A cute story. This book feels like it is setting up the story to come and setting everything in motion. That doesn't mean it feels like it's just dumping information on you constantly but rather like it's leaving bread crumbs for you to follow.

It was the title which captured my fantasy :) I don't read many mafia romances but the few I read were interesting.
The story is about Davina who is an elite nanny (so funny :D). She has a tragic past and wants to investigate her parent's death. The best opportunity for that is as a nanny of Gabriel's son (who will inherit the boss title after his great uncle).
I love the chemistry between Davina and Gabriel. Can't wait for the next chapters (which are available on Webtoon ;) ).
Also the scenes and the characters are drawn beautifully!

Absolutely loved the artwork! However the actual storyline wasn’t for me. It was good, don’t get me wrong. I just felt it was a bit cheesy. Although it was very easy to read and understand and I found it to be entertaining.

I am obsessed with this story, it was full of action and a nanny who can fight, please I was devouring this in one sitting. It was so entertaining and the art was beautiful. The story itself had me at the edge of my seat.

This was so good so far. It’s defo a four star mainly because it kept me engaged and the end had me wanting more. If you want something quick, entertaining, and has tropes such as nanny, single dad, mafia, then you’ll enjoy this one.

Let me start off by saying thank you, Netgally and Webtoon, for providing me with an advance copy of the mafia nanny. Davina reminds me of Katie Holms, Miss Meadows. I would love to know from Sh00 and Violet Matter where they got the inspiration for the character. The rivalry between Gabriel and his uncle—I can't wait for them to explore that even more, along with the relationship between Davina and Gabriel. This one snagged my attention from the moment it hit the WEBTOON app and I’m so so glad to see that it’s almost immediately getting an unscrolled version!! Very much deserved in my opinion and, while I’m still keeping up with the app’s version of the story, experiencing the unscrolled version and having definitive beginning and ending for the first volume was an absolute delight.

Now for the story in general:
I absolutely adored how The Mafia Nanny takes a beloved romantic combo—single dad trope mixed with nanny romance— and gives it a mafia flare. I mean you see the sizzle build for the romance, but it being mafia makes it so that isn’t the only focus of the story. There’s a nanny that’s so incredibly bad*ss with her extensive training and analytical computer skills with a history of her own. There’s the bond slowly developing with little Mikey as well as just experiencing Mikey in general as a child raised so closely in the Family. And of course, there’s that whole aspect of on-the-edge, who-can-we- trust with every single character because someone has harmed this father/son duo in the past by taking away someone the two of them love and they’re not stopping just because a nanny is now in the picture.

Rereading the origin of this story all over again while simultaneously being caught up on the WEBTOON app was honestly such a delight. Remembering why I fell for the story in the first place and reminding myself of the initial interactions between all of the characters and seeing where they’re at now: very much an amazing view.

Thank you to the team at WEBTOON and Netgalley for the chance to experience this unscrolled version early. While I love the original scrolled version, something about the page flipping brings a joy to my soul. I cannot wait for this story to meet more readers with this new format!

I really enjoyed this story. A girl with familial ties to the mafia decides to go to this prestigious nanny school after losing her parents. She is hired as the nanny for a mafia’s son. She is super badass and I love Mikey’s and Gabriel’s characters. I do wish I could see a bit more of them, but it makes sense that we are not learning a ton about them due to the nature of their relationship with the protagonist. The book jumps into action very quickly and gives us good backstory without dragging on. It discusses heavy topics while keeping the mood lighter which helps make this easier to read. The characters are well developed and their motivations are clear. The dialogue is natural and I love the tension growing.

This was an interesting comic! It had humor but also serious themes when needed. It’s something I’m definitely interested in continuing whenever I have the chance.

It was produced very well. No wonder it’s a popular webtoon… The story follows a young boy named Mikey and his nanny Davina. Davina is trained in a specialty nanny program. When she gets hired to work for the Angelini family, she finds her chance to get answers to her past…but her plan might not be so clear-cut as she once thought as she navigates daily life with the Angelinis.

Overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit and I look forward to reading the next installment of the series!

The best way I know how to describe The Mafia Nanny is imagine Midnight Poppy Land and Purple Hyacinth had a baby but increase the humor and action. And so far that formula is working. This volume contains episodes 1-12 of the Webtoon comic (that you can read for free on the Webtoon app). I don't usually go for storylines with kids in it, but it's been good so far. The FL and ML chemistry is still in barely simmer territory and the mafia plot is just getting started. I'll definitely be continuing the comic but I hope the romance takes center stage soon.

I absolutely ADORE this series!! The worldbuilding is wonderful, the artwork is gorgeous, and I was immediately drawn into Davina's story. The tidbits of clues and unraveling mystery are so well paced, and Davina's relationships with the other characters are so good. Gabriel is a fantastic second lead and has his own interesting backstory that I'm dying to know more of. And Mikey (crying emoji, heart emoji) can we talk about how much I love Mikey? He's absolutely precious, and the mafia dad angle is so uniquely done here. I can't wait for the second volume!

Loved it hate that it ended can’t wait till the next volume , to give us alil more romance. The son was cute and love that the female is a bad ass

Wonderful drawings! Great characters, and fast-paced, witty, and endearing plot line. Davina steals the show, Mikey brings the fun, and Gabriel sets off all the right fireworks! The secondary characters have personality of their own that just keeps the entire storyline interesting. 10/10

This was so much fun! I love Davina, she is so fierce. The illustrations are nice and I like the character development and the the way the plot takes its turns. It was hard to stop reading until the end.

This was fantastic. I could not put it down once I started reading it. Binged the whole book in one sitting. It was very easy to get into and I already love the main characters with all my heart. The art style is absolutely stunning as well.
