The book is based on eating a plant-based diet and she includes recipes in each chapter. The chapter discussing eating meat is harsh. There are people that, cannot for whatever reason, maintain a plant-based diet. I did not like the comment about eating fish from our polluted waters. This is supposed to be an upbeat book and I started doubting myself for my eating habits because I eat meat and fish. If you are vegan, you may enjoy this book.

I have to admit based on the title I expected a bit more content on body positivity and inner work around that. This book is more for folks who are vegan or open to being vegan. Plant based diet is simply not my priority nor does it work for my particular health/dietary needs. The tone of the book was fun and entertaining and I feel it will appeal to younger audience. I think this is a very specific diet book with a very specific audience in mind. Though it was an ok read, it wasn't exactly for me.
