Ok for real, this book you guys!! Such beautiful writing. A beautiful setting. It is ANGSTY and tension filled and so delicious. There are so many secrets and I absolutely could not guess what was coming. The big reveal scene had my jaw on the floor. And the ending… 😅

Can we please get a little follow up??? My heart. 😭 I’m so in love with “bad boy” Theo and sweet Maggie.

If you want a romance that will make you cry, this is the one for you. It was fantastic.

I really needed more from this book. The MCs were very inconsistent between the two POVs. The way they spoke to each other was very blunt and awkward and unrealistic. It felt like a poorly translated foreign soap opera. I was really excited from reading the description, but it just did not deliver.

this one was a long but amazing read. the chapters are fast and alternate. anyone would love this story

This was a great romance novel, it had that element that I was looking for from the description. The overall feel worked with the genre and enjoyed the angst element of this story, The characters had that feel that I wanted and enjoyed the way the characters were in the genre. Cameron Capello has a great writing style and I wanted to read more from the author.

This book would probably be your cup of tea if you like slow burn contemporary romance, secrets, tension, close proximity and brothers best friend tropes, and who did this to you vibes.

I loved the vibes in this book, with the slow burn, and being forced into close proximity for the first time in years. The fact that they dealt with traumas and secrets made the book more interesting and believable and kept me captivated from the beginning.

I'll Look for You Everywhere is a drama filled romance with Italy as the backdrop.

This reminded me a lot of After movie a lot. I felt it had very similar things like bad boy/good girl, college aged main characters, a lot of family drama and a romance that is passionate yet has a lot of miscommunication. While I enjoyed the family drama and the setting, I had a hard time getting into the romance. I found the romance completely based on sex and not much beyond that. I did not like Theo at all. He reminded me of a lot Holden from After and I could not stand that character either. He's just a jerk to the heroine and treats her like garbage. I do not find this sexy or romantic.

I just had a hard time getting into this one. The romance just wasn't there for me but if you like family dramas I would recommend this one!

Even though I loved the setting of the book, the love story of Theo and Magdalen was hard to read. They both had traumatic experiences in their lives that made it difficult to come together as a couple and maybe partially due to this, he kept hurting her and leaving her. I do believe they loved each other though. I did like how although the ending wasn't what I was expecting (I had to reread the last few chapters a few times because I was shocked), I like to believe that the last couple lines could mean there was hope for their relationship yet.

Magdalen “Maggie” Savoy and Theo Sinclair are your modern day Romeo and Juliet. The Savoys and Sinclairs are neighbors and family friends for decades in the small town of Chivasso in Italy and the secrets of both families past carried by Theo and Magdalen sent them running and a wedding forces them to confront the past all summer long. I’ll look for you everywhere is a slow burn romance with the best friend’s brother/sister trope that the truth will hopefully set Magdalen and Theo free.

I did enjoy the story, but felt that there were too many irrelevant side plots and when the truth came out, there wasn’t enough outcry by the FMC and MMC to confront their problems and heal their families and themselves. I will say that the writing of the character traits of Maggie and Theo were a bit wonky at times. I do suggest putting a trigger warning for child abuse.

This book is full of secrets and facades, so you have no idea what is real and what’s going on, and if there’s an unreliable narrator or not. It was a bit much going on at times so it was hard to figure out what was happening. I think it was okay
