When I was told ARCs were sent I ran to my emails so fast to download this book and email it to my Kindle. I am always excited when Marni releases a new book but this series? I’M OBSESSED. It’s the third book in the series. Books one and two were absolutely amazing and I have been so excited to read book three!
You’ll enjoy this book if you like these tropes…♡
❀ Billionaire Romance
❀ Touch Her & Die Vibes
❀ One Night Stand
❀ He Falls First
❀ Boy Obsessed
❀ Alpha Protector
❀ Romantic Suspense
❀ Undeniable Attraction
❀ Spicy AF
❀ White Knight Hero
❀ No Third Act
I went into this knowing it was going to be amazing. All of Marin’s books are. I haven’t read a book by her that I haven’t loved and obsessed about days after finishing it. If Marni writes it, I’ll read it. She’s an automatic one-click author for me!
Brady Spade, oh…This man? Gah..He’s one grumpy son of a bitch. He’s a rich and reformed playboy. He has a way of making women weak at the knees.
Lily was such a beautiful character. I loved her so much, but my heart broke for her so much. She has a traumatic past and fears that it could frighten Brady away. However, it’s the complete opposite, it makes him love her even more, and it makes him want to be with her even more. He wants to make her happy. She’s endured so much in her life and truly deserves to be happy and he wants to give her that happiness. He’s also extremely protective of her and will go to great lengths to make sure she is safe.
The connection, bond and chemistry between these two was intense and pure. It was hard not to get swept up in their love story. It was addictive and all-consuming.
True to Marni's form, I thought I had the entire plot figured out until she through in a few plot twists that left me sitting there with my jaw on the floor and my head spinning.
This book was extremely well written and had me obsessed from page one! I can’t wait to see what else Marni has up her sleeve!
5 STARS!

This is my second read from the author's work and this is was so different from the last one it read. I love when the same author gives so many different types of characters and plotline, it shows how versatile a single person can write so yeah I am impressed with this one too.
This one has insta love and a element of surprise but the ending seemed a little rushed which I was a little disappointed with, apart from that the characters were wonderfully written and executed too. Eagerly waiting for the next installment in this series.

4.5 stars - I was captivated from the very beginning!
A perfect example of why Marni Mann is an auto-buy author for me! I've enjoyed the Spade Hotel series immensely with each book. The love I have for Brady and Lily is overflowing and my heart is so happy after watching their story unfold.
The audiobook was brought beautifully to life by Ava Erickson and Tor Thom. The narration was superb and really brought the suspense factor to a whole new level. I could feel the steam coming off the pages and listened to it every chance I got.
** Billionaire
** He Falls First
** Stalker
** Suspense
I love when the MMC falls first and completely head over heels. Watching them form a genuine attachment with each other had me rooting for them at every turn. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat, trying to guess what would happen next. Marni Mann can write no wrong, pun intended!

Brady and Lily - they immediately hit it off when they first met. And it was h000t!!!
But both don't want a commitment and so they lost touch.
But OMG Brady!!! He definitely knows what he wants and goes after it.
We met the other characters of the Spade series too.
All in all a great final story of this series.
And the narrators did a great job.

Let me tell you, Marni Mann can write a dirty talking swoon worthy alpha man.
Brady Spade was planning on being an eternal bachelor, but all that changed when he met Lily. But that’s not all - this one brings in suspense too!

The queen of spice is back, y’all! With another scorching hot visit to the most sultry and delicious Spade hotel. Brady Spade, the grumpy mercurial oldest Spade is here with all his alpha smolder and broody energy. Turns out man falls hard and is all kinds of protective and swoony. I love a good heroine in danger storyline, and Lily having a psychotic crazy stalker gives this story a bit more danger and suspense, not to mention I will maim anyone who harms you flavor looks reaaaaallly good on a Spade brother. Brady is definitely my favorite brother of the series after seeing him fall so hard- he’s so grumpy but so in love with her, it’s just swoon worthy. And Lily’s backstory gave this story many emotional layers- her traumatic past and present are heavy. I loved watching her find safety and security with Brady, and even more I loved how thoughtful he was in ensuring her physical and emotional well being. Their chemistry had that normal Marni heat, but it was also really sweet and pure. Definitely my favorite of the series so far!
♠️ Billionaire Alpha
♠️One night stand turns into more
♠️He falls first and harder/man obsessed
♠️Heroine in danger/suspense

♠️Touch her and I will do bad things to you
♠️No third act break-up (praise be!)

♠️Scorching spice

The sinner. Marni Mann does it again. Erotica listen Get ready for the wild ride Make sure you have your ear buds ready

Thank you Netgalley and dreamscape media for the free ALC. My opinions are being left voluntarily. I loved this book had my heart pounding the entire time the suspense the heat the angst. Reform player is a favorite micro trope and will need to take a deeper dive on the authors backlist.
5/5☆

Oh my. Can I say this is my favorite read by Marni so far?! Brady is my new favorite hero by Marni. Sorry Declan. Lol
Brady was definitely grumpy, but the way he's so possessive and protective of Lily makes me melt. 🫠 The chemistry, the tension, the suspense, it was perfect!!! The spice is spicy as always!!!
Lily is a flight attendant, and they met on the flight when Brady was going to Edinburgh. It was definitely the right place at the right time for them. It can totally be fate also. When they landed in Edinburgh, they had an amazing night together. But due to Lily's past, she left with no information. 7 months later, they met again on a flight, and this time Brady is going to make Lily his.
I am so OBSESSED with them. Highly, highly recommend it.
Ava and Tor nailed this audiobook.

Solid addition to the Spade Hotel series!! I loved Brady’s confidence and desire to change Lily’s world. Only note: there’s a situation in this book that I wished had resolved differently and gave Lily more of a role. Still good!!!

3.5 stars
This one was nice and spicy! I really enjoyed the storyline and how everything happened! It was maybe a little Insta lovey for me, but not at the same time? The switch in Brady maybe happened too fast for me? I still really liked it and there’s a suspense element which I love, plus the narrators were excellent! So overall a great read!

What a fun listen! I really enjoyed this spicy billionaire romance. The Sinner is the third book in the Spade Hotel series and focuses on Brady, the grumpy brother.
While traveling for a work trip, Brady sees a flight attendant (Lily) and decides he needs to spend night with her. Lily is the first woman he’d like to see for a second time and he is disappointed to see that she snuck out on him and didn’t leave any contact information. Lily also felt a connection with Brady, but extenuating circumstances prevent her from being involved with anyone.
Brady was exactly what Lily needed! I loved how grumpy he was and how he had a soft side just for her. Brady was confident and was not going to let anything get in the way of them being together. Unlike the other books in the series, The Sinner had a suspense plot that I was living for!
The audio book is told in dual narration and is narrated by Ava Erickson and Tor Thom. I really loved Tor Thom’s narration of Brady. His voice had a growly deep quality that matched perfectly with his arrogant alpha energy.
I’m excited for the next book in the series, which will feature single Daddy Ridge!

Brady & Lily (28) meet on a flight and can't keep their eyes off of each other. After a night of mind blowing loving she's the one sneaking out in the early hours, which is something that has never happened to Brady. Their story continues 6 months later when they see each other again on another flight.
Lily has a backstory that's slowly revealed. While I can feel for what she's been through I didn't feel fully gripped with that part of the story.
I always know what to expect with the MMC's with this author. They're always dominant, alphas and self proclaimed bachelors that never want to be tied down until they're taken by surprise by a special lady and then they're mush for her. Brady would do anything to protect her and that he does. I gotta say I was a bit surprised about something big he did, it was pretty dark and unexpected.
Overall, their chemistry is great and I love not having a 3rd act breakup. Not my favorite of the series, but a fine installment to it.
Series notes:
This one would be fine as a standalone. I felt like some of Dalton's from The Dalton Family series popped in more than the Spade brothers did.
Narration notes:
Seems like Tor has not worked on his lady voice. It'd be great if he only ever had to do male parts because he does a super job with those. I cringe every time it's sexy scene time with him. Ava did great all around.

So, I made the mistake of reading the first book in the series and about a quarter of the second book. I really wish I would have read this one as a stand alone because I found the Spade brothers be a carbon copy of one another. I didn’t like that the author wrote essentially the same male character in every book. The similarities are hard to ignore, from the way they look, to the way they act, even to the way they get down in the spicy scenes… It’s kind of disappointing that the same character was recycled throughout this series.
With that said, did I enjoy The Sinner?
Hell yes I did!
Once I got past the first couple of predictable chapters, the book did take a different turn. I loved Lily’s character and I loved how protective Brady was of her. I really liked that even though Brady wanted her to be safe, he still let her live her life and travel. The bit of mystery and danger this book took on was fantastic, it had me on edge the entire time.
Ava Erickson and Tor Thom nailed these characters perfectly in the audio. This was definitely a good listen and I would recommend it.

Thank you NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Marni Mann for this audiobook. This is my voluntary, honest review.

A swoony alpha billionaire, a meet cute on a plane, gripping mystery, touch her & die vibes and HIGH HIGH heat!! I have been loving the Spade Hotel series but Brady and Lily’s story is now my new favorite so far! The added mystery into this storyline made it a complete page turner that had me captivated until the very end!!!
Brady & Lily. I love a romance with a playboy billionaire who finds a woman who makes him change his ways. The chemistry and passion between them was palpable from the start but THEN Marni throws in the mystery that was so unexpected and I was HOOKED! I don’t want to say much more as this is a book that is SO GOOD reading it as everything unfolds!! Just know I swooned so hard over Brady as this man knows how to communicate!!! He is always giving her a choice in things which was so refreshing to see!! And if you’ve never read a Marni Mann book…expect HIGH spice!!!

AUDIO REVIEW:
An engaging audiobook with an alluring storyline and all the hot romance. This one had me unable to hit pause as I easily devoured it in one day!!! It’s a dual narration by Ava Erickson and Tor Thom who were so well casted for these characters as their voices complimented each other bringing Brady and Lily to life!!
Ava has a soft tone to her voice that brought out all the feeling and emotion Lily is experiencing. She also has a captivating edge to her voice that will keep you on the edge of your seat as the mystery unfolds. Then there is Tor who has a very deep, strong voice that completely embodied the age and vibes of Brady, who is a grumpy billionaire and the oldest Spade brother. Together their performance showcased the chemistry between Lily and Brady while keeping you entranced into this mysterious storyline!! Definitely recommend listening to this one on audio!!!!

Quick Summary: A potent dose of sizzle and spice
My Review: The Sinner by Marni Mann is book #3 in the Spade Hotel series.
About the Book: A billionaire who always gets what he wants meets his match when a woman on the run turns his world upside down.
With dark tones, a line gets crossed when "The Sinner" crosses paths with the woman of his dreams.
About the Narration: The Sinner was narrated by Ava Erickson and Tor Thom. This team did an incredible job of expressing the character emotions. Listening was quite the experience.
My Final Say: This romance novel had a different tone to it. It was disturbing and complicated. The ex was something else and surely made his presence known. The dilemma that the leads faced was a hard one, to be certain.
Other: The heat between the leads nearly rendered me unconscious. Their coming together was...explosive. (I'll leave it there.)

Listened to this as a standalone, but it’s the third book in the series. I didn’t feel it took away from not knowing the 1st to stories.
a billionaire romance, Really enjoyed this story and can't wait to read more about the Spades. Ava Erickson did a great job narrating; as for Tor Thom I didn’t enjoy as much but he still did a good job.

This book is exactly what I would expect from a darker romance (not necessarily “Dark”). All spice, little plot. The mysterious and dangerous ex plotline fell flat for me. Despite how “violent” he was, I didn’t buy it. I never cared, the stakes never felt super high.
There was a ton of spice and a lot of cheesy dialogue. I did not vibe with Marni’s dirty talk. Here are a couple examples:
“I thought I knew what perfection was.” His eyes fixed on mine. “I was wrong. Because never in my whole fucking life have I ever seen a body like yours.”
“I’ve literally been hiding my heart and covering my eyes so something like this couldn’t transpire. And then you came along, and to put it bluntly, you charmed the pants off me, and everything I’d been attempting to avert all went to hell.”
I definitely enjoyed this book more with the audiobook. It is dual narrated and though I didn’t love how the male narrator did the FMC’s voice, it’s not the worst I’ve heard. I loved the female narrator. She did a great job with the spicy scenes.
Read this one if you’re in the mood for lots of spice! This book is technically the third in the series but I did not read the first two and did not feel like I was missing anything. It seems like each book follows a different set of MCs.
Thank you to Dreamscape Audio for an ALC of The Sinner. All opinions are my own.

Okay, so I started this book and was a tad hesitant because it started in the typical Marni style of a 'insta-lust, one night stand. HOWEVER, Marni gave us a tad bit of excitement with a mystery Lily's background story and a dash of exciting suspense too it. The ending with this fell a tad flat for me, but overall, I thought it was different than the rest of the series and kept me more focused on the storyline!
Unfortunately, I think I am not a fan of Tor Thom's narrating spicy scenes, if gave me chills at time for not good reasons (also, can we make it a thing that male narrators dont make female 'O' sounds during spicy scenes? its so MEH for me 😅)
Final Rating: 4⭐, 3.25🌶️
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

I absolutely LOVED The Sinner! Brady and Lily's book had all of the heat that all of the Spade/Dalton books have had, but there was mystery and a psycho in this one! I loved the change of pace in the stories. It was refreshing to have a story that added another layer into the story and it wasn't just about an alpha male who pursues and gets the woman of his dreams. Lily had a lot of baggage and Brady fought for her every step of the way.
I love this series and how it ties in with some of Ms. Mann's other series. It's fun to see all of the characters pop in and out of each book. Great crossover! And I feel like I'm getting updates on their lives. The writing is HOT and the story is great!
I listened to this audiobook and it was great! The narrators did an amazing job pulling me into the story and not letting me go. I had to know how it ended! Great job!
