I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

I couldn't get through this book fast enough. It was warm and swoony and I couldn't get enough! I wanted to hurry through this book but in the same breath I wanted to take it slow to make the story last longer. Blake and Iz FOREVER! This story is everything!

I thought the premise of Accidentally Amy was cute in that Izzy is running late to work on her first day of a new job, so she takes someone else's PSL. She spills it on another patron who turns out to be her boss, Blake. I have enjoyed some of Lynn Painter's other books so I thought I'd like this one. Unfortunately our heroine has a major case of "not like other girls" syndrome which is a real turn off for me. The writing was quite cringy as well. "Omigawddd", "Mr. Chest", etc. For a YA romance that'd be more typical, but for an adult romance I do expect the bar to be a bit higher.

Brilliant re-write. Everything I loved from the indie version was still here, and all the things I wished the indie was are here too!! This story is so fun. It's the book equivalent of a PSL and just as sweet.

This was a quick read, and it was very romance-forward. It felt light on the plot, which makes sense with it originally being released as a serial. The relationship carried this book through, but not a lot else happened. I loved the cats (there’s not enough cats in romance novels!) and Izzy and Blake were mostly sweet together, other than the few super cringey scenes at the beginning where they were at work and he was her boss. Spice level here was high.
Thank you to the publisher - I received a complimentary eARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Lynn knows how to write fun rom coms, I breezed through this quickly and enjoyed the ride. I will say this wasn’t her most memorable work, but it was still quite fun and I loved how the main pairing worked.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Izzy and Blake. They meet at a coffee shop one morning. Izzy picks up somebody else coffee because she is in a hurry. She runs into Blake and spills her coffee. Blake thinks her name is Amy after Izzy picks up Amy’s coffee. Izzy has a new job, it just happens to be where Blake works. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

This was a sweet book. Being in a hurry to get to work, Izzy grabs the coffee meant for "Amy". She bumps into a guy who and spills her coffee all over him. Obviously he thinks her name is Amy. Obviously sparks fly, and we have our meet cute. Unknowing to Izzy, Blake, turns out to be her new boss.
I enjoyed reading about the progression of their "friendship". It was an easy book to read and left me satisfied.

This book was a fun and easy read! I liked the chemistry between Isabella and Blake, and their banter had me hooked from the start. One thing I really appreciated was that every time there was a miscommunication, it got resolved quickly—no dragging out unnecessary drama, which was such a relief.
That being said… if freaking Isabella had just answered her damn phone, the miscommunication at the end could’ve been avoided entirely! That part was a little annoying, but thankfully, it didn’t overshadow the entire book for me. And can we talk about Blake? Because WOW. He wasn’t afraid to show up for Isabella, even when he knew it was leading into a grey area with work and ethics. I loved how he put in the effort time and time again—major green flag.

This was a really sweet "Meet Cute" story, I loved both main characters and thought they we so well developed. If you liked the " The Hating Game" you will love this story. This was a funny Rom Com I could picture as a movie. The story was well paced, with all the feelings, laughter and will having you wanting to hang out at coffee shops.
Amy is not her name but in hurry to get to her new job, when no one comes to get the Amy coffee Isabella takes the coffee and slams into this incredible chest. It was one of those stories, she dreams of telling her kids one day, but all goes haywire when that beautiful chest belongs to her new boss Blake Phillips. She is at a loss for words, and he is grumpy and complicated, and so upset she lied about her name. What was the big deal anyway. But, when the two become friends, because well he is her boss, feelings start and they must decide if their career is worth the risk to take their feelings to the next level.
Thank you to NetGalley and Lynn Kirkle for copy of this book for my honest review.

Witty, swoony, and full of Painter’s signature charm! The banter is top-notch, the romance is adorable, and every page is packed with fun.

As much as I adore Lynn Painter, I just find that her adult oriented books are just not for me. But alas that will never stop me from wanting to read a Lynn Painter book in hopes that one day I will truly love her adult books.
Accidentally Amy, is a cute story. You follow Izzy on her adventure into a new workforce, and just on her first day she runs into, literally, her Mr.Perfect. So spilling her coffee on him couldn’t possibly be the worst thing right? Wrong, he also thinks her name is Amy cuz she steals someone else’s drink just so she wouldn’t be late to her first day of work. And to even make matters worse Mr. Perfect, now known as Blake is also one of her bosses - and is very confused why her name isn’t Amy. Right from the get go it’s just a lump sum of miscommunication. But alas Izzy and Blake form a ‘friendship’ as a ‘relationship’ is not possible with Blake being her boss. Their friendship is very cute and continues to grow, but Blake is Izzy’s boss and they can’t be anything more than friends while they work together. But somehow things work out, but only for a hot second, then we toss in a bit of a twist and turn and suddenly we’ve got more lack of communication and miscommunication going on. Now their entire friendship is on the line, will they be able to work through all their issues and really be able to figure out where and how their relationship play out.
I’ve said it before and not even just for Lynn Painter books, but just as a whole the lack of communication/miscommunication trope is one of my least favourite romance tropes, so this one just really wasn’t for me. It is still a super quick read, and an enjoyable romance. So if this trope is for you then read on, you will very much love and enjoy the story.
As always, a huge thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Berkley for the gifted copy.
This is probably my least favorite book by this author so far, but it was still really fun to read! It combines a bunch of well loved tropes (meet cute, office romance, grumpy/sunshine, friends to lovers) and has Painter's typical hilarious banter. It just didn't suck me in the way her books usually do, and I never really connected with the characters.
Izzy's housemates, especially her cousin and his random games, were so funny. I liked her cat getting out, and the fact that Blake had cats too and named them for the places he found them cracked me up.
My biggest question, and this is coming from someone that LOVES pizza, is how much pizza can a person really eat? It's like every freakin' meal was PIZZA!!! I got tired of it just reading about it.
Still a 3.5, looking forward to more from this author as always!

I have never read anything by this author, but I will be looking out for other books they write in the future. I really enjoyed the story as well as the pacing of the story.

I’ll say 3.5 stars because it was almost 4 stars until she took garbage out of the trash and washed it??? It was cute, but some of the ‘cuteness’ was a bit too much for me. I didn't think her taking all of the things he brought her out of the trash was necessary to show how she felt. There were a few other moments like that that seemed a bit TOO overboard in trying to be cute, but I did enjoy the relationship and how it progressed. I liked that the story flipped back and forth between the two POVs, because it did add to the story and give some insight into where each character was coming from, and it felt like two distinct voices. At first I thought the name miscommunication was going to drag on, and I'm so glad it didn't. I did find his initial reaction to her 'lying' about being Amy to be incredibly over-the-top, even for someone who had been lied to before, but I was glad that wasn't a drawn-out conflict and he was willing to change his opinion based on her actual actions and not just one misunderstanding. I liked that they moved on from that somewhat quickly, and that the true conflict came from their positions at work and the restructuring of the company. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a romcom where the characters have substance and the reader understands why they are drawn to each other.

I will read literally anything and everything Lynn Painter writes because her writing is full of wit and charm. Accidentally Amy was just the same with the most adorable meet cute. The chemistry between these main characters was incredibly wholesome and it was a fun read!

Such a sweet and lighthearted romance with the sweetest meet cute only everyone dreams of! I loved their chemistry together, it felt very natural and believable. Sometimes with romance I don't really buy their interest as much.

These little cheesy romance books can be hit or miss for me, usually depending on my mood. I adored Lynn Painter's sweet romance featuring Izzy and Blake! These two characters have perfect chemistry and will leave you cheering for them. Izzy is a lovable, quirky heroine who steals the show with her charm, while Blake is the dreamy love interest that every reader hopes to find in real life. The meet-cute at Starbucks is adorable, and the story has all the makings of a classic rom-com.
While some readers may find it a bit cliché or cheesy, I enjoyed this fluffy read for its lighthearted and feel-good moments. Painter's writing captures the sweet and tender aspects of romance, making it perfect for a quick pick-me-up or a lazy afternoon read. If you're looking for a fun and cute story with minimal angst, this book is a great choice.

I usually love Painter's books and can say that I liked this one. A bit similar to another book at the begiinning with the mixed up names due to the coffee-stealing, but then off on its own trajectory. I liked Izzy and Blake for the most part though Izzy is pretty much a mess throughout. I would recommend for a light beach read, but pretty heavy on ditz instead of substance. Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for the early access in exchange for my honest opinion.

Loved this sweet romance by Lynn Painter! Izzy and Blake are adorable characters with perfect chemistry created by Painter.
My only regret is I wanted more! Izzy is a quirky, 'can't help but love' character that you will find yourself cheering for! Blake is a dreamboat who everyone hopes to bump into with their PSL! Great story, great trope.
