B.K. Borison can do no wrong with this series, in my opinion! This was such a cute read and easily one of my favorites in the series! If you love a cocky man, this is it. I love the way their friendship and relationship developed!

ARC Review:
My rating: 4✨
The characters were very likable, and I enjoyed seeing them together! I will definitely check out more books! I love the covers and the plot line was so good! I absolutely loved the tree phone 📞 and the small town vibes. This book had quite a bit of spice.

Charlie and Nova are a new favorite couple and I adored the time I spent with them while listening to the audiobook. Pippa Jayne and Benjamin D. Walker are fantastic as the narrators. The banter between the characters is first rate as well as their chemistry. Charlie is an amazing character and as an adult with ADHD I appreciated the sensitive approach to representation. This couple will steal your heart and their story is a delightful addition to the Lovelight Farms family.

Thank you Dreamscape Media for my gifted copy. All opinions are my own:
This series is such a perfect comfort read. I’ve adored every book, but this might be my favorite.
Charlie was everything! He may be the ultimate book boyfriend. From the moment, he calls to Nova on the dance floor, I was hooked. He was so gone for her and would’ve done anything for Nova. Their chemistry was amazing. I loved everything about this book. Seeing all of the other residents of Inglewild and their relationship updates made me so happy and even had me shedding a few tears There is something so special about this series, all of the characters, and how B.K. Borison writes.
Seeing Charlie realize he was important and that he could ask for what he needed made my heart burst.
I’m so sad to see this series end, but what an absolutely perfect ending!

Oh my heart, I sure do love heading back to Inglewild. This time around Charlie and Nova have been left off the phone tree. I wonder why that could be. 🤔
Nova Porter is focused on opening her new tattoo studio in her hometown. She needs it to be perfect, but with all that pressure she’s putting on herself, she needs some type of release.
Charlie Milford lives in New York, but he always seems to be in Inglewild. At this point, he’s basically a member of the town; he always seems to be around, helping or flirting or eating Caleb’s abuela’s food.
And Nova feels a spark with him. Maybe he can provide the release she’s looking for.
Charlie and Nova are just going to get it out of their systems. Really. One time.
Okay, maybe more than one time.
Maybe their arrangement should be something casual—something “business casual”.
You know what, friends? I adore them. Plain and simple. I adore Charlie. And I adore Nova. And I adore them together.
She sees “the person he is beneath everything else” and realizes she can be with him without giving up parts of herself.
And Charlie? Well, I just wanted to wrap him in a gigantic hug and tell him that “happiness [doesn’t have to be] distributed in increments”.
Add in some well-depicted, and well-integrated, ADHD rep—I see you hyperfocus, rejection sensitive dysphoria, lists of tasks, necessary organization, etc.—and migraine rep—bonus points for including ocular migraine symptoms and a believable portrayal of what that looks like from the outside—and I was an even happier camper. I think portrayals like that are important for developing empathy and human connection in readers as a takeaway after the end of a story.
(And, frankly, it’s also nice to feel seen.)
Anyway, I love this book; and I love these characters; and I love this series. This is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me.
I listened to an advance copy of the audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed Pippa Jayne and Benjamin D. Walker’s dual narration. They capture Nova’s and Charlie’s personalities well. One of my favorite parts—performance-wise—is the text messages later in the book. Since this is dual, not duet, narration, I thought one of the narrators may read all of them. I was pleasantly surprised when each narrator voiced their own character in those text messages.
I received an advance copy of the audiobook from Dreamscape Media. All review opinions are my own.

This was my first book by BK Borrison and it will not be my last.
I love friends to lovers! I will go through the other books and read them. I love the found family of this town,

When is the movie coming out!?!?! 5☆ I laughed, cried, blushed, kicked my feet in excitement. Charlie comes to town and runs into his friends sister, Nova, at a wedding. They have a flirty relationship, but Nova catches Charlie off guard when she asks him to go back to her house. He instantly regrets turning her down, but later tells her to ask again for a different answer. After their mutually agreed one night stand they both realize they want to continue with no strings attached. So their "business casual" relationship begins. Small town phone tree lol, tatoos, bakery, nosy, but loving family all support this amazing story. Spice level 4 🌶

Thank you @dreamscape_media for the audiobook. Business Casual is book 4 in the Lovelight series. Although it can be read as a standalone book, I highly recommend reading the previous three books so that you know who all the characters and famous couples of Lovelight Farms are and can experience Inglewild even better.
Business Casual is a dual POV story about Charlie & Nova. Charlie is Stella's half brother (Lovelight Farms) and Nova is Beckett's little sister (In the Weeds). Both of these characters are briefly mentioned in previous books, so I have been anticipating their opposites-attract story! Charlie is the NY guy with the suit and nice watch who loves to flirt and make people laugh. Nova is a tattoo-artist who is a little quieter, calmer, and grumpier than Charlie. I really appreciated the found family aspect of this story. Inglewild has been a great community in all of the Lovelight series books, but I felt like the feeling of family really came through in Business Casual. It's been a while since I read the previous books, but I did think this book was a little spicier than the others. Nova and Charlie decide to have a one-night stand to get it out of their system, but this is a romance book, so we know how that works. The way their steamy night together turns into a sweet and caring friendship makes for a wonderful read. As someone who suffers from migraines, I appreciated the peeks into Nova's life as a migraine girl. As much as she knows what to expect and how to handle them, there's something about when "he takes care of her" that I love in romance books! Oh and I also love reading about tattoos in books. It's fun to hear about the why behind a tattoo. This one has a super cute tattoo scene.
I'm not usually a fan of books that start with a one-night stand, but these two have been flirting with each other in previous books and it was immediately obvious that the "golden retriever" Charlie was already hooked on Nova.
I listened to the audiobook, but already ordered my physical copy to add to my shelf.

This may be my favorite out of the entire series.
I listened to the audio of this and I really enjoyed the MMC. The FMC is played by the same narrator that voiced Layla in the book before this and listening to them back to back made it very hard for me to switch to a new character. In fact I think the FMC is the same for all the books but the narrator for the MMC's changes and I find that so odd. Anyway, they both did a good job I just had that one thing.
I loved getting more of Charlie who is Stella's recently discovered Brother. I love how well he fits in the town having not grown up there and how much they all love him and treat him like family.
Nova was always intriguing to me maybe because she's a tattoo artist but this opposites attract book worked for her.
Charlie and Nova agree to a one night stand after Nova propositions him at Stella and Luka's wedding. But he makes her work for it. And they agree their attraction means they just need to get it out of their systems and then they can go back to just being friendly acquaintances. Even though it happens early on the payoff feels worth it.
Of course they don't get it out of their systems and since Charlie sent Luka and Stella on a month long honeymoon he has plenty of time to spend in the town getting her out of his system. :)
I'm glad there was no dramatic 5th act breakup. I also appreciated that the author finally gave someone a mental health diagnosis instead of just calling them "too much".
The epilogue was cute and no surprise babies.
The flirting was top notch, the banter was really cute. I liked it! I haven't really been obsessed with any of this series but it was really cute.

Great audiobook, enjoyed the narrators. I love Chalie and Nova so much! Their back and forth banter and flirting is great. They simply grew into this inseparable duo that I was cheering for completely. I am mad at myself for not picking up a book from this series before!

Holy crap this book was so good! This review is impossible to write because I loved the book so much I can't possibly express all my feelings well. I devoured it in a day. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing Charlie and Nova to life and I I fell hard for both of them. I adore Charlie and Nova's individual stories and as well as their romance. Charlie's struggles to feel included and to feel that he's deserving of love felt painfully real. The way he constantly deferred to Nova and made sure he was doing what she wanted made my heart melt. The brother's best friend trope was executed beautifully here! Sometimes it creates too much tension but it was mostly a non-issue in this story for which I was very grateful. I adore Charlie as a character. Characters that like to clown around but secretly have hidden depths are my favorite! I'm gonna be thinking about this book for a good long while. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up! Between the pining and the cozy small town vibes I had a fantastic time. I'm sad our time in Inglewood is over but damn what a delightful time it was 🥰

I'm absolutely obsessed with Charlie and Nova! It was so great to be back in Lovelight but also bittersweet since this is the last book in the series.
The banter and tension between Charlie and Nova feels so incredibly natural not forced at all. These two have such a unique flow and its impossible to not fall in love with them! I was obsessed with the way their relationship progressed and how they started out as people who flirted, to friends with benefits, to true lovers.
Although I love the actual content of the story, I do want to note that I feel the narrators were not the correct choice for Charlie and Nova. I think of these characters as quite lively, especially Charlie, and I don't think that always came across in the narration.

When Charlie sends his sister and her new husband on a honeymoon he is stuck working at Lovelight Farms until they are back. He has always been drawn to Nova Porter but she never seems to feel the same way; until she ends up showing him her cards. Charlie and Nova agree to one night of no strings attached fun to get it all out of their system.
This whole series makes my heart happy! I love the little community they have at Lovelight farms. It’s always so fun to see the side characters and where they are now. The chemistry between Charlie and Nova was undeniable and I loved how their relationship developed! Overall, another amazing book in the series!

Nova Porter has never been the love or relationship type but for some reason, she is extremely attracted to her friends, Charlie. She is in the middle of getting her tattoo studio set up in Inglewild and he seems to always be there to distract her when he comes to town to stay and take over his sisters Christmas tree farm while she is on her honeymoon. Nova thinks that maybe if she gets him out of her system then she can move on,,,when that one night stand leaves them both wanting more, they aren’t sure what to do and of course they don’t tell each other that they are interested in more.
I loooooved this story so much which is not shocking since I have loved the entire Lovelight Farms series. Charlie and Nova are truly perfect for each other and their chemistry throughout the story was great. There was plenty of spice in the last third of the book, but I never felt like it was too much or over the top. Small town romances are truly my favorite and this had no exception with the famous phone tree that new they were sneaking around the whole time.

This was my first book by this author and left me wanting to get my hands on the previous books in the series. Although I didn't know the characters from the previous books, I was able to follow the storyline as a standalone plot. The two leads, Charlie and Nova, had sizzling chemistry from the start which developed really naturally. The development of the romantic storyline was paced really well. The spice level was just right and helped move the story along. I particularly connected with Charlie, whose vulnerability and insecurities made me want to give him a hug - he was the perfect romantic lead, sexy and sweet at the same time. I enjoyed the fact that there wasn't a third act breakup or some unnecessary drama for drama's sake, just a really well written and engaging romance. The male narrator's cadence and intonation was unusual but highly addictive - I hope to come across him again.

🎧 Business Casual (Lovelight #4)
✍️ By B.K. Borison-I've read other books in series 3/4* reads
🎤Narrators: Pippa Jayne and Benjamin D. Walker
The narrators read the hero and heroine perfectly. I believe the voices fit the characters with standouts from Nova, Charlie, and Beckett(my favorite). Their voices were the most distinct, but I could easily tell the difference between all characters. The reading style brought the story to life and the pacing was flowed easily with the story. The narration and the author were in sync, and they fit together perfectly. The narrator paused and announced every time a new chapter came. The book had a table of contents which helped me follow along.

💭 Summary 💭Nova and Charlie have flirted around each other for years but Nova thinks if she can have a one night stand with him it will help her work-only mentality. Charlie has a life in New York as an investment banker, but becomes the temporary head of Lovelight Farms while sister Stella is on her honeymoon. Once isn't enough to scratch their itch for each other, so who will confess to wanting more first?
Heroine: Nova Porter
Hero: Charles "Charlie" Milford
Side cast: Stella(Charlie's sister) and Luca-just married, on honeymoon in Italy; Beckett-Nova's older brother; Vanessa and Harper-Nova's older sisters
Diverse cast of characters / character development : I loved all the background given on Charlie and his father's relationship. Nova had some serious talks with her siblings about her tattoo business and why she didn't believe in love. Charlie was such a great hero because he cared about her needs and he fell first.

🙏🏾 Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this ALC💚! I voluntarily give my honest review and all opinions expressed are my own.

Absolutely adored the end to ovelight. The performances in this were both fantastic - nova was the right level of strong and spunky, and I liked Charlie a lot. He portrayed the sadness and pining well.

A perfect ending to a wonderful series. Business Casual was such an enjoyable book. It’s warm, cozy, and everything I needed in the final installment of Lovelight. I fell completely in love with Charlie + Nova. They were each lovable in their own right but when you put them together it was explosive. I loved their relationship. With tension, fun banter, a small town setting, and found family vibes this book is a must read. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll full on swoon. I am forever obsessed with the whole Lovelight crew and of course the Inglewood phone tree.

What an ending to a series🥹 happy pub week to Business Casual! I absolutely loved the ending of this book.
I technically live not far from Lovelight Farms, and man do I really want to go there! While we might be in the height of summer, this one made me a little excited for fall with the talk of the fall festival 🍁🎃
I really loved Nova and Charlie. They really saw each other and their insecurities and helped the other overcome them. And the brother’s best friend here? LOVED it.
This one released yesterday and you definitely should read it! It is book 4 in the series (and final book😭) and I highly suggest reading them in order. Thank you netgalley and the publisher for an early copy of the audiobook. All opinions are my own.
