If you enjoy Spy X Family, then The Mafia Nanny is absolutely for you. We have a badass FMC with a vendetta, an adorable kid who only wants to wear suits, and his father who happens to be the head of the mafia. There’s action, tension, banter, and suspense. What else could you ask for? I’ve actually been reading this series on Webtoon and I’m so excited to see that it’s going to be published as a graphic novel!

This was a cute and fun read. Davina is a elite nanny and she is hired to protect the son of the underboss of the mafia. She quickly assumes her role and is tested multiple times to ensure that she is indeed the right person to protect Mikey.

Life in Gabriel’s mansion is one of wealth and privilege and Davina never quite settles into it, but does everything in her power to get her job done well.

This was the beginning of what I have a feeling will be an adventurous and romantic webtoon in the vein of Spy X Family. If you love Spy X Family you will enjoy The Mafia Nanny. It is high stakes and full of adorable family moments and I adored every moment.

The art is beautiful and it reads as if you’re watching a anime unfold. It has everything that a great webtoon has to offer: good story, great characters, some mystery, amazing art, and a hook that will keep you coming back for more. I can’t recommend this story enough!

This book was great! I can't wait to read what happens next! There was just the right amount of teasing at a deeper storyline and hints about the mysteries in the novel. I am very invested and very intrigued! I need to know the connections between the main characters. Enjoyed this one very much. The plot moved at a very good pace, with sprinkles of intrigue, and was very well done.

The Mafia Nanny is a fun and engaging graphic novel that’s easy to dive into. The full-color pages make the reading experience even more enjoyable, bringing the story and characters to life. The art style is adorable, especially the young boy, whose design and personality are incredibly charming. His interactions with the protagonist are heartwarming and often humorous.

The plot is still unfolding, with plenty of mystery surrounding both main characters, which keeps me eager to read more. The balance of lighthearted moments and intrigue makes this a captivating read. I’m excited to continue the series and see where the story goes next!

I'm slowly starting to get more and more into graphic novels and this one had two of my favorite things. Mystery and tension filled romance. What a fun read!

Davina, a recent graduate of the Elite Nanny Academy, has just landed her first official assignment. She’s been hired as a nanny/bodyguard for the precocious four-year-old son of a notorious mob boss. Do I even need to mention that the kid is hilarious and the boss is a super-hot single dad?

This manga is definitely not going for realism. It has a heightened, often silly plot and delivers lots of laughs. I definitely recommend this one for fans of Spy X Family! I’m looking forward to following this series.

Davina lost her parents and glittering life as a child and was rescued by her nanny, who took her to an academy for elite nannies and showed her how to survive anything and protect other children like her. She's just graduated and awaiting her first assignment when mafia boss, Gabriel Angelini, selects her to protect his son while he goes about his dangerous business. It's going to be a hard job for Davinia because not only is the son not interested in being babysat, but the dad is a link to finding out what really happened to her parents. Can she find the truth, protect the child, and avoid falling for the handsome and mysterious dad?

Color me intrigued by this 3.5-star read because it has potential but is obviously the setup so it's not as satisfying a read. It might be partly on me because I could see all the twists from pages away as I've read way too many mafia boss books to count. The element of an 'elite nanny' is a fun twist on those stories, so I'm looking forward to the second volume and getting some answers and more pages with Davina and Gabriel.

The Mafia Nanny is a triple threat with the perfect balance of romance, action, and comedy. An elite nanny and a mafia underboss work together to keep his son safe.

The story starts with a flashback of Davina's past before she gets involved with the Elite Nanny Academy. She trains hard in multiple subjects to be the perfect nanny and be prepared for her first assignment, which happens to be with a mafia underboss Gabriel. Her job is to keep his son Mikey safe.

I love the dynamic they all bring to the story. Davina is there for Mikey as a protector and even as emotional support. She has felt the same emotions and can really connect with him and Gabriel. The comedy is hilarious and I enjoyed the banter. I feel like there may be something romantic between Gabriel and Davina in the future and would love to see how it all plays out in the coming volumes.

Working for an elite nanny service, Davina has been asked personally to protect to grandson of a Mafia boss.. who she suspects had a hand in killing her parents. Though she’s determined not to get involved in the shady mafia business, she knows Gabriel may give her the answers she needs to uncover the truth, but keeping Mikey safe is harder than she anticipated!

My partner has been harangling me to read Mafia Nanny for a while now, because he read it on Webtoon and binged it all in one go.

While I did find this to be very addictive read, I found the characters to be very interesting, and their developing interpersonal relationships wholesome.
My problem is that this plot in every way feels like the plot of a Spicy Romance Book you'd pick up off of Kindle Unlimited. But we're never going to get to a "Spicy" scene, just continue to be edged.

But even without the Spice it is good and I would recommend it. Mikey is a Good Boy, and deserves all the love.

This was so fun to read. This is webtoon ep 1-12, for anyone curious. The son was so adorable and just wanted to be like his daddy. I'm excited to see how Davina will continue to care for this family, while also seeking her own answers.

I know this is going to be a great new addition to my manga collection.

This series has sucked me in! I love the mystery element along with the tension filled romance. I can't wait to see what happens next.

After I saw glimpse of this WEBTOON on social media. I knew I just had to read it. I love the storyline so far in the art style of it. I love the fact that you get action mystery. Also, it feels like there’s gonna be a little bit of a romance between the mafia underboss and the nanny. I also love the different facial expressions that all these characters have. And how they expressed their emotions. I like the fact that Davina is a strong, powerful woman. That is trying to figure out what happened in her past and also trying to make sure nothing happens to Mikey. Gabriel’s character is a mystery because you wanna figure out what happened to his wife. And you wanna know what’s gonna happen between Davina and him. Mikey’s character carries so much for him being so young. I also can’t wait to see what his career development will be through this story. I cannot wait to read the next volume of The Mafia Nanny.

This first book is mostly about the setup, slowly revealing everyone's motives, but doing it in a really fun way. I loved the three main characters: Davina, Gabriel Angelini, and Mickey. Mickey is really cute and fun, especially when he acts all tough and grown up, but then we get to see his kid side too. I'm loving the father-son relationship, and exploring how his father having to leave and deal with work at times is affecting Mickey, probably also influenced by what happened to his mom. Gabriel seems like a great dad, and I love their bond. I also love Davina. Not only is she great with Mickey, being able to redirect a toddler is hard, but I appreciate how she's there for him emotionally, too. She's extremely competent, and I'm very intrigued by her motivations and how she's balancing being a bodyguard nanny while carrying out her own plans. I love when smart character try to outsmart each other, especially when one thinks they've got the upper hand, only to find out it was the other way around.

There were a few instances where directionality of where the character were headed changed between panels and when the arrangement of the panels were laid out to be read top the bottom, left to right instead of left to right then top to bottom, but overall it didn't hinder my enjoyment, just something I noted as someone who's dabbled in comics. Also, once I knew the intended reading order, I could adjust how I read them when I came across those instances.

Overall, I really loved this book. I would definitely recommend it, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I love WEBTOON and I didn’t even know this was on there. I got an ARC of the first few chapters that will be published and was hooked. Finished the ARC in about an hour and ran 🏃‍♀️ to WEBTOON to see if it was still there and it was. This is about a wealthy girl who lost her parents one night and was protected by the nanny who then took her to an elite nanny school where she trained to become a nanny and protect other children, just like her nanny did to her. Now in her first job she has been hired by a mob underboss to care for his son. But the tension between the two is hot and keeps you wanting to read more. If you’re thinking of picking this up don’t take too long just grab and enjoy.

This one reminds me of spy x family, same energy, which I love. The storyline is basically a nanny who went to a special boarding school for mafia nannying 😂😂 Again this storyline is so cute it was such a fun weekend read!!

The Mafia Nanny started on Webtoon and now is being printed. I loved this story and the start of a mystery adventure within the dark underground of the mafia. If you want some comedy, suspense, and romance, this is the graphic novel for you!

I KNEWWWWWWW IT! Sorry, I needed to get that out when I saw the last page! I guessed something important to the story, at least, I think I did. We’ll see as the story progresses.

This was a perfect, quick read that left me wanting to run to WebToon immediately to continue after I finished the volume!! Which tells me all I need to know about the series as a whole. It’s action-packed to the point where I didn’t stop reading until it was done. Not even to look at the clock and the time just flew on by.

Not only does our MC, Davina, have secrets that she wants to uncover by taking this job, because (not so) funny enough, her parents were killed by the same family she is now working for, but the Angelini family as a whole is full of mystery waiting to be uncovered. As a crime syndicate based out of Venice, Italy, it isn’t normal for the second in command, as well as the heir to the “throne”, to just move to France. There are reasons and I need to know whyyyyyyyyy?!?

Also, Gabriel Angelini isn’t just a snack, he’s the WHOLE MEAL!!!! I would not be ashamed to call him Daddy!🥵

If you take Spy X Family, Mary Poppins, and maybe a bit of The Godfather, mix them all together and add great comedic bits throughout, you’d get The Mafia Nanny.

4.25 stars. The Mafia Nanny is one of my absolute favorite WEBTOON comics and I’m stoked it’s being published! Volume 1 is a great introduction to the characters that you will get to know and love over the course of this comic. This story is the perfect combination of suspense, action, comedy, and the slowest of slow burns that has me ecstatic for any tiny crumb of romance between Davina and Gabriel.

The art is FANTASTIC and adds so much to the story, the chapters are a perfect, satisfying length that more often than not will leave you asking more questions and wanting even more of this epic adventure!

I don’t really have any feedback for this, I enjoyed it so much. A perfect blend of romance and action, with a female lead who is very interesting herself. I have found a new series I love! Thanks for lending me the copy.
