I always love Katee’s spice, but this was *chef kiss* fantastic. If you need a quick and steamy read- this is for you!

Loved this and the spicy bits! I loved Lucy's story and Gideon truly fit the bill for her needs. I love how it all turned out. Also loved Roman 😍 like seriously, Adonis was pretty spot on for him. Lol both of these stories were great and thoroughly enjoyable! Loved them! I can't decide if I like Roman or Gideon more though. I also liked the Lil cameo of them and Becka in the stories.

super spicy but didnt love this one. the characters fell a little flat for me. i love katee's writing and the way she can storytell. just wasnt my fave from her!

This was my first time reading this author and I would read more of her work The stories were easy to get into and the characters are interesting. I liked how they characters overlap in the stories and it looks they also do in the first book of the series. This would be popular with readers who enjoy escaping with some steamy romance!

Amazing short and spicy stories! Katee Robert does it again and totally had me hooked from the first sentence of the first book in this volume. I’m loving the characters and the spice. Gideon might be one of my favorite MMCs ever honestly.

If you have read the Make Me series, then you know exactly what you are getting with these re-released volumes. But if you haven't, read these!

I will admit that I would her a grocery list if Katee Robert wrote it. I have an addiction to her writing that isn't going away any time soon but I really enjoyed these re-released volumes.

My only question is why the last 2 books in the Make Me series are coming out as the first Volume. I enjoyed the the first volume more than the second -- but it would have been great to have the history of Lily and Gideon & Allie and Roman before getting Becka's story.

In this volume, Make Me Want is slightly longer than Make Me Crave (about 60% of the book) but both are great stories. I got a little lost in the Make Me Crave storyline -- just because I was ready for them to get to back to the business of what Allie was going to do about her gym. This volume has great banter, heartbreaking emotions, and delicious spice.

Another fun quick read from one of my favorite authors!

This book is actually the combination of 2 novellas from the Make Me series: Book 1, Make Me Want and Book 2, Make Me Crave. I'm baffled as to why Volume 1 contains the last two books of the series and Volume 2 contains the first two. If you want to read in chronological order, read Volume 2: Forbidden Games before reading Volume 1 : Illicit Temptations.

As they are novellas, the romance and spice develops very fast for most of the characters. Both couples fall in love in a matter of weeks from when the story begins. Even though both stories move quickly, there are several twists and turns in the plot to keep things interesting.

Make me Want Is Lucy and Gideon's story. Lucy and Gideon actually have known each other for a long time, as she was engaged to his ex-best friend. Gideon has been secretly in love with her the whole time and mourned the loss of their friendship when her engagement ended badly. When Lucy calling Gideon out of the blue to not only "headhunt" a husband for her but to give her lessons in the bedroom, to learn how to please said future husband, is the sweetest torture.

Make Me Crave is Allie and Roman's story. Allie runs a women's only gym and a women's shelter. Both are bleeding her dry both mentally and financially. Roman is an investment matchmaker tasked by his client to close a deal on investing in Allie's businesses, but she refuses to meet with him. In order to avoid what she sees as investors looking to ruin her business and the shelter, she accepts her friend Becka's offer of a vacation on a private island. Roman follows her to the island to close the deal, but decides to have a quick fling with a mysterious and beautiful woman he meets there. When they exchange names in the morning, they each realize who the other is. Can they separate business and pleasure?

Spicy, short, and oh so delectable. Katee Robert knows how to bring the spice and give us enough of a plot that balances perfectly. If you're a fan of *bedroom* lessons with unique characters this is for you!

Katee Robert did it again. Volume 1 has nothing on Volume 2’s spice. Make Me Want starts off with a bang when Lucy hires her ex’s best friend to help her find a husband. Gideon has secretly wanted Lucy for years so when she asks for lessons in the bedroom, he wastes no time obliging her. This novella was less plot based but the raw emotional connection between Lucy and Gideon made up for that. Make Me Crave had all the tension and steamy chemistry I love. Roman and Allie could not keep their hands off each other. Add to that Allie not knowing if Roman is in it for real or just to get what he wants business wise. Both novellas are quick and easy reads, but they definitely don’t slack in the character development department. I love watching these tough alpha males fall so hard and fast for their women. Katee Robert does it again! She knows how to pack a punch in a short amount of time. The tension and sexual chemistry between the characters is always fire, but it's the raw emotions and feelings that really hit home connecting us to her stories. This was 2 stories in one, a part of her make me series, and even though this says volume 2 it should be volume 1. The events and characters that happen in this volume come before the events of volume 1 illicit temptations.

So book one, Make Me Want, is about Lucy and Gideon. They have a history together since she almost married his ex best friend, but found out he was cheating on her through Gideon. Gideon has carried the guilt of not telling her sooner for years, always pinning after her. Out of the blue she contacts him with a proposition to find her a husband before the end of the year so she can secure a promotion at her law firm cause it's a man's world. He eventually agrees because at least he'll know that this husband of hers will be a good guy. But that's not the end of her deal. She also wants sex lessons from him because her ex really did a number on her confidence and she has a lot of issues to work through. They inevitably catch feelings for each other and he doesn't want her to choose anyone else but him as a husband. This book was hot, emotional, and relatable for all of her self-esteem issues. Gideon took everything head on and she gained her confidence back inside and out of the bedroom.

Book two, Make Me Crave, picks up after book 1 with Lucy's sister, Becka and her best friend Allie going on a week long vacation to paradise. Allie has been ignoring investors and debt and her gym/women's shelter is on the brink of going under. One determined headhunter, Roman, follows her to paradise to force her to sell. They end up having a one night stand with who they thought were strangers until they figure out who the other really is. They come to an agreement of no business discussion but all pleasure for the week. It's quite the "I hate you but you have a magical body that I can't stay away from" trope. Once back in New York, she wants nothing to do with him and he's trying to convince her that his investor has only her best intentions for her business. I loved Allie's strength and determination for the women she cared about, and it was relatable that it's ok to ask for help and you don't have to shoulder all of your burdens by yourself. I also loved that they called each other Adonis and Aphrodite, very hot.

Altogether it was a very quick and fast paced collection of stories. I feel like if I read this one first before volume one I would have enjoyed it better because then I wouldn't have the little spoilers in volume one that there were. Katee does a fantastic job with making her books steamy and a good plot. I haven't read a bad book of hers yet.

This book was exactly what I needed after reading so many YA books. Something short, sexy and has a decent plot. I absolutely loved Gideon/Lucy and Roman/Allie. I read Illicit Temptations, and I loved Forbidden Games so much more. The two stories in this book just flowed a little better. As always, I enjoy Katee's books. If you like her work, you should definitely read this one.

These spicy books were such short, quick reads. A wonderful, heated escape into the lives of Lucy and Gideon and Allie and Roman. Robert did an excellent job of maintaining character depth while adding spice.

This was one of my favorite Katee Robert books (outside of Dark Olympus) that I've read in awhile. Failed matchmaker/ sex lessons is one of my favorite tropes, so I was very excited to see it done by Katee. Therefore, that first story ended up being like a 4 star for me, and then the second one ended up being a 3 star -- it was pretty middle of the road for me, I didn't feel super attached to the main characters of that one.

I enjoyed Lucy and Gideon's story which is full of hot chemistry and a good amount of spice but I didn't think it was as erotic as this author's fairytale books. Gideon has pinned over Lucy, his former best friends ex since he had first met her. Years later, Lucy wants help finding a guy to marry so she can have more respect at her job. She asks Gideon for help in this, as well as how to be passionate in the bedroom. Right away sparks fly when they first kiss, and it's no surprise watching these two become deeply involved in a short time. I loved both characters and enjoyed seeing Lucy find both joy and confidence after a terrible heartbreak. Both books in this set are fast-paced and shorter reads, but well-written and delicious to read!

This book had two novellas that were quick, unique, steamy, and easy to get into. I’d definitely recommend this book to someone looking for all of the above, it was genuinely easy to enjoy and relatively mindless!

Katee Robert is always a fun spicy read with story that keeps you interested and this is no different. I love that it's two novellas and makes for quick fun reads. Yummy spice and very entertaining. Would definitely recommend for spicy romance lovers. Thank you so much for this ARC opportunity and quality entertainment.

Apart from the fact that all in all I had grown fond of the characters, it is not clear to me why the publisher decided to reprint these novels in the incorrect order.
