United We Drink was a quick and fun read. The cocktail recipes seem mercifully simple so as not to be forced into buying many different things per drink and the pictures were gorgeous. It would have benefitted with a little more detail regarding each president's life and the second quote from Barak Obama in place of that OTHER president was duly noted. A great gift for history or political buffs in your life.

However, there are a few Presidents that either never drank or were sober. I think it would have been more appropriate to honor those presidents with a non-alcoholic drink. But it seems honoring the president’s wasn’t high on the list.

What a fun idea! I grabbed a review copy to see if I wanted to buy a physical for my dad who is a huge politics nerd, happy to report I think I will. It would make such a fun gift, or a fun addition to your alcohol cart in an election year or for the 4th! The drinks seemed fairly simple as well, and had some interesting Presdential spins on classics.

This is a lovely cocktail book with a cocktail dedicated to all former and current presidents. With facts and tidbits of history, it explains why each cocktail is assigned as it was and makes for an entertaining and creative book.

So many cocktail recipes! Each one inspired by US Presidents. I’m very much looking forward to trying quite a few of them out! Cheers!

This book is perfect for a presidential election year. We had so much fun trying different beverages and figuring out the connections to the presidents. We don't normally keep too many drink ingredients at home, but we discovered a few new favorite cocktails from this book. The combinations were unique and pretty tasty. I've got a few more bookmarked for Election Day and the weeks leading up to it.

This would be a great gift for any history buff or anyone who likes to mix up something fun behind the bar.

I didn't really know what to think of United We Drink when I got it from NetGalley, but I have to say that I was very impressed. It's a fun idea to gather a collection of beverages based on each of our presidents - even if some of them seemed to be a stretch to represent the particular president - and I enjoyed learning a quick fact about the presidents and imagining what they might have thought of this endeavor. The photos in the book are beautiful and I definitely marked a few others to try based on the photos alone!

I made a few drinks from this book just based on ingredients I have at home & each was fantastic. Particularly favorites are the Second-in-Command Spritz (why didn't it ever occur to me to add brandy to prosecco, it's delicious!) and the Grand Old Partini, which for our purposes we are just going to call the Partini (sorry, not sorry).

This would be a fun addition to anyone's bar.

This is a delightful book about presidentially themed libations. Complete with lovely photos and interesting anecdotes, this is a welcome addition to the book shelves of both bartenders and historians alike.

"United We Drink" by Harper Celebrate is a lively and entertaining book, even for someone like me who isn’t much of a drinker. The variety of drink recipes and fun, festive ideas make it a great conversation starter, perfect for exploring with friends. Each page offers something new and exciting, making it a delightful experience whether you're mixing up a cocktail or just enjoying the creative concepts together. It’s a great book to have on hand for social gatherings, adding a touch of fun to any occasion!

I am always open to trying new types of cocktails and this cocktail recipe cookbook definitely hits the spot! With a little intro about each president along with the cocktail recipes makes for a fun time. Definitely some find some fun drinks to try!

Each drink recipe was super quick and easy to follow, making them perfect for anyone to whip up on their own, and there's plenty of room to get creative and add a personal touch. I particularly loved the short bios and quotes for each president—they added a nice touch! If you're hosting an election watch night, these drinks would be a fun way to keep the conversation flowing while uncovering some interesting history. How about a future edition featuring drinks inspired by the First Ladies?
