I swear I have no idea what I just read. I don't think it would have mattered had I read the first two books in the series either. I can't say the story was not good because in fact a few passages even had me laughing but it's just really that I don't feel it was my type of read. It was totally not what I had in mind when I picked it up.

Re Ryes is working her usual shift when there is a great pounding on the doors. When the usual customers look out into the hallway, there are trolls and anthropomorphic objects attaching them. Rees, her boss and customers uses their magical abilities to fight back. Will they win?

I have not read the previous books of this series. I did enjoy the book but think I should had read the previous books. For those who have started from been one, I think they will enjoy the novella even more.

I was really looking forward to this book, as the blurb promised something out of the ordinary. Instead I was greeted by characters I would not connect with and a story that had potential but was not realized. Not my favorite book
