I liked the idea behind this book and it might be that if I knew the song that was mentioned it would be a higher rating.

The story was ok and the illustrations were also fine, but I have seen better illustrations in other books and it is quite a saturated market as there are a lot of children's books released every year and this one isn't one that stands out for me.

It is 3 stars from me for this one - I would still recommend people give the book as go as it is just my personal opinion and it may be one that they love and enjoy much more

I love that song, y'all!! When my sister told me that the band Cain was releasing a kids book, I requested it right away from Netgalley.

Y'all this is one of the best Christian kids books I've seen yet! Definitely a 5 star read!

All three siblings are cartoon characters in the shape of different fruits (yes fruits, and they are so cute!) and each sibling shows kids how to deal with disappointment and changes in a godly and gracious way.

Every other page features a few lyrics from Cain's hit song, "I'm So Blessed", and reminds both kids and adults that if we are children of God, we are so blessed!

I highly recommend this book. This would make the perfect kids gift for any occasion, and I'd definitely want it for my future kids library!

Unique illustrations and very colorful. Not the most unique storyline. References the song from CAIN.

I was so excited to read this book based on one of our favorite songs! Although the art didn't grab me right off the bat, I can see how it fits the vibe. Loved the way it went through how things can go wrong in different ways and each character still sings about how they are blessed. What a good reminder for kids!

I love this song from Cain but this book just didn't' work for me. It was hard to find a rhythm in reading it. And the story didn't flow as well as I wanted. The illustrations were amazing though and so unique in the world of picture books right now.

Maja Andersen’s 1970s-inspired illustrations are the best part of this Christian picture book, a companion to author CAIN’s song “I’m So Blessed.” If you’re a fan of CAIN’s Gospel sound (I had never heard of him), this is a perfect picture book for your kids. If not, this picture book contains the lyrics over and over of “this powerful tune” (CAIN’s words, not mine) and three uninspired tales of what appeared to be a bad day turning fun. There are plenty of better Christian picture books out there; get those.

When I saw this arc for preview I had to request it because it’s a book version of my kids favorite song. It’s so catchy and has a very positive message. The book takes the song and gives a few stories about how we can’t let our circumstances rule our day, we have the ability to turn them around. We loved singing along with the book every couple pages. It was a super cute interactive book - now the song will be stuck in our heads all day!

This is one of the most positive, uplifting children’s books I have ever read, teaching kids (and adults too) that no matter if it’s a good day or a bad day, God has still blessed them with so much. Colorful illustrations perfectly enhance this message. The Cain siblings have given us such a great song, made even better with this stunning book. Make sure you get a copy!

I absolutely LOVE this book. First of all the graphics are so vibrant, colorful and fun, very pleasing to the eye-Especially for young children. The story itself is uplifting and relatable. It shows that sometimes it is not "the best day", but it can be turned into one very quickly by changing ones mindset. I believe this book shares an important lesson for children as well as adults. I highly recommend "I'm So Blessed" for anyone with young children, but it's great for adults who love CAIN as well.
