This book was SO SHORT, I honestly wondered WHY the author wrote it. It was SO BAD and so incomplete, half-baked, and undone that it seemed really pointless. There's no backstory on any of the characters, there is not much logical thinking, there is barely any talk between Wynne and her reel life fiance, Andy. I mean, really.

<spoiler>
So, Wynne catches Meredith cozying up to Andy, and then she confronts Meredith, but Andy is let off the hook? Not once does she ask him anything? When they do talk, it's about fixing a PR mess, and he's still the sweet old guy who stood out in the reality show. I mean WHATT? Seriously, is that how people behave? I mean if I saw my fiance cozying up to someone, I would confront HIM first rather than the person.

And what is WITH all of these books that just don't give closure to people when they break up. It is SO SO SO UNREALISTIC that you have people still hung on over their exes. THIS! THIS is what puts up unrealistic expectations from a relationship. Ultimately, you have to know that things don't always work out. People have different frequencies. And can we just STOP romanticizing people who don't move on from their relationships? That's why I loved that movie with Julia Roberts, my Best Friend's Wedding, where she is in love with her best friend but he is going to be married to someone else. And guess what, her friend DOESN'T break up his wedding because Julia Roberts loves him. That is realistic. This sort of twisted romantic mess is what gives the genre a bad name.

I think I have HATED a majority of books in this series. Because they were selfish, unrealistic, and all had central characters who were infuriating, in a terrible way.

Literally, if this is the stuff trad publishers put out, no wonder people prefer indie. I mean I've read better stories from a newbie author. I'm sorry this comes out to be too scathing, but the story was really irritating. It could have been much better. But it was cliche and undercooked.

I regret choosing this book from NetGalley, but thank you for giving me a free copy.

I kinda rushed through this one because it didn’t really click for me. I didn’t connect with any of the characters and while the tv setting was a cute idea and it didn’t quite work. If you’re looking for a quick romance and the premise sounds cute to you, you should check it out because you might enjoy it more than I did!

Wynne Hardy did a reality show after a horrible break up and she has found her match. Her wedding is upcoming and this is where the book starts. Wynne and Andy have the final preparations for the wedding to do and of course with any wedding there will be a bit of drama!

This novella reminded me that I do love reading short stories and novellas. The reader knows that a lot of action has taken place before this part of the story starts, but you are just getting a glimpse into the full story. Unlike the previous novella I read in this collection where all the action took place in such a short amount of time, things felt rushed.

I had read one book by Marybeth Whalen before I started this one and enjoyed that one. It was published after this one, so it was interesting to think about that book compared to this novella. I liked this one in the collection. It gave me hope to read more, we shall see if I keep up reading them month to month.
