I am aware that what I am about to write is not my most insightful review, however, if you’d excuse me, and trust me please, can I simply put it as such: this book is such a great example of humans’ love and care for each other. Delicate themes are handled with uttermost care by Carlat. His narrative is gripping, compelling and compassionate. This is not only a book about grief. It is about our life journey. The tips are useful - I have not lost a child. I know quite many who have lost a child, and I hope this book and they meet.
A life-affirming book about being human. It is a read that promotes hope and understanding,
I am still processing my experience with this book, and I think I wrote more than I initially thought I could.
