This book is part of a series, but definitely reads fine as a standalone. The story revolves around sexy billionaire and a beautiful flight attendant. While they both connected wanting a one night stand only, he falls hard and tries to pursue her. Due to her complicated past, he’s unable to find her until a chance encounter several months later. What happens next leads to a steamy and somewhat dangerous relationship. Highly recommend for those who love things a bit spicy.

Marni never fails to take readers not only on a romantic and steamy adventure. While I loved every one of the Daltons, I also crush on each Spade brother and Brady might be my favorite of the three. There’s just something about his dominating and take charge personality with his sweet side that made me fall for him as much as Lily did. Lily for her part, was perfect for him. And though women in need of rescue aren’t always characters I immediately love, Lily fought for her independence and did what she was able to do with the means that she had which made me love her that much more. In audio, Tor Thom and Ava Erickson were cast well for the characters and gave superb performances. The Sinner combines a billionaire, he-falls-first, steamy romance with suspense and takes readers on a delicious and delightful ride.

The moment Brady laid eyes on his flight attendant, he knew he needed to have her. They shared one night and she disappeared from his life. The second time their paths crossed, he did whatever it took to make Lily his. Ghosts from her past threaten their new relationship, but Brady will do whatever he has to do to give Lily a future.

I loved every moment of this amazing story. I couldn’t help but fall for this romance with each page I read. It was so very sweet, while also so very steamy, and the way Brady cared for Lily made me swoon. I adored how he made an effort to keep her safe but also cared enough to make sure she had the freedom of choice where it had been taken from her. I swooned, I fanned my face, and I fell in love with this story. I couldn’t get enough of their sweet and steamy story that I wish wasn’t over. Can’t wait to see what comes next for the Cole brothers.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this ALC.

Ava Erickson and Tor Thom were a wonderful pairing to listen to.

I enjoyed the weaving and wild route this story took. I love me some morally gray/ black heroes.

This was pure Marni Mann magic! I listened to this as an audiobook and I feel that Marni's writing translates to audiobooks really well. The narrators were amazing. They were a perfect choice for this book. I mean Tor Thom could read me a grocery list and it would be hot!! I seriously can't believe how quickly I devoured this book. I mean, I am going to have to go on a diet now! I sidelined other books just so that I could listen to this book. I had to find out how it ended and how they coped with the possessive ex. You will just have to listen and find out!

Big thanks to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media and Marni Mann for an early release copy of this audiobook. This is my honest review.

This book was a good read, and it was narrated really well. I did find the plot plot a bit predictable at times, but it was still a good read and I enjoyed the audiobook. All of the narration was fantastic and I think it really helped picture the characters. I did think when I finished this that it wasn't the most memorable but I've read, and would probably not read it again. But that doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable and well written.

My least favorite of the spade hotel series.
The ending was kind of disappointing,

Publisher's summary
The first time I saw her, I wanted her.
The second time I saw her, I knew she had to be mine.
Beautiful blonde hair. Cornflower-blue eyes. Body to die for.
All things I knew I couldn’t live without.
But after one night, she ghosted me, leaving me desperate for another taste.
I was usually the one to walk out the door before the morning light came.
This time, it was her—but not without becoming my obsession in the process.
Lily was a mystery.
She had a past shrouded in secrets she was unwilling to divulge.
She was running from something, and I was determined to find out what it was.
And once I did, I’d do anything to protect her.
They called me the sinner for a reason.
Because I wouldn’t hesitate to burn down the world or cross any line to save her.

Thanks to NetGalley & Dreamscape Media for the ALC of this book!

This bad boy right here yall… I literally didn’t sleep, I couldn’t stop listening to it. I didn’t read the book first or even the synopsis before going in. And I 10/10 recommend doing that. I just knew Marni wrote it, so I had to hear it.

The narrators were perfection. I loved how they brought so much life to the book. I could feel their chemistry! It was a phenomenal performance from both of them. I will
Definitely be looking forward to their next narration.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this ARC!

The Sinner is the third book in the Spade Hotel series, and it centers around Brady Spade and Lily. They meet on a flight and after spending a crazy night together Brady can't stay away. But Lily has a dark past that is stopping her from being with Brady. The story follows their relationship and Lily's past that keeps coming back.

Lets start with the audiobook aspect:
Overall I enjoyed the narration and I like that it is dual narration. Ava Erickson and Tor Thom did a great job in giving the story more life and I felt that they fit the characters pretty well. Some of the spicy scenes did make me cringe a bit but I think the author just adds a lot of detail and the narrators give that more emotion. One aspect that the audiobook didn't translate well was all the texting that happened between characters. The narration of it took me out of the story. I would definitely listen to other audiobooks by these 2 narrators.

The story/plot:
This is my first Marni Mann book and although I started with book #3 it can definitely be a standalone and enough context is given about the other characters that I didn't feel like the reader missed any info/context. The characters were well developed and all the secondary characters were fun and how they interacted, but the actual chemistry between the 2 main characters felt very superficial. It was all about sleeping with each other but the emotional part was lacking. The first 5/6ths of the book moved at a good pace but when it came to the main conflict it got resolved very quickly and it left me wanting more. Throughout the whole book there was the build up for this and then boom it got resolved and in a way that felt too easy. We never got more info and it was a happily ever after.

For myself I never connected with the characters and some of the dialogue was a bit cringe for me. That is why I gave it 3 stars, but I feel like other people might like this more and thats okay. I think I would also need to read the other books in the series to really get to know everyone.
Overall great narration just not my favorite story.

Delicious and sexy! Brady and Lilly were perfect for each other.

A little to much instant-love for my taste, but the spice was just enough spicy to keep me going.

This is my first time reading from the author and I would say I had my expectations quite set a little bit high considering there's a bunch of 5 and 4⭐️ ratings so I'm quite excited about it.

The synopsis, although not to my liking on how it was presented, piqued my interest. I'm quite drawn to the obsessive and touch her and die trope so you see, once again, I had expectations.

Long story short, it felt flat. I don't mind a love at first sight or lust at first sight trope as long as it's written well, but unfortunately, the writing here wasn't something or something that endeared me.

It was pretty disappointing, considering the plot really had potential if just the writing did execute well and utilises the trope in a better light as well as the characters.

Overall, I didn't like it. I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn't.

Thank you, to NetGally and author Marni Mann, for the arc opportunity

The Sinner is the third book in the Spade Hotel Series. It is a one night stand, alpha hole, grumpy/sunshine romance. Lily and Brady's story has angst, drama, and off the charts hot chemistry. You get all the feels. Their connection is explosive from the start. I really enjoyed this one.

Ava Erickson and Tor Thom did a good job bringing these characters and the story to life.

Although this is the 3rd book in the Spade Hotel series this is only the second book I have had the chance to enjoy. They do not need to go in order and work as a stand alone story. Marni Mann delivers another steamy, fully thought, out well written story that will keep you reading (or listening as was my case listening to the audio book of this one) to the end. Ava Erickson and Tor Thom are the narrators and did so well that you just lose your self in this book.

Brady, who was your typical play boy and love them once and leave them type of guy, knew from the moment he saw Lily that she would be his and he would do anything to keep her. He just needed to find a way to convince her of that and wont take no for an answer.

Lily is a flight attendant that loves her job, it keeps her moving and keeps her past from catching up with her... until it doesn't and she needs Bradys help

I was given an ALC to listen to and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the third book in the Spade Hotel series, a billionaire romance, and romantic suspense. I loved it! Brady and Lily's story is captivating, passionate, and engaging, filled with mystery, danger, and twists and turns. Brady is handsome, alpha, and protective. Lily is beautiful, smart, and strong. They are perfect together. The tension, and the chemistry are sizzling hot. The storyline is intriguing, and enthralling. The supporting characters are great. I loved to see the characters from the first books in the series. Ava Erickson and Tor Thom did an outstanding job bringing these characters, and this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to The Heartbreaker, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series.

Dual narration by Ava Erickson & Tor Thom

• Close Proximity • Billionaire • DV Survivor • He Falls First • Touch Her & Die • Protective Alpha MMC •

Loved this one!! As far as the Spade brothers go, I think Brady might be my favorite. He knows what he wants and he goes for it. He doesn’t back down, and he won’t let a crazy ex stop him. I loved the morally gray route this one took.

Ava and Tor were a perfect pairing for this book. Excellent narration!

I am simply *obsessed* with this series and The Sinner just made that obsession grow! Brady and Lily's story had so many tropes that I love. Not even sure where to start...
One night stand
Grumpy/sunshine
Billionaire/flight attendant
He. Falls. First. (I LOVE THIS ONE)
Extremely protective, touch her and die vibes.
I loved that there was some suspense mixed in twitch the ELITE spice that I have come to live from Marni Mann! An amazing story with wonderfully complex characters!

holy cow......

This was a first for me. Marni Mann should absolutely go on my list for future reads/listens. This was steamy, electrifying, and a bit intense and scary. Brady Spade was sexy hot. He knew what he wanted and was not expecting for it all to knock him for a few loops. He never knew that this would happen to him or all that came along with her. Lily. Just Lily. We do not get a last name, but that was all okay. I was more enticed by the story unfolding. The encounter of them both being aware was connection goodness. Their coming together beyond that was gonna happen but who would have thought it would be so amazing. No one would have expected for her to just walk away. Brady mainly. The two get another chance, but that too is another walk away. Lily had a reason for everything she did. We did not see it all but when it came out as to why she was doing what she was doing it was clear that she was doing the right thing. The right thing that was working for her in the short term. Brady Spade was not going to let it all go like that.

I could go on and on. I could give more info but that is not what I want to do.. This was a good story with a flaw. I wanted to know, how. How was he doing all this? But that did not get answered so of course I just had to move on. This was a hit for me. Ava and Tor did good job.

The Sinner (Spade Hotel #3) is a billionaire romance.

Lily and Brady’s connection was explosive from the beginning. I loved that Brady fell first and was able to push through her defenses and become her safe place. In their story you get a bit of angst, drama and an intense chemistry.

Ava Erickson and Tor Thom did a really nice job bringing these characters to life.

I loved this insta-lust turned love story. In the beginning I thought this entire book would consist of Brady trying to fight his emotions. I’m so happy the story took a different route. The stalking gave the book a conflict without making the main characters fight each other and I loved that. As someone from Atlanta I also liked how the Author mentioned a few Atlanta specific things. While Lilly was just okay in my mind I loved Brady. He literally kept trying and fighting and taking care of his woman and it was amazing. I mean, he had a man killed and wanted to watch. Just to make sure she was safe. Lilly was nothing but a ball of anxiety all the time. I found it annoying but kept reminding myself if I was being stalked, I would be the same. Overall I loved this book the characters and the plot.

Thank you to #Netgalley and #DreamscapeMedia for the ARC. The Sinner was full of tension, suspense and of course spice. Brady and lily's story starts fast, with lust and want. That turns to suspense, passion and love. I loved this book, it was a wild ride. Looking forward to the going back and reading book 1 and 2.
