This book is an engineering mind, a builder, a high imagination, a tinkerer kid's dream. All the ways that someone could theoretically get to space while giving space statistics and some of the barrier and limitations to each option. The illustration graphics were interesting but a bit busy. Definitely a read for a kid who is always trying to build and imagine something more.

Thank you NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Wide Eyed Editions for this eCopy to review

12 Ways to Get a Ticket to Space is out of this world, full of fun facts about space travel and space career options. It was great to see a wide variety of options portrayed. The illustrations bring the facts to life which are explained in an easily accessible way

A must have for all budding astronauts and star gazers everywhere

This was a cute kids' book with lots of great information about space travel for kids. The art was also very fun. I'm not sure why, but I did find it a bit off-putting, however, that it opened with so much rich-people-space-tourism stuff, and the cost of these options for going to space, and especially the fact that it made these seem like options for space travel that are just as achievable and beneficial as going to space as an astronaut, scientist, engineer, etc., rather than wasteful and harmful to our planet.

Perfect for inspiring space-loving kids 7-11 to get interested in STEM, using 12 suggested paths for exploring space travel. The illustrations and design are stellar!

What a cool non-fiction title! I learned loads about space careers and rockets in this title. The illustrations help explain a lot of the technical terminology and give context.

A must add for libraries.

My son is 8 years old and wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. This book was perfect for him and he genuinely loved this book.

This is a very informative and engaging book about space travel. It explains the complexity of space travel without oversimplifying and still remains fun and easy to read. The illustrations are bright and colourful and really draw you in

I should start by saying that as soon as I see the Wide Eyed mark on a book, I immediately want it and have very high expectations. I'm not sure I've ever read anything of theirs and not loved it and this book is no different. It manages to explain some ridiculously complex ideas about space and space travel in a way that is so engaging and accessible, without feeling like anything is being oversimplified. The illustrations are what you can expect from this publisher: simple, bold, bright and eye-catching but without detracting from the text. This is witty and, again, easily accessible without talking down to its audience.

As a mother to a space obsessed 6 year old- we've read a LOT of books about space. With the dozens that we've read, this is a standout! I love the illustrations and my son loved learning about and imagining all the different ways he might go to space one day. I'd highly recommend this book to elementary aged lovers of space!

This space book is absolutely fantastic for you space enthusiasts!! Having one parent in our household that works for NASA we love finding space themed books to talk about space and the rockets we see launch. I love how this book talks about all the various ways of exploring space. It is current with some of the future projects currently in the works such as going to the moon again and mars in the future. I love the illustrations on the pages. They are stunning but also really bring the story to life. They kept my little one very interested and asking so many questions. The various facts on the pages was very fun.
