Such a cute and funny book! This book, through both the writing style and the illustrations, will have kids giggling out loud throughout the entire story. The illustrations were so simple, but were still so effective in both telling the story and giving the story a whimsical (and kind of quirky) tone, perfect for young readers. As for the story, it flowed very nicely and the ending teaches kids about making good compromises by using some problem-solving skills, just like the bear in this story did. I have zero doubt that this book will be a hit, and a fast favorite, among little ones.

I love these guys. Only a very few illustrated book series get the characters exactly right, and consistently exactly right. This one does. The story is all well and good and heartwarmy and whatnot, which is great, but I just like to look at these three goofs and relax. Much cheaper than therapy.

OKAY! Christmas book of the season! A great option for those visiting Canada and want to get a themed picture book. Bear, Moose and Beaver are celebrating the holiday season, getting everything ready and suddenly they realize that they have forgotten the tree!! OH NO! What are they going to do! The group sleds off to find the perfect tree, but Bear thinks that it is just too perfect to chop down. A brawl ensues, and Bear with his massive strength ties the others to the tree so that Beaver cannot chomp the tree down. Bear realizes he might have ruined the celebration, and in a very Grinch-y way packs up the holiday cheer and sets it up around the perfect tree.

This is a great bedtime/Christmas morning read and perfect for ages 3-6.
