Beautiful illustrations go along with short stories. Most of the stories are 1-4 pages with plentiful, colorful pictures supplementing the text. Children will enjoy the images and the transportive stories. Adults will enjoy reading this on their own, using as a coffee table book, or sharing with a little one. It's the kind of book that encourages conversation and sharing one's own memories.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. I will purchase this for my library where I'm sure it'll do well.

This is a beautifully illustrated collection of short stories featuring 50 of the National Parks. This would be a great coffee table book for any age.

Thank you to NetGalley and Stephanie Pearson for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a nice addition to all the National Parks books that have been released in the last few years. The book shares stories of the early explorers to the various parks and some of the history behind them. These stories are particular helpful for some of the lesser known and visited parks. Everyone has heard stories about Yellowstone but maybe not the Channel Islands. This book is great for young and old if they enjoy the National Parks and if you visit a lot of the National Parks. Having some background information before you go is great. I think this is a book for everyone not just children.

I love the pictures in this book. The book is packed with interesting details about each park's history and wildlife. There are stories about people who explored, lived in, and cared about the parks. Excellent!

I would like to thank NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group- Wide Eyed Editions for the ARC.

Thank you for the ARC! We loved the beautiful illustrations and how much detailed information the author included on each park. Learned about many parks and animals we had not even heard of before. Would recommend this to children young and older that are interested in learning about animals or families looking to explore somewhere new.

This is a really lovely book. I liked all the illustrations and the stories about the National Parks. I have been to a few of them, but it's so nice to see these stories and read about more of them. Can't wait to purchase a copy.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC.

The set up of this book gives the feeling of a child-friendly coffee table book - filled with beautiful pictures and easy to read stories. The illustrations are wonderfully done and each National Park story is filled with interesting facts and pieces of the park’s history. The best part though is that it covers a wide range of National Parks - from the more commonly known parks, like Zion and The Great Smoky Mountains, to lesser known ones, like Isle Royale and Cuyahoga Valley. After finishing this book, I added quite a few more destinations to my must-see list! Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy for review!

A fabulous book for the whole family with engaging stories related to 50 U.S. national parks. I loved the clean design, colorful illustrations, and facts shared. Buying for my home library and as gifts for my park-loving family.

What a delightful book! First off, the cover is gorgeous and the artwork throughout is consistent and just really does suit each park so well. I love that the stories were not only diverse, but not ones I’ve heard a million times before. My family loves visiting national parks and many of these were new to me. I will likely be going out and purchasing a hard copy once this is published.

Thank you NetGalley and Stephanie Pearson for this advanced reader copy in exchange of my unbiased opinion.

I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent reading this book.
The earthy toned colour palette is the perfect companion for the exquisite illustrations inside. It’s educational in an engaging way with its simplistic but creative language for young readers while maintaining interesting information, important history and inclusivity. I loved how each page was centred on a different National Park for a variety of stories, and whether you enjoy learning about history, nature or culture, there is something for everyone. When published, I will definitely be picking up a copy to sit proudly on my shelf.

Thank you NetGalley for providing a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a beautiful book with a wide range of national parks. The background on each park varies from the human aspect to the nature aspect. The illustrations are very good. This would make a great coffee table book.

So my bucket list has gotten even longer! A cracking book for both adults and children. Beautiful bright engaging illustrations, inspiring and interesting stories and facts. This book has a bit of everything. I would give it 5 stars but I did slightly lose interest by the end.

This is a precious book to enjoy with your little. Not only will this fit in perfectly to my best friend’s National-Parks-themed nursery, but the stories inside are ones of wonder, perseverance, and foster a fondness for nature. The illustrations inside are wonderful as well- I love the almost folksy quality to them.

I loved this book - it brought back very happy memories of trips I've made to American National Parks as well as inspiring me to plan more travel.
I really liked the way there was a mix of natural history and human history stories for the locations and the illustrations were incredible.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for a copy of this book in exchange for honest feedback. I read a digital copy of this title on a tablet.

First and foremost, I think the highlight of this book is its beautiful imagery. The illustrations resemble watercolor painting style, and they're very evocative and have a strong resemblance to the essence of each park. I really liked the range of included parks and landmarks. There are 63 parks and 50 were represented with either 1-2 pages of image and a few paragraphs of text. I think this book would be good for advanced elementary to middle grade readers. The images are beautiful! The writing style is clear and straightforward, text doesn't over complicate the pages. Would be great for boys and girls, classrooms, science and geography classes, etc. I can recommend for this reason!

I LOVE National Parks. When I taught Fifth Grade I would have the students do projects on National Parks instead of the same state project other teachers focused on. This book is an engaging way to teach children about parks but it is not solely for them. I was intrigued by this book. The illustrations are utterly charming and the writing is lyrical.

I cannot wait to add this to my school library but I also think it would be a great addition to my home library. I wish all 63 parks were included but I understand page constraints.

Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group- Wide Eyed Editions and Net Galley for the eARC!
