I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I loved the female friendship that blossomed between the three characters.
I binge read it in two sittings, so intrigued what was going to happen next. I enjoyed learning more about each woman’s family and their dynamics.

A billion stars!! This was completely addicting and I could not put it down. Every character was developed in their own unique way with their own issues and I couldn’t love this book more!

This book definitely made me feel all the things. A definite one sit read. I enjoyed this so so much!

This is my second book by this author & i did enjoy this one as well as her first. This gave me Desperate Housewives vibes. Everything looks perfect from the outside looking in....but oh the tangled webs we weave. I thought the book was well written though the plot seemed to go up & down. i found it to be a little slow at times. but altogether i didn't see the twists coming & i loved the way it all came together! look forward to more by this author.

This story kept me engaged and while I was not at all surprised how things played out, I enjoyed this. I am excited to read more from Caitlin Weaver!

I enjoyed this, as I did her other book so far. The lives of each women were equally spaced out, and even though some parts were predictable, getting there was not obvious so the execution was well done. As a reader it was so frustrating when Anna went into lawyer mode and was able to go all in, and even cross the line when it came to her client because she felt like it was something she “could do;” whereas with herself she didn’t see any options at the time and that was so significant. If she had not been on that case it might not have been such a turning point for her. Given her years abuse it was understandable how it was hard for her to leave or even communicate with her friends what was going on. I enjoy the pacing of the book and the drama. I am reading her next one currently.
Thank you to the author, NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the DRC.

Wow what a great thriller. If you want a book that has family drama, marriage issues and scandal - I recommend this book! It had soccer mom vibes and I was here for it. 4.5 stars

4.5 stars - rounded up! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Caitlin Weaver has quickly become a go-to author for me. Much like her previous novel - Such A Nice Family - I also loved this one! Plus, it gives major girl power vibes!
Things We Never Say is about three women who stumble upon a scandal at the prestigious, private school that their children attend. They must decide how far they’re willing to go to expose the truth – even though it could destroy their perfect lives.
I love books about female friendships. Toss in a ton of secrets, scandal and betrayal and you’ve got the ingredients that make up a superb domestic suspense story! I could not put this book down. It was super engaging with lots of revelations sprinkled throughout.
Weaver is very good at building tension and suspense. I’m looking forward to reading anything she writes!
Highly recommend!

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it! It was twisty and intriguing. I didn’t want to put it down, and that says a lot!

Thank you so much for this ARC! While the premise sucked me in, the actual story itself did not. I tried to read it on my kindle and had to put it down. I tried again on audiobook but it was a DNF. The characters were great and the story was interesting, however, it felt like it took way too long for things to happen.

Secrets. Scandal. More secrets. Maggie, Rhea, and Anna are connected through the PTA at Civitas Upper School, where Anna’s husband Jerry is the headmaster. The three women landed together on a committee to raise money for the black tie Civitas Centennial Gala. The three women ran in different social circles, but quickly forged a friendship since each of the women realized that was exactly what was missing from their lives. As each of their lives looked prominent, successful, and fulfilled from the outside, once each layer was peeled away, the inside was anything but what it appeared. Each woman held a life-altering secret that would affect each of their families forever.
Caitlin Weaver crafted an engaging novel which had alternating chapters based on each of the woman’s life’s happenings. I connected with each of the women and their secrets, leaving me heartbroken for what each of them were experiencing. This is a quick page-turner with a lot of excitement to keep you wanting to read through the night. There will definitely be another Caitlin Weaver book in my near future. This book is available now. I strongly recommend this if you are looking for a novel filled with deep secrets and a scandal which slowly reveals itself throughout the book.

In Things We Never Say, Caitlin Weaver explores the complexities of friendship, secrets, and the sacrifices we make for the sake of appearance. The novel follows Anna, a quiet and reserved mother, who has spent her life concealing the darker aspects of her personal life. When she is brought together with Maggie, a relationship therapist struggling with her own marriage, and Rhea, a woman from a seemingly perfect background, the three bond over shared confidences during a PTA project, slowly peeling back the layers of their carefully curated personas.
Maggie is grappling with the painful unraveling of her marriage, and Rhea, despite her wealth and outward success, fears the skeletons of her past might resurface. However, it’s Anna’s story that stands out—her protective silence regarding her volatile home life with her husband, the respected school headmaster. As the women uncover a scandal that the school has worked tirelessly to suppress, Anna finds herself at a crossroads: expose the truth and risk shattering the reputations they’ve worked so hard to maintain, or remain complicit and preserve the lives they’ve built.
Weaver’s narrative weaves a delicate exploration of guilt, loyalty, and personal integrity, balancing suspense with emotional depth. The pacing is steady, and the complex relationships between Anna, Maggie, and Rhea provide both tension and moments of vulnerability. Each woman is forced to confront her own insecurities and the weight of the secrets she carries, making for a gripping, thought-provoking read.
Things We Never Say is a compelling novel about the cost of protecting a perfect facade and the powerful consequences of revealing uncomfortable truths. Weaver’s insight into the lives of her characters and the rich, morally ambiguous dilemmas they face will resonate with readers who appreciate stories of personal growth, betrayal, and the complexity of human relationships.

This is my first book by Caitlin Weaver, and won't be my last.
I found it hard to put this book down. The characters are relatable and their stories believable, and I could see it playing out in my mind. The story is one of trauma, domestic violence, fraud, secrets, friendship, strength, grief, and hope. I absolutely loved it, was on the edge of my seat at times, and was wrapped up by the warmth of the friendships that developed. I highly recommend it, but there are many triggers throughout, so proceed with caution.

Final rating: 3.75. I struggled with the beginning but about halfway through it got easier for me to follow and things finally picked up. I enjoyed this read but wasn't anything insane for me either.

But what will Anna do? This is a gripping tale of scandal, deception, and female solidarity. I am usually all about a great domestic thriller and mystery, but this isn’t about murder. It was more about a powerful friendship. It intrigued me and cut me reading. I would suggest this to my friends.

I loved everything about this book! This was a new author for me, but I will read everything she writes. After this book, I immediately went to read her first novel, Such a Good Family, and loved that one too.
Three mothers who each harbor their own secrets have to work together on a school gala. Do they trust each other or will they decide that every woman is on their own? This story is all about friendship, secrets, betrayal, scandal, and family drama. This was so much more than a thriller. It was a beautifully crafted journey that wove together such relatable topics. The plot was convoluted, and I couldn't stop listening to this story. This story completely roped me in, and held me captive until the very last word. The ending was so good. All three storylines pulled together perfectly. I love strong female characters, and we see that displayed here threefold.
Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Wonderful story, great character development, great writing! Highly recommend this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Scandal & lots of hidden secrets within a private school community. Anna, Rhea & Maggie are all three middle aged women with secrets from their past (& current life). When all three of them are put on the same committee for their kids’ school gala, they find out some scandalous information about the private school their children attend...and have to decide what to do with this information. I loved this book! I enjoyed how the characters and their story lines weaved in and out with each other.
Thanks to NetGalley & the publishers for this ARC. Definitely will check out more from this author. #booksbyashleynicole

5 Stars!!
Another completely absorbing and well written domestic suspense novel from Caitlin Weaver.
This was my second book by Caitlin Weaver. I also enjoyed her previous novel, "Such a Good Family". I read it just a month or so before reading this. I was excited to see she had another book coming out this year. Both books dealt with significant and relevant issues . I thought she handled these issues in an honest, realistic, and respectful way.
Anna, Maggie, and Rhea were all incredible, well developed characters. I was interested in their individual stories and loved how they interacted with each other.
I was thrilled to have both the audiobook and ebook for "Things We Never Say". When my eyes were tired I was able to listen which was great because I was riveted and needed to see how it all came together in the end.
An emotional and insightful story that held my interest from start to finish.
I hope a third book from Caitlin Weaver is coming soon!!

I thought I had already left my review for this book but I was apparently mistaken lol. I absolutely LOVED this book. The characters were relatable, the plot was JUICY and the ending was the one everyone deserved! Definitely a book I will purchase for my bookshelf!
