Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. These opinions are completely my own.

I enjoyed the exercises at the end of each question, but I found the information a bit beyond my ability to comprehend at the moment . I did however learn that the memory issues I had when my Dog passed is normal.

I just so happened to open this book at the exact time of my grandmother's death. It serves as a balm to the soul and is particularly helpful if you've never been through the grieving process. As an unfortunate 'seasoned griever', I still found this book incredibly helpful, balanced in both practical advice and knowledge for those of us in the grieving process. To anyone looking to pick up this title, you aren't alone in your grief and I hope you find this book as soothing as I did in your time of need.

Thankfully not a book I need at this current time but defiantly one to have on the bookshelf when needed. A sensible approach to coping with loss and grief. Written with comfort and reassurance in mind

I loved this book. I thought it was really helpful about how to handle grief. I even liked how the author gave tips and advice for those that are helping someone through grief. I think it really helped me. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

I've read Jarvis's other work and found it to be raw and authentic. This new title was a helpful resource for me since I recently lost my dad. Like she says, this is the book you want to have in your arsenal for when grief happens. I have so many tidbits that I highlighted. Sentences resonated with my exact feelings. I appreciate all the work Jarvis has put into this book. Everyone should have a copy. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
