This is an excellent series, and MacNeal brings WWII alive for the readers with her intriguing protagonist Maggie Hope, spy and mathematician. The stories have Maggie engaged with the highest profile characters in WWII, so it stretches the realm of probability, but it doesn't matter a bit because the writing is superb, the action is thrilling, and the stories are rich. MacNeal has done some deep research, which makes this series deeply rewarding.
