Loved reading the highly recommended romance story. When Jamie broke things off with Evie, Evie's heart was broken, and six months later, Jamie's back in town. Read the wonderfully written and a must read riveting love story.

I'd Never Date My Best Friend's Brother is a wonderful addition to the Bake My Day With Love Series. This sweet romance follows the story of a maid of honor and the best man, who just so happens to be her best friend's brother and her own past heartbreak. The book is full of endearing moments, witty banter, and a delightful romance that builds as the story progresses. I loved reading it for its engaging characters and light-hearted plot, which provided the perfect escape into a world of love and laughter.

This was so freaking cuteeee. It was a lighthearted, christmas holiday themed, second chance romance that ticked all the boxes. I can’t complain, this book was a really really quick read that left a smile on my face. It’s a book that will make you think about it in the moments and days to come, but it’s a great pick-me-up and in the moment read. I’d give it a 3.75.

This one did take me a little time to get into it. I did enjoy it and the characters did have a good connection but something was lacking for me. There was no steam in this story and I do think that adds some level to the book. It is a very closed door romance. So if that is what you prefer you won't be disappointed in this. Once I did get into the story it moved along well.

I’d never date my brothers best friend was a cheesy hallmark style second chance romance story

The concept I was quite hopeful for at a first glance but as I continued to read the story just fell flat for me. Set in Willow Falls a small village where everyone knows everyones business Evie reunited with ex Jamie who is home for his sisters wedding to Evie’s brother. Reuniting sparks old flames between the two alongside the help of their sibling matchmakers. A slight issue I encountered reading this book was that I hadn’t noticed it was book 3 of a trilogy, which majority of the time isn’t a problem but in this book I found it detrimental to the story building. With this the characters felt undeveloped and rather 2D (possibly as they could’ve been established in the 2 previous books) and I found a vast amount of this story to be extremely unrealistic giving a hallmark movie feel. The ugly sweater party and the fact their families were so desperate for them to kiss felt quite unnatural and forced but possibly could be an American concept I’m not accustomed to. At times the writing felt as though the author was rushing to finish the story making me believe had this book been maybe 200 pages longer I would’ve not committed to finishing. Something I did enjoy in this book was the dual point of view between Evie and Jamie as it gave a decent insight into how they both were feeling about situations. I do think this would be a good starter book for maybe a teenager looking to get into romance as it is rather fluffy and not as sex oriented as other books. Overall personally I didn’t love this book but appreciated the concept although not executed the way I was hoping for.

Cute romantic comedy where both leads where refreshingly clear with each other throughout. Steam level zero which for some will be great but for me was a bit lacking.

Thank you NetGalley!

Evie and Jamie had a connection- and then he left. When Jamie left home to train for his job, he left Evie heartbroken. When he comes home 6 months later, the Evie he knew isn’t there anymore. As Evie and Jamie work on their siblings wedding together, they grow closer and fall back into old habits.

Personally, this book just wasn’t for me. I’m not the girl to enjoy the “cutesy boo baby awwww puppy eyes” stuff, and this book had a whole lot of it. It was very, very wholesome, and I liked that there was no added spice or drama! The beginning and middle was definitely worth the read, but near 75% I was starting to get the ick. However, I really loved the Christmas atmosphere and all the holiday spirit!!!

2.5🌟

This was just not good.
Tropes:
●Brother's best friend
●Best friend's brother
●Wedding environment
●Small town
●Second chance
●Closed door

I couldn't connect to a single character and by halfway point i had given up on the plot and characters of this book.
I feel like they didn't have any depth. The entire story felt a little too much on surface level.

I am grateful for receiving this arc but it just wasn't something i personally enjoyed.

I’d Never Date my Best Friend’s Brother is about two people, Evie and Jamie, that were more than friends before Jamie broke Evie’s heart by leaving unexpectedly. Now Jamie is back because Evie’s brother (Jamie’s best friend) is getting married. Jamie is trying to patch things up with Evie so they can have their own happily ever after.
It was not my favorite novel as it never delved below the surface. There was not much character development and I struggled to imagine the characters as I was reading the book.

I read this one in a day! Such an easy read and great for a romantic like myself. The story wasn’t anything too complex but just a nice book. I’d definitely read another from the author.

This book is the third part in the "Bake my day with love" but it can be read as a stand-alone. I haven't read the other books and had no problem figuring out who was who.
The book tells the story of Evie and Jamie. They have forever bern friends and then their relationship seemed to develop but Jamie left town for work and "broke up" with Evie (even though it seems they never had a date, let alone a kiss). She hasn't heard from him since but now he is back and he is sure that Evie is the one for him. He just has to "win her back" first...
Honestly the story just wasn't for me. The main characters could as well have been teenagers with a first crush with the amount of overthinking and meddling taking place. They always hang out with their families and are playing charades and board-games. And when they finally kiss for the first time they follow up with "I love you"s. It was just too sweet and wholesome for me. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but it never did.

This short romcom has my heart. It’s a second chance romance. No spice, just some kissing, but still really good.

When Jamie breaks it off with Evie because he has to move for work, she is heartbroken and angry. But when he comes back for his sisters’ and best friend’s wedding, their old flame sparks back up. She doesn’t want to let him in, because she is afraid to get hurt again. But he promises her that she won’t get hurt, so she gives him a chance.

This was such a cozy read! It will be perfect to read at Christmas!

Best friends brother, brothers best friend, friends to lovers, found family, and second chance. This book had it all!

Evie, the heroine was very relatable and acted exactly how I would have. She was protective of her family and generally a ray of sunshine.

Jamie, the hero, was delightful. He knew he messed up and instead of denying his feelings, he groveled!!

"I can't help fall in love with you more everyday. I am in love with you,Evelyn O’Connell. I think I always have been. I know I have been a complete fool but I promise I will make it up to you. “

I need this in paperback so I can put it out for Christmas!

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an early copy of this book.

Thank you NetGalley and Abby Greyson for the arc of this book.

Both main characters are helping a weeding as a maid of honor and best man, while helping in the weeding Jamie tries to go back as how they left things with Evie.

I enjoyed the plot and the tropes for this book. And how determined Jamie was to win back Evie
