This book pulls you in from the first chapter. Brady, the hot billionaire who doesn’t do commitment, locks eyes with Lily (the mysterious flight attendant) and instantly goes from a “no-strings” kind of guy to full-on obsessed. After a one-night stand that blows his mind, Lily vanishes, leaving Brady high and dry, but not for long. He’s out to find her, no matter the cost. It’s a mix of hot chemistry, touch-her-and-die vibes, and a whole lot of mystery.
I loved the slow-burn tension between them, and the way fate keeps throwing them together but never quite lets them fully connect. Also, major bonus for no 3rd-act breakup – we love a healthy resolution!
As for the audiobook, Ava Erickson nails Lily’s voice and adds so much emotion. But, and here’s the thing, Tor Thom’s attempt at voicing women... not so much. It kinda threw me off, to be honest. Like, Brady’s voice is fine, but the ladies? Nah. Still, it’s a decent listen, especially if you’re into billionaire romances with a little suspense and some serious chemistry.
Bottom line: If you're into sizzling chemistry, mystery, and a guy who’ll do anything to get the girl, you’ll love The Sinner!

I literally do not have any words besides, Marni is the Queen. Sign me up for anything she writes forever and always. Marni never disappoints. A special thank you to Netgalley, Marni Mann, and Dreamscape Media for this ALC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I think that we all know how much I love everything that Marni Mann writes, and this was no difference! I love when a man falls first, and boy, did Brady fall hard. Lily and Brady’s dynamic from the very beginning was everything that I wanted and more. Brady’s protectiveness over Lily was swoon worthy. I can’t wait for the next one!

I was late on getting to this audiobook. But as always Marni Mann had me SWEATING! 🥵 so so so good! I devoured it! Give me Brady in real life please!!!

Brady is next up and he needs to go to Edinburgh and is not pleased that he cannot take the company jet and has to fly commercial. While he is waiting to board he notices a woman and she turns out to be his flight attendant in first class. A lot of flirting and he convinces Lily to join him in his room for the night. She ghosts him in the morning and it takes months before they meet again. This one was good, maybe not a good as the last but still held up as spicy and just as hot as you would expect from this author.

I was really hopeful for The Sinner agreeing seeing so many great review but honestly it just didn't work for me. The insta lust / insta live trope just didn't feel believable. I wanted a deeper and more engaging plot. The audiobook was done really well though. The narrator's did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life.
Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Marni Mann book never let me down. I am drawn in from the beginning to the end. The Sinner was no different.

Marni did the dang thing again!
Lily is in constant danger due to an unhinged stalker Ex, when in walks Brady and becomes so captivated her that he has to have her.
A one night stand turns into more between these two when Brady decides that Lily is so much more than just a passionate night. He has never been much into relationships until she becomes all he thinks about.
Lily doesn’t want to get close to him, the last time she got close to another man, he was unalived and she refuses to take that chance again.
Brady decides he is willing to take that chance because he knows with every fiber of his being that she is worth everything to him…
This story is such a roller coaster of will they or won’t they make it? Does her ex find out? What does he do? You’ll just have to read it in order to find out but I’ll tell you what, it’s so worth it, the spade brothers are top tier men who don’t sit by idly when it comes to their women.

Brady is a millionaire. He is one of the owners of the Spade Hotel chain. He will be opening a new hotel in Edenborough. He is traveling there for a couple of days to find a property and get things rolling. He usually travels in the company jet but his brother Dominick took it to Hawaii. He had to fly first class and PEOPLE! He wouldn't have a driver beside the plane when he arrived, had to go through baggage claim, he couldn't play intimate games on the the way. He was cranky! When he finally arrived at his hotel he me Lily at the bar. He was instantly besotted. They spent the night getting to know each other better but when he woke up she was gone! That's not his mo.. He's always the one to leave. He didn't know who she was or how to find her -but he wanted to -badly! He was here to find a spot for his new hotel, perhaps purchasing the existing one that was no longer open so he kept and eye out and proceeded with his business. He finally found her but she obviously had secrets she didn't want to share and wasn't engaging with him so he could help work things out. He was upset to find out that the hotel was an interest of hers (which she hadn't disclosed) and she had known who he was (which she also did not acknowledge) and they were at cross purposes. They finally worked out the issues and were able to come together. An interesting, deep read with a HEA. This book was narrated by Tor Tom and Ava Erickson. They both did a great job and made the story come to life. Another great book in the Spade Hotel Series by Marni Mann.

I’ve definitely enjoyed the Spade Hotel series by Marni Mann. She doesn’t hesitate to provide dreamy romances that get going right at the very start of the book. She creates characters that are super dreamy too, like the male lead in this one. A cute romance and a guy character we can all love, that’s what Marni Mann promises in this one.

Brady wanted her at first site. But Lily just wanted to have fun and didn’t want to bring her troubles into Brady’s life. As a flight attendant she never thought she would see him again after their night of hot steamy fun. But the universe has other plans. Brady convinces her to stay with him but Lily has one big problem. Her ex will do everything in his power to make sure she is with no one but him. Brady spins discovers how crazy her ex is and takes matters into his own hands.

Marni Mann can never disappoint! Add the Audio to this story and it was amazing. Voices to the characters always adds that extra element that I love and to Marni story telling it takes it over the edge. Brady and Lily were everything! Lily was an FMC that was independent and strong, never can go wrong with that! Brady, OMG! when the MMC falls first and harder I just eat that right up!
I recommend reading The Sinner along with Audio! You wont regret it!!

These Spade Brothers get hotter and hotter each book. This is the third book in the Spade Hotel series. They are all stand alones. Each book has followed a different spade brother and told their story. The characters do make various appearances in each of the books so far.
The Sinner was such a good read.
Brady Spade. That’s it- that’s my review. Only kidding. I thought he was the grumpy playboy brother but boy was I wrong he is such a softy and has fallen hard for one woman. The passion between Lily and Brady is so amazing. The spice is spicing in this book. But it’s not all spice, there’s some suspense thrown in there. I was hooked, it’s addictive.
The audiobook narrated by Ava Erickson and Tor Thom was so good! They were the perfect voices for the characters.

I love Marni’s books, but I think The Sinner is her best work yet! The chemistry. The tension. The spice. The suspense. The “touch her and die” vibes. All of it was absolute perfection and just worked so so perfectly. I loved Brady and Lily, they had this immediate chemistry and sexual attraction that was like magic. And once they reconnected and the genuine romantic feelings got involved? SWOON! I love a little intricate and suspense with my romance, and the suspenseful elements of this story really amped up the tension and I just devoured it. Tor Thom and Ava Erickson were the perfect duo to bring these two to life, and they made it such an enjoyable listen! I loved getting glimpses into the lives of the other Spades and Coles, and I’m so excited for the rest of the books in this series!

This book was a wild ride from start to finish and at no point did I know what was about to happen…and I loved every minute of it. Brady Spade is everything I want in a billionaire alpha hero and will do whatever it takes to protect Lily. The chemistry and spice in this book were both top tier. No one writes spice quite like Marni and I love that I can always count on her books when I need something extra spicy. The suspense in this book get me guessing the entire time and I like that this story was a bit darker than the other books in this series. Brady’s protective streak was everything and the way her showed Lily that he loved her and would care for her had me swooning. Also, I did not see the ending coming AT ALL and I loved that because I am not surprised very often. I loved getting to see the other Spades and the Dalton’s more in this book and I am so excited to get the Cole Brothers’ books next!

Ooh this book was all sorts of spicy and delicious! I loved Lilly and Brady so much! The chemistry between these two was off the charts and their story was phenomenal! This story was emotional, suspenseful, romantic, hella spicy, and so captivating. I could not stop listening to this book and I can’t wait for more from Marni Mann!
Ava Erickson & Tor Thom were amazing as the narrators. I really loved how they expressed these characters emotions. I feel like Tor’s female voice could use some work, but other than that this was such a good audiobook!
Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Sinner is the 3rd book in The Spade Hotel series and is Lily and Brady's story. Brady is a Playboy who never wanted relationship, but from the moment he first sees Lily that changed.
These two had an instant connection and the chemistry was undeniable. The heat from their first night together was scorching hott, enough to set the pages on fire.
Lily has a traumatic past that still haunts her and she was afraid it would scare Brady away. I lived his open Brady was with his feelings.
I loved seeing him fall, and the lengths he would go to in order to protect Lily was amazing to watch. The suspense element took the story to a next level making this novel a bit darker than the previous books but no less enjoyable.
The Sinner gave us a great blend of romance, chemistry, seduction and suspense making it a story I couldn't put down. This was a fantastic addition to the series and I can't wait to see where the author takes us next. I would definitely recommend this novel.

I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Ava Erickson and Tor Thom. They gave a wonderful performance and made the characters feel real. Their voices were clear and understandable and they really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to them narrate this novel.

Listen here.. How is anyone supposed to be happy dating when Marni Mann writes these perfect specimens..
I loved that there was no sl*t shaming and the desired one night stand was a proud moment for both parties in that it was an accepted adult thing without any ugliness.
I will say this book felt more erotic than her other books but I also liked how they met, and kept meeting.. a real meet cute if you will..
I think the ending was a bit unneeded but yet I soaked it up like a sponge.. I never want this series to end.. I need more!

I enjoyed book two in the Spade hotel series, so I was excited to listen to the audiobook for book 3, and it did not disappoint. This book is SPICY, so readers beware if you don't like open door spice, then you may want to skip this one. Trigger warnings for domestic verbal abuse, stalking, gun violence. I did feel like Brady had some of the same tendencies that David had, which didn't make him much better than David, but at least he respected Lily's wishes, and made her feel like she had choices. If you have read the Spade Hotel series, the Dalton Family, or the Hooked series, then you will see cameos from the friends and family members from those books in The Sinner, and if you enjoy Marni Mann, then you will definitely enjoy this book. #TheSinner #NetGalley

This book is part of a series, but definitely reads fine as a standalone. The story revolves around sexy billionaire and a beautiful flight attendant. While they both connected wanting a one night stand only, he falls hard and tries to pursue her. Due to her complicated past, he’s unable to find her until a chance encounter several months later. What happens next leads to a steamy and somewhat dangerous relationship. Highly recommend for those who love things a bit spicy.
