Thank you Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the advance reading copy. I instantly fell in love with Gemma and Beau, their witty banter and their insane chemistry. The family died/star crossed lovers trope was done well and I can't wait to read more in the Falling for Summer series.

Summer Tease is a super cute, binge-able rom-com. The FMC doesn't want to be in town, and the MC wants to win her over so she'll stay. They have a Romeo and Juliette style family drama that they must navigate, on top of dealing with both of their chaotic jobs.

I love tension filled but no spice romance, and this one totally knocks it out of the park! They're flirty and adorable, especially when the FMC is desperately trying not to flirt.

The audiobook narration is excellent! Ariel Royce has a clear voice that was easy to listen to even at 3x speed. She had just the right amount of emotion and didn't have a cheesy male voice.

This book is part of a standalone-series, Falling for Summer, by a bunch of great authors. This is my first, and it definitely won't be my last! I look forward to reading more of these books.

I received this audiobook from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media to read and review honestly and voluntarily.

I categorized this book as enemies to love but really the enemies part is so one sided that the trope hardly fits. I enjoy Martha Keyes books as a general rule. This one is probably not a fav for me though I'm certain so many people will absolutely love it. I just have a hard time with animosity and felt like Gemma needed to get over it. She was viewing every possible thing through the eyes of the family drama of yore. There are always two sides to a story and she was just a kid at the time and couldn't possibly know the whole of the story. I was glad when things came out into the open.

Beau was very good natured and likable. Not really sure what attracted him to Gemma since she was not so good natured. But I did enjoy her giving her presentation about the worthiness of Beau for a full time position.

And of course I loved the all important happily ever after. And the narration was good.

No sex, language or violence
*I received a complimentary audiobook through NetGalley and voluntarily chose to review it.

Thsi was really cute! I wish I had read the previous 3 beforehand, but I wouldn't say you have to, in order to pick up the story.

Book four of the Falling for Summer series was delightful and continues the never ending enemies to lover stories in Sunset Harbor…perhaps there is something in the water. Gemma and Beau are next in line for the spotlight and their banter is absolutely hysterical and their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥. Their families have a long history of tension and it is not easy to forget. Martha Keyes writes vibrant characters and honorable mention in this story certainly goes to Gemma’s Grandma! Kudos to the Falling for Summer authors who have created such a beautifully cohesive series where each book has its own unique voice! Wonderfully written and perfectly narrated, this is a wonderful addition to this surprise hit series of the summer!

How do these books just keep getting better, this one knocks it out of the park! I loved the characters, especially Grams, what a feisty lady. The connection with Gemma and Beau, this enemies to lovers troupe, is one of the best stories I’ve read, and there are some great ones in this series. I feel like this whole island deals with rivalries and feuds. This is a super fun beach read, afternoon break or go to bed early and read through the night. You won’t put this book down till the very end. It is a clean wholesome romance. I’m grateful to the authors that choose to write this type of story. I also listened to the audiobook and loved the narrator, one of my favorites I can’t wait for the next book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I'm loving this series. Summer Tease is a great addition.

It has family feud, so it's enemies to lovers (a fave of mine) plus the banter is top notch. It's Romeo & Juliet but make it a romcom. This book is a lot of fun and full of small town shenanigans. This is funny, entertaining and romantic. Very well written. The perfect summer read.

Narrator did a fantastic job. Made me laugh out loud with her narration for sure!

Would definitely recommend!!!

Part of the Falling for Summer series. The Falling of Summer series is a series of seven stand-alone clean romances. All by different authors. They are located on a fictional island of Florida. I believe they all happen concurrently, so it doesn't matter what order you read them in. (Based on the events, I am fairly certain at least five of them are concurrent, so one would assume all seven are.)

Summer Tease is a Hatfields and McCoys themed book. The Sawyers and Palmers have lived next door for decades and there is a strong hatred. Gemma Sawyer lived on the island until a zoning issue favored the Palmers, driving their family away. But her grandma remained and now Gemma is back on the island to help ready the house for sale. She is on island all of a few hours before police officer Beau Palmer pulls her over. Beau is happy to see her, but she is seething. But he wears her down as time goes on.

I liked this a lot better than [book:Summer Ever After|210392296], which is part of the series. My review is here. Though part of the problem with the other book was the narrator.

Beau is adorable and hard to dislike- especially with his "K5" companion. Gemma is also likeable and her feelings are validated pretty well.

Now, the reason for three stars- the length. So much of it was repetitive- the dock, the unruly rental neighbors, etc... A good 1/4-1/3 could have been cut out without losing the plot in the slightest.

I also wish it was dual POV. I'd have liked to get Beau's thoughts.

Ariel Royce narrates the audiobook and does a good job. No complaints.

I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a fun listen. Gemma and Beau's journey to love made me laugh and smile. This story is told only in Gemma's POV, which is different from the other books in the Falling for Summer series. This book is book 4 in the series. This rom-com has good banter and made me laugh out loud quite a bit.

You would enjoy this book if you like:
* family feuds (think Romeo and Juliet)
* a man in uniform (he's a cop)
* enemies to lovers
* small town romance
* a young at heart grandma

Ariel Royce did a great job narrating this audiobook. I was nervous on how one narrator would capture the male and female characters, but she did a great job and I didn't even realize it was just one narrator. She did a great job with the difficult task of narrating female and male roles. While I normally prefer a dual POV with more than one narrator, one narrator totally worked for this audio and I really enjoyed it.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media | Paradigm Press for the ALC of this book. I voluntarily listened and gave my honest review.

A new gem from Martha Keyes!!

The Sawyer/Palmer family feuds are legendary on the island. So when her Gram moves into the Palmer family retirement home, Gemma comes to the island to make sure Gram is being treated fairly amidst all the history between the families.

What Gemma didn’t take into consideration was the shenanigans Grams would pull at Sea Side Resort and risk her ability to stay. While Gemma tries to convince the Palmers that Grams can stay, Beau Palmer uses it as an opportunity to change Gemma’s mind about the island and hopefully him!

What you’ll find:
Tour of island
Manatees
A misbehaving Gram
Cute nicknamed
A Bird feeder feud
A PR campaign
Apologies and Forgiveness

Beau is so charming and dedicated to helping the people of Sunset Harbor it’s difficult for Gemma to resist falling hard for him!

The “citizen’s arrest” was my FAVORITE and the sweetest GRAND GESTURE comes of all places during a city council meeting! It made me teary!!

I’m absolutely loving all the characters in the Falling for Summer series and Summer Tease is a great addition to the series!

Romance Content: Just Kissing!

Thank you Netgalley and Martha Keyes for my #gifted ALC. The audio was fantastic!

Sunset Harbor is the place to be! I’m loving this series so, so much. Each book has been spectacular!

Gemma and Beau are so stinking cute! Their age
old family feud gives their relationship a unique dynamic. Gemma is holding on to the hate for the benefit of her Grams, but Beau is too charming to resist. I love the banter and the humor. My favorite part was definitely the citizen’s arrest. And Grams most certainly stole the whole show.

Let’s not forget that epilogue! Hilarious!

I enjoyed this book on audio. This was a single pov/single narration, and while I prefer dual pov with male and female narrations Ariel does such a fantastic job that I didn’t miss it at all.

Thank you Dreamscape and NetGalley for the ALC, all opinions are my own.

sweet story with a good storyline. I dig the mains— Beau, the golden retriever small town cop… and Gemma, the big city lady coming to sell her grandma’s house and get out! The families hate each other, but she is starting to fall for the sweet, kind, caring Beau because he is her neighbor and he is everywhere!

This gave me the same vibes as Things We Hide From the Light— but this version skips the explicit sex, and relies instead on the romantic tension between two people who really shouldn’t like each other. And their kisses are 🫠 swoony.

I loved the narrator, too. I tried it at different speeds and it was fantastic all around! Definitely recommend the audio if you prefer to listen.

I really enjoyed this book. Beau was the best MMC throughout the whole book. I wasn't s huge fan of Gemma because she held onto a grudge that only her family was still holding onto...and I definitely didn't like Gram. Once you reads the book, you'll understand why. I grew up around a manipulative grandmother like her.

Other than that, I really did love listening to this book. I wish is had been dual POV because I would have loved getting inside Beau's head. He is such a sweetheart.

I enjoyed the other books in this series, but this one wasn’t a good fit for me. I don’t like the rivals-to-lovers trope, and I couldn’t relate to Gemma on any level. I disliked how she and the retirement center treated her grandmother like a naughty child. The narration was fine, but I missed the dual narration from the other books.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.

Every time I read a book in this series I think it’s my new favorite. You do not have to read the books in the series but why wouldn’t you! They have all been so good. I loved the connection GG and Grams have. This book takes the enemies to lovers trope to a new level as well. So fun.

Family feuds and retirement center shenanigans. Loving this series so much, the cameos from the series are seamless. The jealousy from Gemma with every female Beau interacts with is entertaining.

Another fun, swoony kissing only enemies to lovers romance set on the fictional Florida island of Sunset Harbor. This book features Beau Palmer, the island's part time policeman and PR maven, Gigi Sawyer who is only back on the island to help get her Grams's home ready to sell. From rival families, these next door neighbors find themselves falling for one another as they spend more and more time helping each other and getting calls to bail out Gigi's Grams who is ALWAYS up to hilarious shenanigans at her retirement home. Full of laughs and perfect for fans of authors like Savannah Scott and Jenny Proctor, this fourth book in the series was great on audio and can be enjoyed as a standalone or read in any order. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
