The Wolfpack Way is a fun, positive book for children ages 2 to 6 that teaches them to be kind, have empathy, care about others, and listen to your heart. I highly recommend this for young ones who will be joining a sports team but also for kids who are starting school. It's a wonderful way to teach the little ones positive ways to handle tough situations and to be there for one another. I listened to this as an audiobook and I'm so happy that Abby Wambach is the reader, she's perfect.

Very cute book for kids! It inspires confidence, teamwork and independence! This was an audiobook therefore I didn't get to see any of the illustrations. I'm sure they are fun like the cover.

I loved the message of this book- we are not alone. An important message for us all to learn. There are other equally important messages listed in the book too.

I thought this was a cute little book about teamwork and being yourself. A perfect short listen for car rides.

I found the background music a little distracting, since it's also used in The Pout-Pout Fish, but I overall enjoyed the audio.

This book focuses on belonging, contributing to a greater goal, and giving back. The narration was clear and demonstrated the message of this book through their tone of voice. The concept of the "Wolfpack Way" communicated the lesson of our individual place in society, and how a thriving Wolfpack is lead by members who live The Wolfpack Way. I think this story could be a great lesson for children on team work and being a team player. I enjoyed that the book started off by describing what a Wolfpack is and finished with tips on how to help and participate in a Wolfpack group dynamic. The audio elements of scribbling, music, and other actions made a clear image of what was happening in the story. I recommend this book to sports teams, classrooms, libraries, and other organized groups for children.

The Wolfpack Way - Abby Wambach (Children’s Book)

📖 This is an audiobook read by Abby Wambach and it is phenomenal. She takes her commencement speech from Barnard in 2018 and turns it into an affirmation based book for kids. She speaks positively into who kids are and who they can be. She gives a few “Wolfpack Ways” to live by, my favorite of which is “#4 It’s okay to mess up, just don’t give up.” The audio itself is fun, with background noises and reading that has great tone inflection.

📚 This is the kind of audiobook I can imagine myself playing in the car on the way to/from school. It’s short, intentional, and engaging. As a teacher I can also see myself using this is the classroom, encouraging students to be their true authentic selves.

🌟 I highly recommend you give this a listen - with or without kids. The Wolfpack Way is time well spent.

A special shoutout to @Netgalley for providing me with the opportunity to listen to this audiobook early. I have been a huge fan of Abby’s since her Barnard Commencement speech, and the book that came from it: Wolfpack. If you haven’t read that one yet, check it out today!
