This book is exactly what you'd expect: cute, cozy, and predictable in a nice way! It’s a simple, feel-good holiday read that doesn’t demand much but offers plenty of warmth and charm. Perfect if you're in the mood for something lighthearted and festive. I generally don't really enjoy books that are quite predictable and formulaic, but I felt like this one was a sweet read. I did, however, feel like the cousin Manon was a bit of a two dimensional character. She only existed to help the main character along, and it just seemed a bit implausible and silly. Other than that though, its a nice book.

I really liked the characters in Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel. They sparked off one another, were realistic and entertaining. The plot includes a little mystery with the discovery of two more suites in the hotel than there are meant to be; one of which looks like the occupant walked out of it a hundred years ago leaving everything behind, the other locked.
I loved the idea of a book themed hotel, with the rooms named after novels and a complimentary book by the same title gifted on arrival.
There is so much to like about Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel. It is a fun and heartwarming read with great characters and an inspired plot. The Parisian Christmas markets are the icing on the cake!

Always love a book wherein the characters are also book lovers!
For me, this was a delightful story that was multi-layered. I greatly enjoyed the lost love letters from the past outlining a forbidden love.
There have been so many charming holiday reads I’ve had the pleasure to preview. Without a doubt, this is a MUST READ!

PROS:
Discovering the secrets of an old building was fun.
Set in Paris.
Literary mystery with romantic elements.
CONS:
The main character irritated me, the feminism got old very quick.
There were no obstacles to overcome (everything was perfect, renovations/manuscript/romance all completed in a month, everyone said yes, the food was perfect all the time etc)
The French quips were predictable.
The book doesn’t fit the genre the author has indicated. While the cover makes you think this is a Christmas romance. It is not. It is a mystery that has been set close to Christmas.
The French used throughout the book has been incorrectly translated and the French names used have been misspelt.
The details about her hotel have not been thoroughly researched in regards to French rules/regulations.
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this ARC in return for my honest review.

If you want a cozy read to get you in the Christmas spirit? Look no further! I'm always a bit cautious with contemporary romance books set in Paris since a lot of them let me down (inaccuracies in location descriptions, barely using Paris as a background at all, incorrect names of pastries et cetera). But Rebecca Raisin did a great job! It's clear that she either has actually been to Paris or did a decent research.
That being said, the story itself is so cozy and fun! Anais is an incredibly likeable character and as someone who works in tourism in Paris, I felt like I could relate to her really well. This book is basically a Hallmark movie and I ate it up!

I want the thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to find the audio version through my local library. This was an okay book. I feel like the main character just complained about everything and everyone and I got tired of hearing about how horrible all men are and how horrible male writers are. The feminism got old real quick. It was just just okay for me.

This book has a little bit of everything. It had romance, a bit of mystery and of course some holiday spirit. I really enjoyed this book and was rooting for Anais. This will make a great cozy holiday read. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

I love Rebecca’s books, and this was no exception. Christmas, books, intrigue and mystery, along with a little bit of romance. I’ve never fancied Paris, to be honest, but pick the hotel up and put it down somewhere else and I’m there!
The characters were all adorable, some quirky, some cute and some just a little bit grumpy! Manon and Anais have an adorable relationship as cousins. My cousin and I are really close and yes, actually, I could see us working together in a cute little bookshop in the windy streets of some seaside town somewhere. Definitely not a city though, we’re both country girls at heart!
As always, Rebecca has knocked it out of the park with this one, and I always want to read whatever she writes,
Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books and Rachel’s Random Resources for the opportunity to read and review Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel by Rebecca Raisin.

In this beautiful holiday romance novel, Rebecca Raisin brings the magic of a Parisian Christmas with a literary twist and a charming romance to life. Following romance writer Anais after a divorce leaves her the proud owner of a derelict hotel in Paris, readers join Anais, her cousin, and the grumpy American bar owner next door Noah during the renovation process and a hoped-for soft opening just in time for Christmas. The hotel has more secrets in store for Anais, however, as a locked suite of rooms holds the key to a love story lost for a century. As they discover the secrets of the hotel and grow over the course of the novel, readers get to experience the first Christmas at Anais’s hotel with her in this charming, romantic, and heartwarming novel. With brilliant characters, a compelling mystery, and fantastic relationships at the core of the novel, Raisin’s latest book carries the magic of the holiday spirit into readers’ lives. Anais is a complex protagonist, and her enemies-to-lovers dynamic with Noah is fun to watch develop over the course of the novel. Tying into the same universe as her previous French romance novel, there are a few fun cameos that long-time readers will enjoy, but the magic of Raisin’s Parisian Christmas will be appealing and enjoyable to all readers.

A sweet and cozy story about Anais, a 38 year newly divorced, trying to fix up a small Hotel while writting her next romance novel.
This books has all the feelings and a little mystery and romance.
I really liked both the chemistry between Anais and her cusin Manon, and Anias and Noah!
I did want more Christmas vibe, but the Paris setting was perfect!

Thank you to the author, NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Yet another great book from Rebecca Raisin that once I started I could not stop. Anais has just been lumped with what looks like the most derelict hotel in Paris after her divorce but with the help of her cousin she is hoping to fix it up enough to be able to sell so she can once again focus on her writing which since the divorce has suffered and instead of fluffy romances they end up with the murder of the hero.
When Anais thinks that things cannot get any worse she has a not so nice encounter with Noah the owner of the business next door that has her bursting with anger. However all is not what it seems not only with Noah or the hotel after a surprising find one night.
As with her other novels Rebecca”s it is a light and easy read with a bit of a twist that I love to devour.

Rebecca Raisin in impeccable. This is such a feel good wonderful heartwarming story. The characters are utterly charming and the plot is different and works so well

Coming off a messy divorce, romance author Anais deals with writer’s block and a derelict boutique hotel in Paris, that she inherited in the divorce. It had potential, but was overly unrealistic (completing renovations within one month, as well as completing a manuscript and starting a love affair). It was also simplistic and sentimental in an unrealistic way - all relationships were perfect, everyone agreed to everything, everything worked out. With perfect French food and French quips throughout. Too Hallmark movie for me.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the arc.

After her divorce Anais is left with only an old rundown hotel in France. Since all her money has been poured into this hotel she is determined to get it up and running and ready to sell. In renovating the hotel she finds some enlightening discoveries that lead her to also renovate herself.

A run down hotel, Christmas time and Paris!
This book has it all from beginning to end, including mystery and romance with a touch of Christmas cheer making it an enjoyable read, one not to miss at an time of the year.
Another great read from the author.

I really enjoyed this magical little Christmasy rom-com. Anais writes romantic comedy. After discovering her cheating husband she receives an old run-down hotel in Paris due to her messy divorce. She's hoping to fix and sell it, not counting on a bossy neighbor who runs a bar next door. With the help of her cousin Manon, they work together to fix up the hotel and make it a destination-worthy hotel, with a literary influence. They also work to uncover a mystery of sealed-off rooms and a mysterious author who lived and worked there.
This is the 3rd story of the authors I've read and loved. I loved the characters in the story, especially Anais's cousin Manon. She knew there were sparks between Noah the neighbor and did her best to keep pushing them together. There was also an appearance of the Cupid of Paris, from Love Letter to Paris. Overall this was a fun, cozy read for the holidays. It was published Sept 17th of this year. I'm looking forward to reading more by this writer.
Thanks to the author, @boldwoodbooks and @netgalley for this ARC

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book got off to a slow start, but I loved it so much. I have read, and enjoyed, a lot of books by this author, so I had high expectations going into reading this. It definitely lived up to my expectations!

Enjoyed it. Paris during the holidays seemed wonderful with all the markets. Parts of the book seemed to drag a bit and the constant fighting with Noah was a bit much. I do not see Noah and Anais as the perfect match. Throughout the book, there was no chemistry between the two, unless you count the constant arguing. He mansplained everything and constantly complained about everything. The skip wasn't in the right condition, the hotel is rundown, Anais's parking skills, window washing and the list goes on and on. She thought of ways to murder him in her book. The family chat was a bit ridiculous. Why do you have to ask everyone in your family if you should give your child a loan? Manon was the perfect sidekick for Anais. Plus she loved true crime and offered to get rid of Francois-Xavier for Anais. Everyone warned Anais about Francois-Xavier. She ignored all of his red flags. I enjoyed the mystery behind Suite nineteen and twenty. The Secret Library Hotel sounds like a cute place to stay, as long as Noah isn't hosting a death metal event.
Definitely recommend the book. It's a cute story and the perfect holiday read. I enjoyed the story, characters and writing style. It was great to see Lilou and Genevieve make an appearance. Look forward to reading more books by the author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Boldwood Books through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Is it Christmas even if I don’t have a Rebecca Raisin to make the cold and dark nights warmer, I’m a huge fan of Rebecca’s books and I always recommend them to fans of romance or an entertaining and addictive story, Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel falls into both of these categories.
Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel is such a magical read, I was overjoyed by how festive it made me feel and I was sad to put it down, Rebecca writes so beautifully and I was so drawn in by the seasonal joy, the secret library , yes a secret library 🥰 I loved how much this book focused on books, it was so central there’s nothing more I love than reading books than reading a character that lives literature in every form too.
I loved the mystery of the story, how it’s used to draw Anais and Noah together via a tentative truce, to friends to …… well you’ll have to read to find out ! Anas literary ideas for the hotel sound lovely and I so want to visit somewhere like this. If you’re looking for a festive story, full of mystery, romance and book love , then you’ve found you’re book, if you want a story written from the heart too, you’ve hit the jackpot in Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel
