A nice step by step guide for drawing cartoon-ish food items. After some intro info (which includes a nice guide to different expressions), there are 30 step by step projects for drawing a specific food or drink. The second section is called, "You're An Artist," and has ways to embellish your drawings or make them into scenes.
This book is really fun, and the steps make it easy for even a beginner.

My grandson loves the Art for Kids Hub clips on You Tube. They are a reward, an incentive, a settling down, sitting and drawing for him. Unfortunately, drawing from the book did not appeal to him in the same way. The dialogue between the artist and his family is a big reason for the author's appeal. The book "just isn't the same." Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary digital ARC. The comments are mine and my grandson's.

This was such a treat! I loved being able to sit down with my daughter and draw our little hearts out. This book gave such great instructions and details to follow but it also allowed so much creative freedom. My daughter began to add things that she learned from the previous pages and it was so fantastic to watch. I highly recommend this book to adults with kids in their lives, it's an activity that you could do together and have so much fun.

Each thing is so cute from the hotdog to the sushi rolls to the candy ring. I love the each item includes a cute face. I’m looking forward to seeing my young son draw some of these cute characters!
