Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. These opinions are completely my own

Full disclosure , I don't know sports. However I strongly feel that this is a fun gift for any sports lover. It has the stats to support their picks and I respect that.

I love Mike Greenberg, and I loved Got Your Number. However, I felt like this could have been a blog post. I will read more of his books, but probably won't recommend this one.

From the excerpt I received to look at, Got Your Answers will be an incredibly fun book that takes the time to answer the 100 Greatest Sports questions of our time. The lists themselves were intriguing and the answers albeit very brief were entertaining. I'm very much looking forward to the whole thing and will collect my thoughts on the whole thing once it's released in September.

Special Thanks to Hyperion Avenue and Netgalley for the digital ARC featuring excerpts from the book. This was given to me for an honest review.

The other gives his top 10 to commonly asked sports questions. I enjoyed that he used personal experiences as to why he chose the answers he did because it feels more personal and thought out. I also enjoyed that the answers were only a paragraph long instead of multiple pages because it made the reading go faster and it felt less overwhelming.

Thank you, Simon & Schuster, for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I just “finished” The 100 Greatest Sports Arguments Settled, by Mike Greenberg & Paul Hembekides.

I am very disappointed in this review copy. It’s only a partial version of the book, with only nine of the 100 arguments included. I have reviewed more than 50 books since joining NetGalley in the middle of May and I’ve never seen one so incomplete. It’s understandable when a review copy doesn’t have items such as a foreword or acknowledgments, but I’m never had one that only contained a fraction of the book’s actual contents.

But, I was not at all impressed with what I saw in this book. The writeups were as superficial as they come. While I barely saw much of the book, from what I did see, I wasn’t missing anything by not having the remaining 91% of the content.

I give this book an F. Goodreads and NetGalley require grades on a 1-5 star system. In my personal conversion system, an F equates to 1 star. (A or A+: 5 stars, B+: 4 stars, B: 3 stars, C: 2 stars, D or F: 1 star).
