This was a cute read, tragic, emotional, and a bit ditsy in spaces to me but overall ... a good book.

Calliope is a reincarnated goddess who has cursed a family of gods for killing her lover. The punishment laid out by her former self was to have all the key players relive this moment. No one has a life outside of this defined moment in time.

I love that the story is set in real-time, in a place where after reading this story you say, " I want to plan a trip to go check this place out!"

The ending was nice, I was not left feeling like the story was unfinished. It was wrapped up quite nicely.

Calliope Wakes is such an amazing read. I had the time of my life reading this book. I give it 4 stars because I loved how the author created the vibe of this book. The characters are super interesting too.
