Whether Thou Goest by Robert G Hufstudler, If this is the kind of story the author writes then I definitely want to read more from him. I read the story about the first serial killers the hearts A while back and was intrigued to see things from Susan and Betsy‘s viewpoint. I don’t want to give much away because OMG there is a twist in despite this being a true story it is definitely an epic twist I wasn’t expecting. Betsy and Susan had a hard life, betsy was the middle child and they lost their mom when she was 12 and it was all left up to Betsy to tend to her siblings. Her dad was an alcoholic and always thought he was the smartest guy in the room it was soon after the war for independence which was also the catalyst for the heart brothers hatred. Susan Betsy and another woman named Sally were force to travel with the hard brothers Susan was married to big heart and Sally to Wiley heart but due to a promise Betsy made her mother she traveled with them as well. I do want to warn any future reader of this book there is horrible murders described in the book in the last one with the mom and her baby just tore my heart into but anyone who likes True Crime real history and a great historical story needs to read Whether Thou Goest. The author has a comfortable writing style that really keeps you wanting to turn the pages but whatever you do do not stop reading until you get to the end because OMG it is so so worth it. I really absolutely loved the book. What a sad but great read! #NetGalley,#RobertGHuffstuddler, #whetherThouGoest,
