Really enjoyed this book! Very romantic, cheesy and set in Paris! Made me feel all lovely and happy!

Christmas...
Paris,...
Romance...
A big mystery to add intrigue...
Rom-com Writer who keeps trying to murder her leading man...
...Ok so all of these are big plus points for this wonderful story, and the murderous thoughts that Anais is having, is due to her coming out of a messy divorce with not much more than a run down hotel and a severe case of writers block.
Anais and cousin Manon are determined to get the hotel up and running for a soft launch just before Christmas, and the ideas Anais has for this hotel... well let's just say I think every book lover will be wishing this hotel was real.
And in getting it set up we are treated to a literary tour of Paris, which was fascinating and again will appeal to any book lover.
Add in Noah who runs the bar next to the hotel who Anais shoots her mouth off at every time he appears, plus Manon's love of true crime, and you have a funny, romantic and rather festive treat of a story.
It was a sheer delight to spend time between the pages of this book.
Thank you to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Merry Christmas!! May bookmarks and romantic books in Paris bring nothing but joy! Because I know this book brought me nothing but holiday cheer! 🎙️
Anais is a recently divorced woman who ends up getting a French hotel out of her settlement! She decides to cure her writer's block and at the same time make a career change and allow Paris to shower her and it's elegance and quirky Christmas magic!💗
Grab the hot chocolate and curl up! This book will take you on a slow burn romance and beautiful female friendship love story! I felt as if this book was a beautiful box of multiple bows and I couldn't decide which one to unwrap first!🎁
I've always been a hotel fanatic! The history of hotels to the mystery of hotels! And this book definitely has both! 📰
A delicious Christmas treat that I will reread over and over! 🍾
Bravo!

he story follows the life of Anaïs, a famous romance writer with writing block and behind in creating her latest book. In addition, the divorce with François-Xavier also happens, and she gets a derelict hotel in Paris. In the latter, she had invested all her savings during their marriage, and since she could not sell it in its present condition, she had to begin its restoration. Close by her side in the process is her cousin Manon.
The two embark on the ambitious task of transforming the place, setting themselves a deadline to have the hotel up and running by Christmas. We witness their unwavering determination in the face of numerous challenges. Anais continues to strive to finish/start her novel, but the plot tends to take a more criminal turn since she is not at all romantically inclined at the moment.
There are quite a few funny moments, lots of bookish stories, beautifully inserted details, and sights of Paris that will make you feel like you're right there. I'm on the verge of buying a plane ticket and popping over there some weekend…
And the most exciting part—the hotel has two rooms that have been well hidden and have kept their secrets and history for over 100 years… a story of pain and one great love!
I really enjoyed the book. I couldn't put it down until I figured it all out! Some of the stories were anticipated, but others had unexpected twists that kept me in suspense until the very end!

This book is just perfect! A wonderful romantic Christmas story set in Paris with a cast of brilliant characters. I loved every page.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review.

This is a romance novel about Anais, a recently divorced novelist with writer’s block and a delapidated hotel she got as part of her divorce settlement. With the help of her loyal cousin, Manon, she sets about renovating the hotel in time for its Christmas opening but soon discovers that the hotel has its own secrets and a mystery to solve. I really enjoyed the strong female friendship through this, the slow burn romance and learning about French Christmas traditions along the way. This is a perfect lighthearted and escapist romance to curl up with as the evenings draw in and the countdown to Christmas begins. Thanks to Netgalley, Boldwood Books and Rebecca Raisin for the advanced reading copy.

This is a cute little story set at Christmastime in the beautiful city of Paris. It was enjoyable and made me want hot chocolate and Christmas music in September!
I received an advanced copy from NetGalley in exchange for a review and opinions are my own.

📖Cute story: bringing a hotel and romance back to life🗼✨
I found Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel a good, entertaining and festive read. The present day romances for the lead female character Anais De la Croix and her cousin/best friend Manon were not the main focus, but Anais's transformation from a betrayed former wife who suspects the actions, words and motives of all men to a woman open to romance is. And as Anais is a published romance writer who has lost her taste for romance and suffers prolonged writer's block as a result, she REALLY needs to get over the hurt from her failed marriage and reclaim her mojo for romance and happy endings.
This is an easy one to read in a day or two and gives a nice taste of Paris in the lead up to Christmas festivities as the women work with an amiable building contractor to bring the boutique hotel back to life before Christmas. Anais and Manon are creative about taking their limited budget and getting things done. And the mystery of some long-hidden rooms and papers in the hotel Anais and Manon are renovating adds a degree of suspense and a good reason for Anais and Noah, the proprietor of the adjacent business, to spend quality time together and develop an understanding despite a very abrasive first encounter. I thought their ideas for transforming the hotel into an oasis for book lovers were fun and clever.
Thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

This book follows Anais, who, after a messy divorce, is left with a run-down hotel. Undeterred, she sets out to restore it before Christmas, with the help of her spirited cousin, Manon. Her plans are complicated by Noah, the charming but irritating bar owner next door, who becomes both a rival and a love interest, sparking a playful competition and undeniable romantic tension.
The story combines humor, heartwarming moments, and a touch of mystery as Anais and Noah navigate their differences, ultimately learning to work together. Described as a "Parisian Hallmark movie," the book goes beyond a cozy holiday setting, exploring themes of inner healing, family bonds, and resilience. With its endearing characters and lighthearted tone, it's a story about finding love and rediscovering joy amid life's unexpected challenges.

Thanks to Netgalley & Boldwood Books for the E-ARC! So cute!! Loved the characters & all the bookish vibes. New fav Christmas book!!

Having enjoyed Raisin's "A Love Letter to Paris", I got really excited when I stumbled across another one of her books on NetGalley. Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas? Maybe. Was there any chance at all that I would bypass this book? Nope.
I'm so glad I picked this up, because what's better than a book about a scorned woman who becomes a hotelier, solves a mystery, and ends up finding love with the grumpy bar-owner next door, all set against the backdrop of Paris during the most magical time of the year? Nothing, that's what.
In "Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel", Anais is left with a derelict hotel as part of a divorce settlement after her cheating ex-husband runs off with his new mistress (loser). But unlucky for him, our beautiful protagonist is not easily put off - Anais is determined to restore the hotel to its former glory, and has the help of her feisty and hilarious cousin Manon to achieve this before Christmas. What she doesn't count on is Noah, the infuriating (but sexy) bar-owner next door interfering constantly, and the growing romantic tension between them.
"I do splurge on some Christmas lights for the windows, and I hide a smug smile when I note they're bigger and better than Noah's rather lacklustre strings".
I mean, honestly, how could you not love Anais for that?
With a bit of mystery, some hilarious competition between Anais and Noah, and a glass-is-half-full Manon, this story was so well-rounded and heartfelt. I saw some people described it as a Parisian hallmark movie and honestly, YES. I see it. But while it's definitely picturesque, this book is also about inner healing, family, putting aside your differences to work together, and a love for books! There are literary references sprinkled throughout this book as well as a secret library, but I won't spoil anything. You'll just have to pick it up and read for yourself.

I absolutely loved this! I could visualise the hotel and surroundings and was totally swept away and invested in the outcome. In her divorce settlement romance author Anais receives a derelict and rundown boutique hotel. Her initial thoughts are to do it up and sell it but that’s not going to be as straightforward as she thinks. With the help of her cousin Manon she decides to get it up and running in time to open for Christmas. What she doesn’t count on is Noah, the grumpy, but gorgeous, American bar owner next door who keeps interfering. Then there are the hidden suites…….. Why are they hidden and what secrets do they hold? A fabulous location, a great cast of characters, including some from Rebecca’s previous book set in Paris, and an engaging storyline this is a very enjoyable read that has a bit of everything. Thank you to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

A Hallmarkish type story set in Paris leading up to Christmas. It's definitely a fun read. Anise gets the raw end of a bad divorce, and the only thing to show for it is a run-down hotel her ex paid too much for. The only way to make money is to fix the hotel up and then sell it. On top of it, Anise needs to write her latest book. Throw into the mix a book snob neighbor who owns a bar and the realization the hotel might have an interesting secret. Add a touch of romance, and a fun story is created.
I received an ARC copy of the book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

I was so excited to start this book, Paris, Christmas, quaint hotel. But then 1/2 way through there were things in it I prefer not to read. Wish I’d known before I requested it.

A very pleasant and readable holiday title. It's about Paris, which automatically makes it something I will be able to recommend with ease. Will be an easy title to hand sell.

A great easy read. I love the way Rebecca reintroduced previous characters from her previous books set in Paris.
I found the history of famous authors who lived in Paris, very interesting, as well as the areas connected with literature.
The main characters worked well together especially the family bond between the two cousins. I also enjoyed reading about the various traditions surrounding Christmas.
A light and entertaining book.

A great romance story with tidbits of info about Paris at Christmas time. A good mix of characters and another hit for Rebecca Raisin

A thoroughly charming holiday tale set in the world's most romantic city.
The characters were all unique and well-drawn; love-shy writer Anais, struggling to regain her footing after a bitter divorce; snarky, unconventional Manon; and hunky bar owner/literature geek/expat American, Noah, who comes to the rescue in more ways than one.
I enjoyed the details of them rejuvenating the rundown hotel, all the tidbits of how Paris celebrates Christmas, and the gradual reveal of the Mystery of Suite 19.
This was my first book by this author, but it certainly won't be the last!

Cute, engaging story that is perfect for when you want to curl up with a good, lighthearted book.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love the author‘s Paris bookshop novel so I obviously had to read this one as well. Christmas and Paris made for a wonderful combination and I really enjoyed this little book.
