This a wonderful engaging cookbook for young chefs. This book makes cooking fun and approachable for kids. Each recipe is simple, with easy-to-follow instructions and colorful illustrations that help guide children through the process. It encourages creativity in the kitchen while teaching basic cooking skills and healthy eating habits. Perfect for parents and kids to enjoy together, this cookbook is a great way to bond over delicious and nutritious meals.

This children's cookbooks includes lots of helpful information at the beginning, bright breakfasts, super snacks, yummy lunches, delicious dinners, and healthy treats, as well as a guide for grownups after the glossary. Food terms, nutrition guidance and kitchen safety are explained in words that kids can understand, and I like the text boxes with tips. These tips include "healthy habits" for making healthy choices.
The cookbook encourages parents and children to spend time cooking and learning together and gives "helping hand" tips and you will also find "chef's tips" for different cooking options and ideas for ingredient swaps or replacements.
Each recipe has a real photo, a short description, lists the servings, cooking/prep time, a thorough list of ingredients and tools needed, then a child friendly list of directions. The sample images look very appealing and use the characters from the show, and there are also real photo images of the characters throughout the cookbook with the tip boxes. The recipes included actually sound good yet are simple enough for children to understand and assist with.
I love that this is formatted as an e-book for my own family at home, but I would also love to get a hard copy for my elementary school library! My students LOVE checking out cookbooks and I often have parents send me photos of their children's creations made from the recipes inside. I have no doubt this one would be well loved and circulated, and an amazing option for the younger students who may not be interested in the more complicated cookbooks that the older students regularly check out. I would advertise this cookbook to prek, Kindergarten and 1st grade students, however older students would love the recipes as well.
Huge thank you to DK Publishing, a division of Penguin Random House LLC, Sesame Street and NetGalley for an ARC of this e-cookbook.

Fun, kid-friendly cookbook for parents to use with their kids. The book shows images of your favorite Sesame Street characters, along with detailed recipes and cooking hints. Some of the recipes are more difficult and detailed than others, but overall a fun family-time activity.

This was a really fun cookbook for families with younger children. It's not just filled with recipes, but also the basics of cooking in general. There are also a lot of great recipes in here to encourage more adventurous eating while still focusing on making healthier choices. My only complaint is the same one I have with a lot of cookbooks - it expects you to have some kitchen gadgets that are not staples in all family kitchens, specifically a food processor. It would have been good had the authors provided some alternatives for it you didn't have everything needed for a recipe.

The perfect book for the little chefs in your life! This book encourages families to cook together for fun and wellness. The inclusion of everyone's favorite Sesame Street friends makes the experience even more fun!

My daughter is a huge Sesame Street fan and loved this book! we will thoroughly enjoy cooking our way through it together and creating family memories

This cookbook is a charming way to make healthy eating fun for little chefs and their families. With the help of beloved Sesame Street characters, kids can explore the kitchen while learning about healthy habits, food prep, and kitchen safety. The simple recipes, nutrition tips, and clear instructions make it easy for young cooks to create delicious dishes that everyone can enjoy together.

The book is cute and gives solid advice on eating healthy. Getting kids involved in what they are eating is always a great thing! I gave the book 3.5 because I felt like the cookbook was lacking visual learning for kids, the step by step pictures in a recipe. Also, I feel like the recipes are not super appealing. Sprinkle some simple more accessible recipes in there and that would help.

Sesame Street Let's Cook Together is a great introduction to cooking for kids. It starts off with information about kitchen safety, basic skills, and kitchen tools. The recipes would be easy for kids to help adults with and many even end up looking like Sesame Street characters. I appreciated that there were many photographs in this cookbook; that is always a win for me. There is a wide variety of recipes types to help introduce kids to new foods. This would be a great gift for the little cooks in your life.

This book was so adorable! I am so glad I had the opportunity to review it. It's a great book to get kids interested in cooking. There's a wide variety of recipes and cuisines for all sorts of situations. I really liked the Fluffy Fritters, Grouch on Toast, and Big Bird's Sunshine Dip.

This was perfection -- but I'd expect nothing less from Sesame Street. I've used this at home with my own children, as well as with my special education students. I love how accessible everything is.

Okay, you put a muppet on the front and I’m going to read it. Great fun family cookbook. You can cook with your kids or grandkids. A fun read

My daughter really loved looking at this one with me. Was adorable cook book. Recipes look easy to do. She already picked a few to try. So I'd say this a five star book.

This cookbook is cute and has lots of fun recipes that I’d make with my toddler son. I liked the “helping hand” tips that were added to the pages every so often, although admittedly some of them were a little obvious.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this book!

There are so many healthy, yet tasty recipes to make in here with little tips and tricks for your kids to help out with!

I wanted to love this, since we are a house full of Sesame fans, however this cookbook fell a little flat for us. It felt like it lacked the Sesame magic when it came to discussing food and immediately felt quite preachy for a children’s cookbook (notes to ensure you’re only using low or no fat milk/cheese to make it “healthier” when that may not be what’s best for your family). Apart from that, this cookbook lacked symbols and icons to make it easy to navigate for any families with allergens or restrictions. I’d also expect to see process images in a book marketed towards young children (ie how to roll a burrito) to help the youngest chefs understand the steps to take.
Overall my kids weren’t interested in these recipes and I didn’t find them eye catching either. For me, this is a pretty mid-range cookbook with Sesame character stickers sprinkled throughout vs a true children’s cookbook.

Sesame Street does it again. What do we love as much as Sesame Street, FOOD and COOKING! We loved this book. So well put together and easy to follow , even for little ones. The photography shows us characters from Sesame Street and some yummy looking food we can’t wait to try. Each recipe is easy to follow, has a brief description, ingredients, serving size and how long to cook. The instructions are step by step and so easy to understand. The book is packed full of helpful tips along the way. It also explains different items needed to cook with, preparing meals and healthy habits.
This book is perfect for every family with little ones who love to cook, love Sesame Street or both! We even found some new family favorite recipes like Coconutty Chicken Bites, Wonder Waffles and Roll and Go Wraps. We received this as an ebook ARC but can’t wait to add this to our home collection and to gift to some friends. Your family will Love this book! Enjoy it together.
1000 stars and more

I absolutely love this! My daughter is still in her Sesame Street phase and loves to look at cookbooks, so this was the perfect fit. I love the little tips and tricks spread out through the book. Recipes are accessible for kids.
