Oh it’s so nice to meet old friends again!

I can’t wait to see what the children will do? Learn more about Arthur’s past, and meet new characters to fall in love with.

I appreciate the found family trope and I'm certain this book with only make me love the characters more deeply.

Daniel is also a very soothing narrator.

An amazing treat to listen to this excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea. The narrator, Daniel Henning, once again was a perfect match for this sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea,

To be once again brought into the magical world of Arthur and Linus and their family was a joy, and I cannot wait for the full release in September!! It sounds like this book will have a focus on Arthur's background, but I also am looking forward to the antics of the children Arthur has made his family.

Thank you to MacMillan Audio and NetGalley for this excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea!!

Once again, the narrator knocks it out of the park! I listened to The House in the Cerulean Sea and Daniel Henning brought the character's to life with his incredible narration. He appears to have done it again with Somewhere Beyond the Sea and I can't wait to hear the rest. I think listening to this one is definitely the way to go for a fully immersive experience. I can't fully rate the book yet since I've just listened to the Sneak Peak, but this previews is 5 stars! I'm very excited to hear the rest. Full review to come...

Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune is the sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea. This story picks up at the end of the previous book. Arthur and Linus, along with other friends in the area, provide a safe place for magical children to live and flourish with hopes that they never feel the pain and neglect that Arthur did as a child.

This is an excerpt of Somewhere Beyond the Sea, with the prologue and first chapter. It seems like this story is going to heavily focus on Arthur, his background, and some difficult decisions he has to make in present time. Similar to the first book, the characters have a wide range of unique personalities that are displayed. I found myself laughing out loud to some moments in chapter one ("gangrenous donkey balls!") and felt warmth being immersed again in their lives. The narrator, Daniel Henning, displays his versatility as he portrays each character. He masters comedic timing when narrating all of the funny moments from the children.

I CANNOT WAIT for the full book to be published and will be reading it right away! Thank you to Macmillan Audio for making this available for review. Somewhere Beyond the Sea is expected to be published September 10, 2024.

Well of course TJ Klune's highly anticipated sequel to House in the Cerulean Sea is going to be amazing, and this sneak peek proves Klune has not lost an ounce of his humor and charm.

It's lovely to see all the old character's back, and hear what shenanigans they're up to. I also look forward to hearing more about Arthur's past.

This seems like a sequel to flashbacks of The House in the Cerulean Sea. I was so happy to be back in the same universe with Arthur and Linus again along with the children! I cannot wait for publication day!
