this was okay. I had trouble finishing it. Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this story. I will not be purchasing it for my library.
It could have been made into something really interesting and exciting, but too much time was spent in captivity, plotting to escape, running, hiding, being held captive again, etc. It was just kind of boring. There was nothing there to make me want to keep reading.
In the sequel to The Rules for disappering Anna and boyfriend Ethan get kidnapped by the person who wants her dead. This book was better than the first one, the pacing and the suspense of wondering what was going to happen to her and Ethan kept me on the edge of my seat, turning the pages because I wanted to know what happened next.
Anna thought she had finally gotten her life and freedom back, but the killer she knows at Thomas is still out there. Anna and the people she loves are still in danger as Thomas draws them into a dangerous drug cartel. In order to save her sister and boyfriend she has to choose the lesser of two evils, break some rules, and learn to identify who her enemies really are. An exciting follow up to The Rules for Disappearing.
This book did not capture my attention, and I ended up not finishing it. I appreciate the opportunity.
I didn't finish this book but I did read about 40% of the book. I couldn't connect with the characters or the romance so I gave up. Sorry.
