶️

Business Casual is the fourth book in the Lovelight romance series. Nova Porter is focused on one thing and one thing only, getting her tattoo shop up and running. There is no room for love in her life and she’s not looking for it, but there may be room for a little bit of no strings fun. Charlie Milford is an investment banker from NYC, but lately he’s been spending all of his free time in this small town. When his half sister Stella goes on her honeymoon, Charlie steps in and takes over Lovelight Farms for the duration. He loves this town and the people in it, especially Nova, but she will barely give him the time of day until one day she comes to him with a proposition. Will the pair be able to keep it ‘business casual’ or will those dreaded strings get in the way?

I’ve read the first two books in this series and always love returning to Lovelight farms. This is may favorite couple so far. I really connected with Nova and Charlie from the beginning and couldn’t wait to see their story play out. I loved the banter and chemistry between the two and it made their romance so much better. I didn’t want to put this book down and it made me remember just how much I love Lovelight Farms. I want to go there! If you are looking for a good romance with some spice, good banter and a happy ending this book is a good choice!

Which I was not expecting at all.
I’m going to be honest and say that this book was not memorable at all for me, even the things I liked about this book aren’t really prominent. The book started out so strong and I was really hoping for a solid 4 star read, but unfortunately as the story progressed I was just not impressed.

𐙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙙:
I loved the character building in this book I think we got to see the characters grow quite a bit compared to when we first met them in this book. I’m going to be honest and say I enjoyed Charlie’s character so much more than Nova unfortunately. Like honestly I cared more about Charlie and him taking over the farm for a bit and how he’d handle the change of work than I was about him and nova as a couple.
The writing in this book is very strong, it’s really well pieced together and I loved how easy it was to read and follow along.

The narrators were really lovely, I was able to follow along and hear everything perfectly.

𐙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚:
I have no idea why but I just felt no real connection between the characters and found myself bored with the story’s plot. Like I was almost waiting for the book to end.
As always I love books that make the characters seem like real people but honestly these main characters (except for Charlie) were unfortunately just not the ones for that for me.
The book is just a bit forgettable and doesn’t really stand out unfortunately

Oh Becs absolutely knocked this one out of the park. What a perfect ending to this series!!

If it wasn't obvious, I absolutely LOVED reading this! I ended up listening to this on audio and I thought the narration was truly fantastic. They brought the world to life and perfectly encompassed Nova and Charlie's character dynamics.

Nova and Charlie!!! My little beans!! I related heavily to both of them wayyy too much and I personally felt attacked many times while listening to this. I loved Charlie so so much. I really related to his journey of someone who is super happy go lucky but also incredibly lonely. I loved that he was able to find his found family in the end because he deserves all of it!!

My sweet black cat, Nova. Honestly, I kept picturing her as having black hair, but honestly I just loved her character. I really enjoyed the moments with her family and the specific relationships she had with each sibling.

The small town of Inglewild is the cherry on top for this story and this series. It's bursting with joy and color through the specificity that Becs has crafted within the town and its patrons.

I really need to go back and annotate every single page of this.

The ending truly made me so emo and I'm so sad to be saying goodbye to this series.

Just all of the stars out of five!!! So so good!

4.5 ⭐️

STELLAR. AMAZING. LOVED. charlie & nova were everything I expected / needed. they are absolutely perfect for each other in every sense of the word.

this is book 4 which follows Charlie (Stella’s half brother) & Nova (Beckett’s sister). they have a one night stand that quickly turns into a mutually beneficial no strings attached relationship, we all know how that goes. I loved watching them fumble their way through being a couple when neither of them even realized that they already were, everyone else was truly just waiting for them to realize it was more than that both imagined. the narration was very good. I really liked the voices & how they really
outlined the characters. I could feel Charlie’s humor through the narrator as well as Nova’s smart mouth & sweet & sassy remarks.

charlie & nova were so relatable & beautifully written characters. their insecurities were so real. charlie feeling like he’s never enough & always a burden, while nova felt like she never deserved the unconditional support from her loved ones, relatable to me especially. their character development was perfection, they both grew together while also realizing separately their importance. the banter, the chemistry, all they needed was too communicate just slightly better, but truly they weren’t their way there so beautifully. I loved every second of charlie & nova’s story. & being back in this town with all the side characters & that damn phone tree really just made my day. i’m so sad it’s over. 😢 this series was wholeheartedly amazing.

4.5⭐️ rounded up for NetGalley and Goodreads

Quick intro:
Nova is looking for some stress release in the midst of opening her tattoo studio. Charlie is in town for a month running his sister’s tree farm and Nova decides some business casual fun in the sheets with him is the perfect distraction.

Quick thoughts:
I loved loved loved being back in Inglewild. The characters and town and antics have my whole entire heart. Thank you, B.K. Borison, for creating such a perfect small town for us to escape to.

Charlie and Nova were such great MCs. They both had their own internal struggles that were relatable - the feelings of being too much, wanting to belong, fear of letting people down, unattainable personal expectations, can-do “I’m fine” attitudes, and struggles with asking for help. B.K. handled all of their insecurities delicately and it really endeared me to them. Watching them fall and open up to each other was just a joy! Along the way, Nova’s bubble wrapped heart softens and Charlie is freed from his performative and people pleasing mindset.

Read if you like small towns, phone trees, tattoos, he takes care of her, “let’s get it out of our systems,” texting, SPICE, tension, flirting, first person DUAL POV, opposites attract, friends with benefits, found family, and perfect 🤌🏼 old character cameos!

Thanks so much, Dreamscape Media, for an ALC of the audiobook in exchange for my honest thoughts. It was a delight to be able to listen to this book as well as read my physical copy. The narrator for Charlie was 10/10 no notes perfection, while the narrator for Nova didn’t **quite** do it for me. I preferred my time spent in my physical copy.

Conclusion in the Lovelight Farms series (#4)

Business Casual is the 4th in the Lovelight series and it was fun hearing from all of our previous friends from books 1-3 again.

This one was cute but still doesn’t reign supreme over the first book— Lovelight Farms. Charlie + Nova were adorable. I enjoyed watching their love unfold. Loved the moments were Nova was vulnerable and allowed Charlie to really be there for her.

I wanted to LOVE it but it was fine for me and not really memorable nor was it a story that always captivated me but that’s ok!

I love the Lovelight series, so much! Business Casual continues the love stories of the residents of Idlewild who I have fallen for in the first three books in the series. Nova, Beckett's sister, is opening a tattoo studio in town, and Charlie, Stella's half-brother, is in town for Stella and Luka's wedding. Charlie and Nova have a flirtatious friendship and when they decide to become friends with benefits in a business casual relationship sparks fly.

The whole town of Idlewild makes me want to pull up stakes and move to this wonderful, loving community. Charlie and Nova seem like the perfect couple, and the way Nova's family embraces him is heartwarming. The book (like all in the series) has quite a bit of spice, as well as a lot of humor and warmth.

This was my first Lovelight book in audio format, and I loved the narration by Pippa Jayne and Benjamin D. Walker. Readers who enjoy Sarah Ready's books will also like this series. Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio ARC of Business Casual by B.K. Borison. The opinions in this review are my own.

Yet another adorable book in the Lovelight series.
This one revolves around Nova, one of Beckett's sisters and Charlie, Stella's brother who lives in New York, but is in Inglewild very often. I really liked both of their characters. Charlie bought Stella and Luca a honeymoon in Italy and makes a plan with Beckett and Layla that he will take over Stella's job while she is gone. He obviously loves Inglewild, but feels like he needs to stay in New York to please his jerk father. I mean, he's even on the phone tree and get tres leches cake from Caleb's abuela! Nova is opening up her own tattoo shop and she is trying to do everything herself. At Stella and Luca's wedding, Nova proposes and no strings attached one night stand. While it's not that night, it does happen and then they try to convince themselves that that's all they needed or wanted. They really bring out the best in each other and really are good for one another.
The plot is basically just Nova and Charlie trying to hide whatever happens between them while trying to juggle the tattoo shop (Nova) and Stella's job (Charlie) as well as the upcoming harvest fest. While their relationship was a little unconventional, it was full of humor and really dug into what both of them really needed out of one another as well as themselves.
While the 2 narrators are the same for all the books (I think), I never felt like I was reading the same book or the same characters. I was always in the headspace of whatever character I was reading about and both the female and male narrators did a fantastic job.

This is my second book by this author and now I have to go back and listen to the whole series. Charlie’s sister works at Lovelight farms and Charlie fills in while she’s on her honeymoon. Nova is opening up her own tattoo studio and decides she needs one night of fun with Charlie. But one night is never enough with their connection. This book is wonderful! It’s set in a fantastic little descriptive (and funny) small town with small town characters that have the right amount of nosey for my satisfaction. The author did a fabulous job of building interesting back stories for Nova and Charlie, the heroine and hero. I enjoyed all the secondary characters too. This story has great conflict to keep me listening from start to finish. It was funny and heartwarming with all the feels! There’s was also great spicy scenes. The narrator did a great job of bringing this story to life. Pippa Jayne is one of the best!! Huge thanks to Dreamscape and Netgalley for allowing me to listen and review this book. Great summer read!!
