The third in a series where I recommend starting at the beginning as each book talks about a generation and the happenings in that young woman's life during the current time period. I loved following this family from generation to generation and loved the ease of reading - was great to read at the tail end of the year and just finish a year with some easy reading.

I think a tween could be a great audience for these books and/or a mother daughter buddy read. The stories have interesting drama, but nothing too scary or traumatizing.
