This is a cute book to be given to a teacher. Some of the pages made me smile. To be honest, though, as an educator, I would read through it once and then it would sit on my shelf. I felt like it was a little simplistic to truly elicit any feelings if it was given as gift. It would almost be better used as a mini lesson for a fun type of writing assignment with younger kids. I do love the cover.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me.

This book was very cute, and easy to read.A perfect gift for a teacher on teacher appreciation day. The colors were vibrant and perfect for early elementary readers. Each school supply item was used as a play on words. I would recommend this for students and teachers grades 2 and lower.

I received an electronic ARC from SOURCEBOOKS Kids through NetGalley.
A charming book to give to teachers. Readers see puns on each page spread that share how special the teacher is to the student. This could be a cute class gift or a fun present from an individual student. The vibrant colors capture the joy of the relationship between teachers and their students.

It’s a cute book and I’m sure some will be raving about it and recommending it I really like it and will also recommend

This feels like a money grab. The author uses wordplay such as shelf and book and latte to make this rhyming story work. Instead of working, it’s just annoying. I can’t espresso myself. It’s like bad Ray done poetry in a TJ Maxx book. It needs to be left on the shelf.

Super sweet book to thank a teach for all they do. Teach you how to do so many things each and every day!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the great arc.

What a cute and splendid way for young kids to say thank you for being my teacher. Not to mention the illustrations are also adorable! Not only did my kiddos enjoy reading this book, but so did I as a preschool teacher myself. ‘Thanks a Latte for Being My Teacher’ by Rose Rossner is a fun and different way for any kids in PreK through 2nd grade to gift their teacher in appreciation for all they do. ❤️
“Thank you NetGalley, Sourcebook Kids, and Rose Rossner for an eARC copy of ‘Thanks a Lattw for Being My Teacher’!

Isn’t the cover the cutest? 🥰 I don’t know an elementary or pre k teacher who wouldn’t smile at the gift. As for the story, it’s your typical coffee-table-type. Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS kids for the ARC.

I want to start by thanking the publisher and author for letting me read an advance copy of this book. I think this is absolutely adorable and I will be purchasing for my child’s teachers!

Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. These opinions are completely my own.
I think the appreciation for this book would really depend on the teacher. I thought it was cute, but I could already see my coworkers eye twitching. The illustrations are cute no matter what you opinion of the literary content is.

This book is a cute idea to say thank you to a teacher. Perhaps as a gift from the entire class? I can’t say it would have much use other than a one time read as it sort of reads like a thank you card rather than something that could be added to a class library.
Thank you to NetGalley and sourcebook kids for allowing me to review this book.

I think that this is a really sweet book for kids to show their appreciation for their teachers, who are so, so important. However, there is one note that I believe is good to include in this review. I definitely agree with the author that teachers should be thanked for their work. Although, the author should also be careful of the student-teacher relationship line. There are some pages that felt like they went over that line, or toed it a little too much. For example, page 25. Teachers and students should really only have interactions related to or at school, and they should not "always stay in touch". Besides a few questionable pages, this book was clever and fun! Including at least one pun on each page was a smart idea made by the author, as it makes this book engaging for young readers, and it might even inspire them to become master pun-makers themselves. Lastly, I loved how cute all of the illustrations were, and they really helped to deliver the joyful and sweet tone of the whole book.

This would be such a sweet teachers gift from a student, and encourages teacher appreciation with sweet little illustrated treats! Adorable!

Thanks a Latte for Being My Teacher! reads as a long form greeting card that may work best as a class gift, rather an an individual gift. The prose are very simple and sweet and go along with matching illustrations.
Thanks to Sourcebooks Kids and NetGalley for an eARC of this book for an honest review.
