Quick Summary: A love of a lifetime romance
My Review: Wished by Sarah Ready is book #4 in the Ghosted series.
About the Book: Is love at first sight real? Can it be, if it is associated with a wish? Is it possible to find the person you were meant to be with in a distorted reality? Can two souls who are destined to be together find their way to one another no matter what obstacles may come?
In this wonderfully creative, wholly magical romance, a wealthy businessman and his lowly employee find themselves catapulted into a dreamlike fantasy world. As they seek to find their way back to reality, feelings develop and secret desires unfold.
My Final Say: Sarah Ready has written another enchanting story, and I am over the moon about it. I absolutely loved this book. Everything about it was golden.
Both the audiobook and the e-book provided the just right reading experience. This gem goes on my besties shelf, without question.

Sincere appreciation is extended to the author, to the publishers, and to NetGalley. Thank you for granting access to this title in exchange for an honest review. It was my absolute pleasure to read/listen to this amazing novel. The entire series is exceptional. I look forward to reading more from this writer.
I was a bit bummed with this one. I’ve loved this series and really enjoyed Fated. I just didn’t feel like I got the connection between the main characters as much and it felt more sexual passion than love.
Wished is the 4th book in Sarah Ready's Ghosted series. Since there's very little references to the previous books, it could easily be read as a standalone, though there are some possible spoilers in the epilogue if you intend to eventually read the earlier books.
I thought this was an enjoyable read. It's not surprising that we experience some insta-love along the way, given Anna's love at first sight and then reality changing from a wish. There's some pretty intense feelings involved that turns up the spice. I enjoyed some of the philosophical aspects that the book explores, such as the impact of changed realities, freedom of choice, and the things that make people happy. There was at least one aspect of the scenario that was never really explained, though given the magical/paranormal aspect the story is based on, that might be explanation enough for most people. This book definitely brings a rollercoaster of emotions.
Thank you to Swift & Lewis Publishing LLC, Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), Members' Titles and NetGalley for the early review copy of Wished! All opinions expressed are completely my own.
An enchanting romance that sweeps you off your feet with its clever plot and endearing characters. When a magical wish turns Anna's life upside down, the journey is both heartwarming and captivating. If you're craving a feel good read that blends romance with a touch of magic, this book is a must read.
A cute magical story 💕
What if one morning you woke up and your wishes came true? What if unexpectedly your whole life changed and you were exactly where you wanted to be?
A story of a grumpy workaholic that falls for a selfless dreamer after an unexpected series of events. A fairy-tale that I could read again, and again and again. Perfect for the hopeless romantics 💕
A really big thank you to Swift & Lewis Publishing LLC/Independent Book Publishing Association, Sarah Ready and #Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to listen to the audiobook prior to its release, in return of an honest review.
Sarah is entertaining my delusions with this series! I absolutely fell for Max and I just loved Anna as the protagonist.
i kinda liked this book but it feels like something is missing.
but i still think this is a good book that could entertain some people.
2.5/5
I think this might have been my favourite book from the whole series as I really loved Anna and Max. Anna worked in Max's home as a cleaner and from the very first time she met him she fell head over heels. Of course Max never noticed Anna and was not a fan of love.
One day as Anna is cleaning She sees some jewellery on a table and a note underneath about making a wish. So she wishes she was married to Max not thinking anything of it...until she wakes up in a bed that isn't her own. in a very big house and realises her wish came true...but is it the fairytale she expected?
Such a fun story highly recommend!

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an arc
I am not a magical realism, I'll say that loudly. But I read this because I wanted something different, and boy did I enjoy this. It was a unique premise and I enjoyed my time reading it.
It was fun, I had a good time. I liked seeing the way both characters reacted to the "wish".
The ring spelling out "Wished" absolutely sent me this morning when I read it. I wrote it down in my notes because of that.

I have never read a Sarah Ready book before and this one not only looked interested but sounded interesting too, and it held up too! I did not read the previous books in the series, however, it was still good and the previous books are something I need to read.
The story is overall fun, there are some things that could be improved upon, but yet still charming and cute. Anna is such a sweetheart, she needs a bit more rounding but you can fall in love with her instantly. She honestly just wants to be noticed and loved back the way she loves, and I’m happy she gets that. Max on the other hand, there is morally grey and then there is rude. Sometimes, a bit hard to differentiate which one I was being given at times, but he develops and becomes liked the more he finally opens up.
The one thing I loved about this read was the concept of the necklace and the wish, it’s very different and unique for a couple to genuinely fall in love through a parallel universe. I also loved the description of the architecture. It made everything sound so beautiful.
Max’s point of view could have been added to enhance the writing and the storyline, getting his opinions and thoughts so we see both perspectives and understandings on how each character gets to that HEA. There were a few things missing also that I think could’ve made this a 4.5 ⭐️.
Overall, this is an enjoyable read with short chapters if you’re looking for something quick, with a great concept of magical realism.
* Thank you to NetGalley for the arc!

My thoughts:
Sarah Ready continues to astonish with her entire Ghosted series!! I've sung her praises before, and I'll gladly do so again. Her books have a special place in my heart, and this latest release has now become my all-time favorite among her works. With each new installment, she consistently surpasses expectations,, showcasing her remarkable talent. After reading the first three books in the Ghosted series-all of which topped my favorite list each year-I knew this one would be just as extraordinary, and it certainly is! This magical, emotional, charming, whimsical, heartwarming and beautifully written paranormal romance is a story that will stay with me forever. Plus, the book covers for this series are absolutely gorgeous, perfectly capturing the enchanting spirit of the tales inside. Sarah Ready is a true master of her craft, and I sincerely hope this dreamy series never ends. I wholeheartedly recommend and it deserves and endless supply of wishing stars!!!💫💫💫💫💫✨✨✨✨✨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Synopsis:
When Anna Benoit wishes she were married to the enigmatic owner of the chateau she cleans, she wakes up in a topsy-turvy world where she's suddenly Max Barone's wife. Anna is a hopeless romantic who believes in The One and Love at First Sight. Why? Because it happened to her. The moment she laid eyes on Max Barone, she fell desperately, hopelessly in love. It didn't matter that they came from completely different worlds-he owned a jewelry empire, and she cleaned houses. Love, after all, knew no boundaries. Except one: Max didn't even know Anna's name, much less that she existed. Then, one day, Anna made a wish. Suddenly, she's thrust into an upside-down reality where everyone believes she and Max have been married for years. It's passion. It's romance. It's love. It's everything she ever wished for. Or is it??
Thank you Netgalley, thank you thank you thank you, for giving me the arc of this book.
What a breath of fresh air this novel was. I confess I was not expecting much from it, actually, I started reading it with no expectations whatsoever, but once I started I simply could not put it down. It has been a while for me since I started a new book and finished in one sitting. I started reading Wished Sunday morning and finished in the evening!
It was my first book ever of this author, and my first in the series. Well, the book can be read as a stand-alone, but there is mention of some previous characters but the only feeling you get is that you are curious about their story, so you want to read the previous books.
Anna and Max romance is so fresh! This was a romance that kept me on my toes every turn of a page, it had everything that I needed but wasn’t expecting. It made me laugh, smile, get tense, shed a tear, everything.
Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
This was my first book by this author. I really enjoyed it! I’m a sucker for books where there’s alternate storylines or Groundhog Day experiences! Super cute, quick read. I loved the audiobook narrator.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the advance audiobook.
Wished by Sarah Ready is like stepping into a romantic daydream, but with the kind of twist that makes you question whether getting everything you want is actually what you need. Anna Benoit is the kind of character I couldn’t help but root for—a hopeless romantic who’s convinced that love at first sight is real because she’s experienced it. The problem? The man she’s fallen for, Max Barone, has no idea she even exists. That is, until a wish turns her world upside down and suddenly, they’re married.
At first glance, it seems like Anna’s living the dream—married to the enigmatic Max, living in his grand chateau, and wrapped up in a life of passion and romance. But as the story unfolds, you realize that this fantasy world isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I found myself drawn into Anna’s internal struggle, watching as she navigated a life that seemed perfect on the surface but was built on a foundation of make-believe.
What really hooked me about Wished was how Ready plays with the idea of wish fulfillment. It’s not just a lighthearted “be careful what you wish for” tale; it’s a deeper look at how our fantasies can blind us to what’s really important. The chemistry between Anna and Max is fun to watch, but the real magic happens as Anna starts to see that maybe, just maybe, there’s more to love than the fairy tale she’s always imagined.
Ready’s writing is whimsical and engaging, and I appreciated how she didn’t shy away from exploring the more bittersweet aspects of Anna’s predicament. It’s a reminder that even when life gives us exactly what we think we want, it’s the unexpected and the imperfect that often bring us the most joy.
In the end, Wished is a romantic, thought-provoking read that made me think about the difference between fantasy and reality—and why sometimes, it’s the messiness of real life that makes love worth it.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me access to this book.
Unfortunately this book fell flat for me. I didn't really resonate with the characters, it seemed quite far fetched and unrelatable. Not one for me I'm afraid
I loved the characters at the beginning and that it was a great way to start at the beginning with his pov, which is different with her other book where it was at the end or we didn't have it.
It was a little hard to like Max at the beginning because of the way he acted was so different at how he was in Fated, which was weird.
It was interesting how we got to see both characters get together but I was conflicted when the plot starts, also it felt a little rushed or out of nowhere how they just start loving each other.
Something that was interesting to see was that this book was much more spicy than the previous books in the series, I loved that it wasn't a long story which made me want to just finish the book, it was a good way to end the series, not the best but it gives so much closure to all this characters.
I am so thankful to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this book and the series in general.
This was not as good as fated, generic, and disapointing, though reflective of the rest of the series which is not in remotely the same world as fated quality wise.
I didn't enjoy this book half as much as any other book in the series. While the premise was engaging and promising, I was confused by the lack of depth in the characters and plot building. From the third book in the series, I was intrigued by Max Barone, but his depiction in this novel doesn't do justice. The insta love didn't feel genuine at all and I'm just sorely disappointed by the execution of this book. The plot didn't exist apart from there being a 'wish'. MC barely had personalities. Side characters had minor to no role in the story. What makes me so upset is that this author is one of my favorites and I'm obsessed with the other books in this series, but this just didn't do it for me.
I've read everything by Sarah Ready and I've loved all of them, and this one was no different. It wasn't my favorite of this series, but it was still very good.
It's got some of my favorite tropes:
. He falls HARD
. Boss x Employee
. More than 2 sex scenes that are VERY steamy <3
I also listened to the audio and the main narrator, Amanda Ronconi, did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. The male narrator, Will Watt, also did an amazing job for the little part that was told from the MMC's POV.
I think I would have liked the story more if I listened to it first instead of reading it first.
This was a fun romance read with a supernatural twist! I've enjoyed all of the books in this series. I liked "Ghosted" and "Fated" a little more because they were a little more suspenseful and dramatic, but I still enjoyed "Wished." I liked how the jewelry played into the plot and I liked the main characters. This book was a little spicier than the others, so be ready for that! I received a free copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
