Marni Mann is one of my go-to authors to read Billionaire Romance. It's not my go-to genre, but I like to read the good things in every genre.
.
Lily is Brady's beautiful fly attendant on the first commercial flight he has taken in years. and from the first moment he sees her he can't stop thinking about her.
.
After sharing a night together, she disappears as they had agreed and Brady begins to realize that he doesn't even know her last name.
.
Six months later they meet again by chance and Brady realizes that it was not by mistake that he could not contact her again. Lily hides a secret and with that secret her entire life in a suitcase ready to run.
.
Steamy scenes, perfect moments and an alpha man who becomes the sweetest and most attentive for the love of his life, willing to protect her and give his life for her.
.
I don't want to give away spoilers, but I was really hoping something else would happen, I just don't know what. I have read other books by her and I didn't expect Brady to be capable or to get his way, but I love that Lily didn't judge him differently and that it's wasn´t a reason for a third act breakup
.
The narration was smooth and Ava Erickson did a good job in Lily’s voice but I have to say that I enjoyed more Tor Thom, in the voice of Brady
.
Thanks to Marni Mann and DreamScape media for give me a copy of this beautiful audio book in exchange for mi honest and voluntary opinion

The Sinner is a spicy romance in the Spade Hotel series. Brady and Lily have an instant, undeniable attraction. Both are complex characters that I didn’t really understand. They were entrenched in their positions until they weren’t. It felt like they did a complete 180 without any reasoning. There is a lot left unsaid and more story development was needed for me to be immersed in their story.

Ava Erickson’s narration brought Lily to life. Tor Thom has a distinct voice that I enjoy. It didn’t match up to the character in this instance.

✨ The Sinner ✨

Miss Mann came in HOT with the spice on this one. WOOOOAHHHH!!! If you are into grumpy, Alpha Males that are protective, possessive, and worship their women- you will LOVE Brady Spade. The physical attraction between Brady and Lily was dripping off the page. This felt so different from the first two books in the series- there was definitely some suspense and darker elements than normal and I was HERE FOR IT!

This book is a part of an interconnected series where characters overlap but it would be a really easy one to read on its own too!

Thank you so much to Marni Mann, Netgalley, and Valentine PR for this gifted ARC and ALC..

(Audiobook listener)

I enjoyed this book a lot. The FMC was a great character. And the situation was cool and twisty. I wish the MMC was a bit darker (😂😂 maybe I read too much dark romance) but overall really enjoyed the book. The audiobook was great. I love Ava and Tor.

The Sinner is the third book in the Spade Hotel series but reads totally fine as a standalone, but I am definitely going back to read all the others. It is a fun, sweet, spicy, suspenseful romance and I was completely consumed. I love suspense with my romance and this one truly killed it. The chemistry off the bat was OFF THE CHARTS.

Brady is something.. what a man 🥵 he was so in love and obsessed with his girl it made my heart melt. He did EVERYTHING to keep his girl safe. The way he spoiled her and took care of her made me feel all giggly inside. Lilly grew so much during the book, I really loved her growth and how she let him in and let her guard down after what she's been living with her ex.

I gotta praise Mann for her no third act breakup, how the characters stuck through the hardships and just surmounted it together. Absolutely obsessed, loved every second, the suspense truly made it that much better.

🎧 The narration by Ava Erickson & Tor Thom was good. Was it my favorite, no. There were some things I didn't like and that felt off to me during the spicy moments, but the author's writing and storytelling was so good that it truly didn't matter in the end.

✨️Thank you to @netgalley, @dreamscapemedia & @marnimann for my gifted ALC in exchange for an honest review.

The audio book version was great. I love how the audio books can bring the characters to life, the narrators were great. I loved the storyline as well. Lily and Brady....Lily - omg what a strong and fierce FMC - she was such a fighter with what she was going through. Brady...fell hard and I was here for it. I love when the MMC (especially a playboy one) falls so hard for the FMC. There is so much in this book, humor, lots of spice (made me blush, but again here for it), some tears, suspense and of course an HEA. I definitely recommend this audio book if you can - just brings another level!

Full disclosure, I stopped listening about 1/3 of the way thru. Not a fan of the narrator, but liked the book. Will be finishig with the paper copy vs listening to the rest of the audio. Not the most polished author, sometimes she goes for shock factor and full on smut vs developing the story but when you need a little steam and romance this is an ok to go to. Part of a series but can definately read as a stand alone. Recommend book but not the audio.

Brady and Lily meet on a flight and have an instant attraction. This part was a little bit boring for me because I dont usually enjoy instalust. But then it picks up when they meet months later and Brady gets to see Lily again after she snuck out the last time.

Lily has quite the backstory that affects a lot of the story and the way that Brady behaves. I think it made this book much darker then the other ones that I have read by Marni. But in the end, Brady would do absolutely anything for the woman that he loves.

I always enjoy Tor Thom as the alpha billionaire role. He was perfect for portraying Brady in his dark moments but also his swoony possessive in love moments. Ava Erickson was an amazing Lily and really brought her to life.

Welcome back to Spade Hotel!

I am loving this series! It's spicy and filled with playboy billionaires and The Sinner is all about Brady. What starts as a one night stand turns into so much more for Brady. He had me swooning for his instant protectiveness and with everything he does for Lily. Lily and her backstory was such a surprise and really drew me into this book. They were perfect for each other!

I listened to the audio of The Sinner and loved Ava Erickson & Tor Thom!

If I rated on my experience listening on audio it was a 3 ⭐️ read overall.

I'll be honest and say i've avoided Marni's recent releases because the storylines felt rinse and repeat * 20.

Surprisingly this book had an altered storyline, however, the insta lust component and lack of character development was definitely still there. The MMC, Brady, was narrated by Tor Thom. While I loved Tor's voice for the male speaking parts, any female parts made me cringe. Every single time I heard is female voice I was pulled out of the story.

This was my favorite one of the series so far! I really enjoyed the narration but the darker side of this storyline drew me in!

Audiobook Review
4.5 stars

I want me a broody swoony Brady.
The smexy scenes between Brady and Lily are squirmy in your seat h0t!
The story was very interesting and kept me engaged. So much I listened in pretty much one seating. I’d just say that the ending of their problem was a bit lacklustre. I was expecting something else/more I’m not sure but the morally grey aspect was superb!!
Tor Thom and Ava Erickson did a brilliant job. I do love the way Tor’s f word comes out…

This series just keeps getting spicier and better! The spice level is hot, hot, hot and oh so yummy! The dual narration with both male and female narrators actually heat the spice up. Brady Spade is all alpha male with a dark and growly demeanor and when you have a male narrator that can bring that growly personality to life, it makes the book and characters that much more intense and enjoyable. However, the book isn't just spice. There is a suspenseful plot that keeps you on the edge of the seat wondering when Lily's vengeful, stalker ex is going to strike again. Once again, Marni Mann has hit it out of the park with a wonderful plot, great characters, incredible spice and hours of entertainment! I can't wait to visit the Spade/Cole family soon or even the Dalton family as this is a spinoff of the Dalton series. Both are worth the price to read or listen too if you are like me and love a good audiobook. I can't wait for more!

The Sinner is the 3rd book in the Spade brothers series and follows Brady Spade. He’s the protective billionaire alpha and she’s a demure flight attendant who’s running from something. Marni combines sexy with suspense! I devoured this in one day. Definitely the perfect spicy read with a bit of unexpected darkness!

The Sinner was my first Marni Mann book. It is the third book in the Spade Hotel series and tells the story of Brad and Lily. I listened to the audiobook version. Both narrators were good and made it easy to get into the story.

~~What I liked~~
-The storyline was interesting and it was an easy read.
-After a rough start, the MMC Brad turned out to be a sweet, thoughtful, and caring guy.
-I enjoyed the hard-to-get nature of Lily, even if the reason behind it wasn't happy.
-Lily and Brad get their HEA.

~~What I didn't like~~
-The book starts out hot and heavy in the lust department. I mean, insta-lust and not being shy about it. It was a bit much for me and then I struggled to see what the relationship was built on after their one night of lust.
-This was a book in a series, and apparently there is a second related series. As I had not read the first books in the series, I could tell that I was missing something. There were too many other people being thrown around with too quick of backstories being told. I understand why authors do this and yes, I was able to finish the book with no problems, but I feel like there was excessive 'supporting and interconnected' characters being represented in the book. More a me problem, I guess.
-I did not care for the way Lily's mysterious 'problem' was ultimately handled.

Overall, I liked this book but don't think I would recommend. I don't think I'll be reading any other books by this author, but maybe I just didn't get her best work? I did enjoy the dual narration of the audiobook, so if you are going to read it, the audiobook was good.

Excuse me? Where do I find myself a Brady because goshdarn! This story focuses on Brady Spade and Lily a steward. They met in a plane and hit it off straight away. I love how Lily’s character is hesitant while Brady was used to getting away with everything until things change for him.

The book was spicy! So be aware of this. Specially if you’re listening to the audio *wink wink*

A solid 4 out of 5!

Okay I need a moment... I'm still drooling 🤤, well Brady... Where are you? Still in Edinburgh? Don't worry, I'm coming for the RARE event in September 😉

In all seriousness, this book, well I already knew it would be hot and spicy, but damn Marni Mann... you continue to surprise me with every book and I absolutely love it.

This audiobook is narrated by Tor Thom and Ava Erickson and let me tell you right now that this duo is 🥵🥵🥵. Tor Thom was the perfect voice to bring Brady to life, deep and sexy voice. Ava Erickson also did a beautiful performance for Lily, a sweet and delicate voice, but also sexy. It was such a great audiobook.

Brady is the perfect Alpha Hero and with the Touch Her & Die vibes 🥵😮‍💨🫠. Don't make me choose one of the Spade brothers or Dalton brothers because it's so hard.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this book, because I was intrigued by Lily's character and her past, what she's been through. I'm totally in love with the Daltons and the Spades 🥰 those men are priceless and fantastic. I loved the banter between all of them.

It was a wonderful story, different from the last one but perfect and the spicy scene... phew so incredibly hot and damn good.

I highly recommend this book and the audiobook.

If you love Billionaire, One Night Stand, Touch Her & Die then don't hesitate and go get them.

They meet on a plane and Brady is obsessed right from the start. He does that typical millionaire thing where he uses his money to try and impress her, but what I liked was she didn’t do that thing where these people refuse help/money/gifts because of… I don’t know… pride or something. That would not be me. I’d be like, you’re a millionaire/billionaire so you can afford to buy me a car. Thank you. Do you know how much a billion dollars is?? It’s SO MUCH MONEY!! Anyway, I’ve gone off on a tangent.

The narrators were good and the MC was familiar from some other books I have enjoyed, so I’m sure that helped.

Thanks to #NetGallery and publisher for a copy of this book.

The Sinner is book 3 in the Spade Hotel series. It follows Brady Spade, who is the Sinner in every sense of the word.

The Sinner starts out with Brady having to fly to Scotland via first class on a commercial airline instead of on the company's private jet. He is frustrated that his brother had already booked the jet to take his girlfriend to Hawaii. However, the one benefit of flying commercial, is he can meet a gorgeous flight attendant that entrances him.

Lily is working as the first class flight attendant on Brady's flight. After flirting back and forth throughout the flight, she decides one night of sin would be a welcome reprieve from her life.

Several months later, they cross paths again, this time on Dominic's private jet where the boys are headed to Tampa for a boys night out and Lily is the flight attendant. After another night of sin, they fly home.

On another trip, Brady confronts Lily and she finally starts telling him why her life is so complicated. He immediately jumps in to Savior mode. He wants to keep her safe. But when her past is able to follow her and find her and begins threatening Brady and his family, all bets are off. The Sinner is back but in a different form.

He can't keep this from his brothers, as it could potentially affect them and their loved ones. So when he meets with them and tells them what is going on, all of them are on board to do what it takes to protect Lily at all costs. What an amazing family. No questions asked. Just pure support.

Brady finally makes the one phone call he was hoping to never have to make. He makes a deal with the devil. When the anticipated phone call is received, he makes sure to take the call in private. He does not want Lily touched by any of this nasty business. Words are said, and then the lights go out.

In the mean time, business progresses. The company purchases a new jet, possibly two, to accommodate the expanded company. The hotel in Scotland is nearly completed. Lily's past is finally put to rest and she can now move on with Brady. So what is in store for these two? Business as usual or marriage and a family? And will everything that has happened bond the Spades with their new business partners, the Coles? Only time will tell.

It is always a joy listening to both Ava Erickson and Tor Thom. Both embodied the emotions of their respective characters, as well as the supporting characters in this book.
