What a fun start to a graphic novel series! I was hooked from the first page! I love the premise of the story- a young graduate from the Elite Nanny Academy gets hired by a (HOT) single dad mafioso to look after his son (who is adorable!) She is also trying to find some answers about her past, answers this family might have. Mystery and intrigue follow. I am solidly hooked now, and cannot wait for the next volume. The art style is amazing as well!

While I did enjoy the artwork and characters in this story, I found that the ending of the volume to be very abrupt. To be honest, it also didn't end with a hook that had me interested in continuing this story, I'm definitely content with what I read but I'm also content to leave it at this volume and move forward with other books.

It's been a hot minute since I read any graphic novels. I devoured them in school when it was nearly impossible to get them in Canada. I was curious to see if I still would enjoy them as much as I did in school. And the answer is yes. This is a fun and fast-paced story and a great start to a series. Everything seamlessly came together to create a really enjoyable reading experience. I think anyone who likes action stories and is looking for a new series to sink into should give The Mafia Nanny a try.

This was such a fun read and great introduction into the series. I literally devored it very quickly and went to webtoon to read more. I had been meaning to check this series out and thankful that NetGalley and Wattpadbooks for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Davina was young when her parents were tragically and mysteriously killed. Her nanny rescued and raised her. While raising her Davina trained to become an elite nanny that can take care of children who are in high risk families. She's given her first job for a family who might have information on how her parents were murdered.

First volume focuses on an introduction to the story and is a combination of a few of the first few episodes of the comic. It has action and humor. The art is very well done and I could easily see this being translated into a anime of some sorts. If you enjoy Spy Family, you'll enjoy this.

The Mafia Nanny follows Davina, an elite nanny who's equipped with special skills. Her first assignment out of the Elite Nanny Academy is to protect the young son of the Venetian mafia underboss, Gabriel Angelini. What her new employer doesn't know is that Davina herself has some past connections to the mafia.

OMG. This is my absolute favourite ongoing webtoon. I'm obsessed with it!! I'm so glad that it's getting published in print 😍 This volume covers episodes 1 to 12, and you're going to be so hooked to this story that you'll head to the webtoon app to immediately continue reading. Let me warn you though: it is absolute torture waiting for a new episode every week 😂 But ohhh the wait is always worth it.

This webtoon perfectly balances fun and dark. We get to have a lot of fun through Mikey and Davina. We also get to explore the dark world of organized crime through Gabriel. You will absolutely fall in love with Davina, Mikey, and Gabriel. Mikey is the cutest little boy in his tiny suits; he is such a scene stealer. And get ready for the slow burn romance because the tension between Davina and Gabriel will make you sweat 😮‍💨

I've been looking for a romance novel similar to this webtoon, but all of my efforts have been in vain 😂 This story is too unique. If you're a romance reader, then The Mafia Nanny is a must-read!!

Absolutely charming—subverts a few tropes that could use subverting more often! Doesn’t hurt that everyone is hot and competent. (Or that the adorable Mikey makes for the perfect beating heart of the story.) 5/5 stars—I can’t wait to get my hands on the physical copy !

I can’t say no to a hot mafia dilf. This is the perfect blend of action, humor and spicy tension. the characters are instantly like-able and the art is wonderful!

I truly love this series so so much; I cannot get enough of it. It has beautiful tension and thrill! And has a great balance of action, comedy, and a little bit of romance. I started binging this on webtoons one night and have read it multiple times. Highly recommend 10/10!!

I had seen this webcomic floating around for quite a bit and for some reason never took a chance on it. That is until now... Did I end up running to Webtoons to power read all the available panels for this webcomic? Yes, yes I freaking did and have zero regrets! This was so freaking good! I love all the characters, I desperately want to know more about Davina and her parents, I love the relationship that's blooming between Davina and Mikey, and I freaking adore how Mikey loves ducks! There's so much I could freaking say about this first volume, but then I'm worried it'll go into spoilers. If this has been on your radar for a while, you like mafia romances, revenge stories, then you should pick this webcomic up ASAP and thank me later for giving you that little push you needed!

deff perfect for everyone who loves single dad x nanny trope and mafia, it was exactly like those kinds of books but in graphic novel form and that made it soo much better.

There was action, there was humor, there was intrigue. Mafia Nanny is an immersive story about a young woman with a dark past, seeking to protect her charge while trying to figure out her enigmatic employer. I predict there may be romance between them in the future??? While I likely won't be continuing this series, I enjoyed the journey.

I raced right through this in one sitting! What an interesting plot. Definitely didn't see a lot of the twists coming, and the art is very pleasing.

This webtoon absolutely delivers, and I can totally see why it’s so popular. Every character is charismatic and likable, but Mikey—sorry, the milkman—is especially adorable and steals the show. This volume strikes the perfect balance between being lighthearted and maintaining just the right amount of tension.

Even though it’s fast-paced with lots of action, the romantic tension between Davina and Gabriel is just as intense. Their chemistry really adds another layer to the story, making it all the more addictive.

The title and cover might come off as a bit cheesy, but it looks like were going to get a really good story. Overall, this is such a fun and engaging read, and I’m so happy they decided to publish this one!

I picked this one up on a whim - I've been slumpy and was looking for something fun and easy to read. Well, mission accomplished 😂. The romance hasn't come into play yet but it was fun getting to know the characters and seeing their initial interactions. I chuckled several times at Davina's tactics to get Mikey to collaborate. Not gonna lie, Gabriel (Mikey's dad) also has me 👀👀👀. All in all, the storyline has been a tad predictable so far but I'm curious to see how the story develops in vol 2.

I read this story as a webtoon story. I love this story and loved seeing that it will be published. This book has action, drama, and romance! Everything you want in a story.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this webtoon in full rather than in disjointed chapters due to my struggles with collecting enough coin to unlock the next chapter. I have already read a few chapters of The Mafia Nanny before I received NetGalley access, so I knew already that I liked the premise and the first 3 chapters. I feel that this story is a bit less romance and a lot more mystery than I had first presumed it would be when I first began reading. I think the cutoff point/cliffhanger at the end of the book/chapter was perfect. Just enough that I want to read more and will be willing to buy the next book if it is available soon OR force myself to spend my precious coins/inks/gems/etc. on the next chapters.
The characters are beautiful and I love that the child, Mikey, is not just an afterthought to push the story along because the main character, Davina, is a nanny. I did think the pacing was too slow for me, especially the middle chapters at times, but I have to remember that there are more chapters. I just want to know everything all at once!!!

Mafia Nanny quickly became one of my favorite webtoons of all time. The storyline flows seamlessly, striking the perfect balance between action and romance. It's rare to find something that feels both wholesome and keeps me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Absolutely 10/10!

When I first finished this, I instantly wanted to draw comparisons to Spy x Family. In retrospect, I think that’s only because this series is a comic with a crime-based found family premise. But that’s where the similarities stop. The MC, despite having her own motivations for infiltrating this mafia family as a nanny, feels oddly blank slate to me. The same kind of smooth, surfaceless female leads you see in Wattpad - made to be an easy self insert but with remarkable abilities (ie. hacking) that help move the story along.

That being said, I didn’t hate this. I can tell it’s setting up a romance between the mafia dad and the nanny MC but in reality the most interesting relationship is his son’s grudging friendship with the nanny. Maybe I’m just a sucker for seeing someone step into a parental role for a grumpy kid who actively wants to reject them.
