We never want to imagine the worst case scenario, but that's exactly what happened to Nicole Kear. She's 19 when she's diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa - a death sentence to her eyesight!
She decides to keep the diagnosis to herself, and goes off on a what I'd call a 'life-spree'! Attempting to pack in every wild, crazy thing possible in the 10 years before it's anticipated that her eyesight will be completely gone! She even gets a driver's license!!
It's a wake-up call to all of us. If she can manage to do all this on borrowed time (well, at least for her eyes), then why aren't the rest of us living our best life every day?
This uplifting, inspiring, warm, often funny, book is a reminder to all of us to LIVE, while we're alive!
