The highly-anticipated sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea, the book picks up not far from where the last one ended. Caring for the fun and spunky magical children of their strange orphanage on Marsyas Island, Arthur Parnassus and Linus Baker are living the dream. But when Arthur is called to the city to testify about his own troubled past, a new fight begins.
I devoured this! Thank you to Tor Publishing for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Since this was just a sneak peek, I can only exclaim my excitement for the rest of the book. Klune is an auto-read author for me. I love his work and I can't wait to finish this story.

I loved this sneak peak and cant wait for the full book to come out ! It is just as lovely and cozy as the first and diving back into this world felt like coming home

TJ Klune did it again. I love the characters and their stories. The writing is perfection. I know this is just a tease but I can’t wait to delve into the book

I did not realize this was a preview, my mistake. I guess I just see this author’s name and get trigger happy. I have enjoyed every single thing this author has released and of course this would be no different. First time listening to an audiobook version from this author and regardless of the format these books are engrossing, magical and beautiful. I cannot wait to read the entire sequel.

As someone who fell in love with *The House in the Cerulean Sea*, I was thrilled to get a sneak peek of the audiobook for T.J. Klune's upcoming sequel, *Somewhere Beyond the Sea*. Klune has quickly become a favorite author of mine, and I eagerly anticipate each new release, knowing I'll be met with a perfect blend of wit, snark, fantasy, and creativity.
This prequel did not disappoint—it carried the same warmth and charm as the first book, making me eager to continue the story. The narrative has the same flavor that made *The House in the Cerulean Sea* so special, and I'm incredibly excited to devour the full book when it's released.
The narrator was phenomenal, bringing each character to life with distinct and engaging voices. It added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already delightful story. If the rest of the book is anything like this sneak peek, it’s sure to be another hit from Klune.
Thank you to NetGalley and MacMillian Audio for this sneak peak so that I may give my honest feedback and review.

The sneak peek whetted my appetite for more Arthur, Linus, and the amazing magical kids on the island of Marsyas!
Also, Daniel Hemming is one of my favorite narrators. He's the perfect choice for TJ's books, and I was thrilled to begin this journey by listening to him do the characters, etc. again. I consistently recommend The House in the Cerulean Sea because of him and the amazing writing of TJ Klune.
I love that this time we're getting Arthur's perspective! What a fun way to differentiate this one from THITCS, but also keep us in the world that we all came to love.
I'm excited to "read" the rest. I ordered the audiobook and will finish it this weekend!

Just what I expected. The audiobook delivered! It took me back to that magical world T.J. Klune created for Arthur and Linus. I don’t know if I could put into words how much I love this series. I was so happy a second book came out and even moreso being able to listen to the audiobook. Daniel Henning is SUCH an amazing narrated and creates such a fun and memorable reading and listening experience with the world he creates.
Huge thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan audio for the excerpt to experience what magic is to come!! I absolutely couldn’t get enough and wanted more.

I am so excited to read this book! The sneak peek was as wonderful as I was hoping. It gave me all the visceral vibes I felt while reading the first book.

Major teaser! The narrator pulled me right back to the first book, to Arthur’ and the rest of the people in his house and on the island. I just got the print version and am excited to dive in.

Easily 5 stars! I can’t freaking wait for the full audio! I read The House in the Cerulean Sea so I did not experience the audio with voices but this! It makes me want to go back and Listen to it just for the voices alone. Each character is perfectly captured and the storyline sounds amazing. Although it was only an hour long sneak peak, I was hooked!

SNEAK PEEK! Not enough for how much I wanted to get my hands on this book. I loved going back to this world and cannot wait to dive into the rest of the book. TJ's characters have my heart.

Love! I cannot wait to return to this world and get my hands on the physical book. This sneak peek was exactly what I needed to get excited to read about Marsyas Island.

I only got to listen to this preview so far, but I loved feeling as though I was so quickly back in this world. The narration felt so friendly and familiar; I can't wait to see what happens. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me listen to this audiobook sneak peak

Ahhh...I love being back in this magical world with these wonderfully gifted children and the live and acceptance they find with Arthur and Linus. The narration is perfection and is the best way to enjoy this story in my opinion. I can't wait to listen to the whole book!!

Ugh this is so good and I wish it was the full book! Please give it to me now!!!!! Why must they only give us the excerpt!

A delightful return to the world TJ Klune first shared with us in House on the Cerulean Sea. I can't wait for the rest!

In Somewhere Beyond the Sea, TJ Klune crafts a mesmerizing tale that captivates from the very first page. The novel’s lyrical prose and vivid imagery transport readers to a world where every emotion is felt deeply and every scene is painted with exquisite detail. The characters are richly developed and profoundly relatable, their journeys echoing with authenticity and grace. The narrative's emotional depth and beautifully rendered settings create an immersive experience that lingers long after the last page is turned. This book is a triumph of storytelling, blending evocative language with a compelling plot to deliver a truly unforgettable read.
Thank you NetGalley for providing the advanced copy!

The first book in this series is one of my all-time favorite books, so it is no surprise that I loved the sequel! Loving couple, Linus and Arthur, work tirelessly to advocate for the rights of the magical youth they care for in their very unique orphanage on Marsyas Island. Filled with heart and humor, this is a story of found family, acceptance, beauty in diversity, and queer joy. It's impossible not to fall in love with the characters thanks to TJ Klune's beautiful writing style; I so enjoyed being reunited with them in this sequel. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook version as Daniel Henning's narration is unparalleled!!
Note: Reading the first book, The House in the Cerulean Sea, is a must before starting this sequel!

"This is what happens when you sleep late. Just when you think you're getting extra rest, someone breathes fire."
I would like to thank the publisher for giving me an audio sneak peek in exchange for an honest review.
I CANNOT WAIT TO DIVE INTO THIS BOOK!
We see Arthur when he's first coming to the island, and then we get a little glimpse into the house dynamic after the events of book 1 and it's just so dang cute and cozy that I'm itching to pick up the book now! Also, I love the narrator for the audiobook -- it's the same one from the first book and he does a fantastic job with the voices for each of the characters.
