This is such a playful read for the kids when they are just at the right age to teach them basic counting. The book is more about the Easter Holidays, perfect to mingle with friends and family, stay out in midst of our own community.

The illustration is just gorgeous!

Precious Moments are so nostalgic for me. They transport me right back to the 1990s and my very own Precious Moments Bible. So when I saw this on Netgalley I had to read it! A cute 10 to 1 countdown book with the iconic Precious Moments illustrations. It does actually include the full message of the gospel within it's short pages. A great Easter read that covers numbers, colors, animal and plant identification, and the gospel message!

With the beautiful Precious Moments illustrations, comes this sweet Easter board book for young children. The text is written in a rhythmic rhyming format and even presents the Gospel in a simple manner for little ones - “Three wood crosses side by side, remind us of why Jesus died. Jesus saved us from our sin, so we can live in heaven with Him.”

Interactive books such as this can help toddlers connect and develop a love of books and reading. First there are several symbols of Easter and new life to count including ten lambs, nine Easter lilies, eight bunnies, seven butterflies, six Easter eggs, and five chicks. Following these are items from the Easter story such as four palm branches, three crosses, two angels and One Jesus forever! Each item offers great discussion opportunities with how they all relate to the story of Easter.

Many of the items are seen on other pages and can be used to encourage counting them again, such as asking how many butterflies or lilies they see now. You can also easily use this little book to point out and learn basic colors.

Precious Moments: Countdown to Easter is an adorable counting book that presents the Easter story in a simplified manner for toddlers and preschool age children. The illustrations are beautiful and engaging and it provides little readers the opportunity to practice their counting on each page. This book is short and sweet while still making sure to present the Gospel message. I would recommend this book to parents of toddlers and preschoolers. It would also make a great read aloud for a Sunday School class.

This is a lovely board book story to prepare all of my children countdown to Easter. The book is colorful and I like to read it loudly to your children. This is definitely must read book to your children

My mom buys my kids precious moments every year and I just absolutely love this precious book! The pictures were darling, and the story was adorable. My kids loved it
